[1.7.6.4 ] Tables/date for ps_mainmenu

Hi,

I want to be able to manipulate the top menus for a multistore installation without using the ps_mainmenu module on the backoffice (ie via our software).

I thought this module used tables ps_linksmenutop and ps_linksmenutop_lang but these tables are empty.

Using the back office I can use the module to add/remove/move menu items and it all works as per the test site linked above.

How is this working if the tables are empty?

Where are the details stored that builds the menus?

Any help appreciated.
