404 for brand empty

My website is running 404 for rand category in case categoty is empty :

in case Brans is full 

that is ok

Could you explain  why ?

Hi,

This   is   a  default   behaviour   handle   by   the  search  feature.

If  the   Brand  or  Category  is  empty  it  consider  it  as  an  empty  search  result   and  render   the not  found  page.
