Hi,

How can I change the  URL name in the adress bar?

a customer has registered a domain name with a web host. This domain name has now been redirected to my test serve,  because this web host did not meet the prestashop requirements.

The shop URLL now is http://www.ontwikkel-wbf.nl/nobiliscosmetics/nl/

This must change to nobiliscosmetics.nl

I usually do this by transfering the domain name to my webhosting but this customer does not want this

What is the best way to do this?

changehttp://www.ontwikkel-wbf.nl/nobiliscosmetics/nl/     to    nobiliscosmetics.nl   in the URL bar

Thanks.

Hi,

You  should  change  the  shop url  from   PhpMyAdmin    search  for  ps_shop    and  modify  the  field  shop_url   to point to the  nobiliscosmetics.nl   .

I have checked this option but if I look into this table there is no field shop_url

The Tabel: pr_shop_url contains the domain but changing this will cause a error to many redirects

.

The domein name nobiliscosmetics.nl    now points to my server http://www.ontwikkel-wbf.nl/nobiliscosmetics/nl/ this is how i want it but i don't want to show this in the browser address bar. This must be nobiliscosmetics.nl

is this possible?

It  is version related  in your case  the field  shop_url     is just  physical_uri        remove  the   /nobiliscosmetics/nl/      and leave   just  /     or put  the domain name .

You have  all the data  in front of you.
