View the product cover image instead of the default product combination image

Hello,
in combination product, Prestashop shows image of the one selected by default in product combination instead of the generic (Cover) image of product.
It’s possible to show generic (Cover) image of product on the product listing (for example in category page)?

the problem is on Front-End, in product category list.

In the attached image, you can see on Front-End that is not shown Cover Image selected on Back-End, but is shown default product combination image selected.

Try   to  clear  the  cache  to  see  if  it  is  not   just  cache  related.

No, is not a cache problem.

I've also tried to change theme, but nothing changed.

My module "Please choose attributes - Product combination check" has a feature to change the image to the cover image instead of the default combinatioj image:
