I don't have much knowledge about Prestashop, because I have had to install this only for my computer science lessons and I have a problem. Installation is always successfull, I'm deleting "install" folder, but after installation my admin folder doesn't change the name. I know it should be named e.x. "admin3817" (I have only "admin"), but no matter, how many times I install Prestashop, I can't see my shop or log into the control panel, because of admin folder. What am I doing wrong? JBW Posted April 27, 2020 Share Posted April 27, 2020 Indeed it should be renamed by the Shop itself, no need to do you by FTP or cPanel. If this doesn't work might be related to file/folder permissons, check that the server is allowed to change it. Activate debug mode to see if there are any other erorrs.
