Which files are modified by the SEO Domain settings?

So I just completed a migration from 1.6 to 1.7.6.7, placing the new installation in a directory within the public_html folder as an add-on domain. Made a big mistake an changed the SEO domain settings (thinking this was the site name = total newbie to PS). 

Original SEO settings:

domain: domain1.ca (active 1.6)

SSL: domain1.ca

URl: /domain2.com (add-on location - folder within public_html)

Changed to

domain: domain2.com (1.7)

SSL: domain1.ca

URl: domain1.ca/domain2.com 

Now no longer able to access BO, loss of all login page images. Login directs to domain1.ca with a 404.

Anyone know which files are modified by changing the SEO settings? The only way I can think of of correcting the issue is to manually correct the modified files?

Or it their a workaround to access the BO SEO settings?
