Modification Validate.php possible ?

Recommended Posts

Hi !

i want to change the Validate.php to accept the caracter "#" in my html CMS content.

Why ? ===> to add some smileys !  because the smileys is "😜' and the # is not available, i think i have to modify isValidSearch function and erase the #...

Do you think it's risky ?

Because when i add the html code for the smiley directly inside phpmyadmin, it's ok but if i add inside the html CMS content with the backoffice it's not working...

Thanks for advise !!

I think you should edit the regex of isCleanHTML for that, I believe it's what the cms content uses for validation
