How to show VAT number in PDF invoice

Hi everyone,

Hope someone can please help me. I have looked through the forum posts but cannot find an answer.

I'm running Prestashop 1.7.6.0.

My client wants their VAT number to be displayed on the PDF invoice that can be downloaded by a customer after a transaction has taken place.

Can anyone please let me know how to do this?

You should be able to change the address format for every EU country to show any field from the address. Search for vat_number.

I went to International -> Locations -> Countries and then selected UK.

In the 'Address Format' I can see that 'vat_number' is in the list.

But how do I actually enter the VAT number itself?

The customer has to set her VAT number in the address (and the company as well). It must be done before the order. After the order, the address can be amended in the database (table ps_address) only.

I think we are at crossed wires.

The store owner wants to add his VAT number to the PDF invoice rather than the VAT number from the customer.

Oh, you can simply add text to a PDF template. For example, try to do it in the /pdf/footer.tpl file.
