Why was the warehouse option removed but the code is still there?

Does anyone know why in version 1.7 the warehouse options were removed, but it is still in the core of PrestaShop?

There are Warehouse.php, WarehouseProductLocation.php files and there is code in the product files to manage the warehouses

But why is it not implemented?
