Order display, how to grab order data out

Hi everyone.

Are there a method to extract data from the order counter in prestashop internal interface and grab the data to use for another database?

I will make a counter digital display in my office that I can see the orders on so I can react to then somebody order a product in my webshop.

Does prestashop have som API, rest or some ells way to extract the data securely?
