Fatal errors with 1-Click upgrade from 1.7.5.1 to 1.7.6.1

Hello all,

today I tried to "1-Click upgrade" from 1.7.5.1 to 1.7.6.1. Unfortunately, it went wrong. The errors are:

Both Front Office and Back Office became blank pages after the operation. Luckily, I backed up the instance before upgrading so I just reverted for now.

Do you understand why it doesn't work?

$container on that line is null. Strange. I don't know if it can be easily fixed. Obviously, this is not the case in most cases.

Any suggestion about how I could fix that?

It can have many reasons. I successfully upgrade with a local copy of the shop in a debugger. But you have to be ready to erase everything and start over.
