Black Friday discount went wrong

Our Black Friday discount went wrong.

We have discount price on chosen products. And for all others products a promotional code.

The problem is, when there is a discount product and a product without discount in the shopping basket and you use the promotional code, it will take off the % for the promotional code even on the products on already discount.

The button "Don't include already discount products" are on "YES". 

What have we done wrong?

This is how PS works. Not sure if it's a bug. But I meant, you have not done anything wrong.

I had a very similar problem on 1.6 friday  the problem was with the product selection I had products that were associated with both discount codes and the customers were getting double discount,  a lot of head scratching and searching and I found it

Very useful modules! I have also had this problem with my new website recently and couldn't fix it.
