Link Widget links inconsistently active

Hi,

I"m currently in the process of setting up a new shop and have noticed that the links managed by the Link Widget module in Prestashop version 1.7.6.7 (I upgraded from 1.7.5.2 but the issue was also there) are on some pages inactive, on others only part of them is active and there are also pages, where none of them are clickable. Other links in the system (such as those in main menu) are not affected. I am observing this behaviour since installation of the shop and it is not related to the theme in use because the issue is also present when using the standard theme. I have also tried different browsers and still getting this. I have also tried to remove links in the link widget module and add them again but that does not help either.

Apologies if this has been asked before but neither the search engine of the forum nor Google has been helpful with this.
