Switching from Bootstrap to CSS Grid - Redesign template from beginning

Hi,

I wanna write completely new theme and I don't wanna use bootstrap grid. So my plan is use the CSS Grid except Bootstrap Grid.

Where should I start?

Is there a clean template somewhere that I can style with my own and use my CSS classes etc.?

I don't think this is a good idea.

Please note that modules usually try to use default classes to display blocks in frontoffice, so they will use Bootstrap classes.
