Hi all, I have fresh PS 1.7.x instalation Just created multistore, and now I want to duplicate/clone classic theme for my multistore number 2 (and edit it to make it different than strore #1) and I can't. I even can't upload starter theme from GitHub 😕 I got message as you can see below. I checked and I don't have this directory and file "...sandbox/5c4dfc58f33d5//config/theme.yml" I was trying via FTP and also in dashboard. Cant' do anything. Any ideas? Adding via FTP do completly nothing, theme is not showing in dashboard, only CLASSIC theme is there. Cache turned OFF, and crleared.

Hey everyone! Does anyone happen to have an experience regarding head-less uploading themes/addons/modules to the market? Let me be more specific: I have an idea to upload my stuff without logging in into the market directly, I want to use some things like PHP, Python or something like that in order to upload my themes/addons/modules. I have investigate site resources a bit and as far as I understand there are no any ways to do it officially, like using API or another sort of proper ways. So the the question would be is there any way to do that? Maybe someone is already experienced in that?

Hi all, Does anybody know a module/plugin to only allow file upload (may be in cart or product page) according to minimum order quantity? For ex., if you order 100 pcs the field of "file upload" is not visible; if minimum order quantity >1000 pieces, this file becomes available and required. Thank you in advance! -

Recently, Prestashop has updated their Module market place and a serious #bug is prevailing since then. While uploading a new module from Mozilla firebox, I couldn’t find the “BROWSE” button for uploading icon image, screenshots and documentation. The same issue was faced while uploading it from opera and safari. And as all these fields are mandatory it is not possible to upload new modules with any of these browsers. Only Google chrome browser has the uploading option enabled. I know PrestaShop might be working on the same to solve this as soon as possible, but this is just to highlight the issue of PrestaShop market place.

I'm currently stuck trying to get my logo to display on PrestaShop. I go to theme -> click "Add image" then save. But it won't take the image and do anything with it. I've triple checked the permissions on the img folder. (see attached image) It DOES upload the file to the img folder, but the uploaded image only has 644 permissions. The image won't get used by PrestaShop and just sits there (it's the pink file name on the image.) I've tried adjusting the image preferences to png and jpg and it won't do anything for me. Can't figure out any way to update my logo. Does anyone have any guidance for me?

Hello, Was wondering if anyone ever had the following problem. I opened a random CMS page (for example: About us) and went ahead to insert an image through the editor. I can see the popup and i can upload, but as soon as the upload is finished it says the following: SyntaxError: Unexpected token : The strange thing is that when i refresh the folder, the image did upload correctly, but why am i getting this error? More importantly, how can i fix this? From the default installation i did install another theme (http://www.prestasho...sive-theme-15x/) But surely installing a theme would not affect uploading an image..... right? Thanks in advance -

Ok I know this is an easy job for someone experienced on PS I gave it a college try and non go and i dont feel like all the research and learning cause I dont have the time. So if the price is right ...all I need done is for someone to fix my current csv file so that it will load up correctly into my shop back end. I already have the needed categories created. Attached is a screen shot of the file provided to me by my supplier. It wont let me upload the actual file. I assume the row headers just need to be changed to the correct one to match the upload categories??? This shouldnt take some one long

I have another post on this subject here: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/290462-csv-file-format-help/ BUT I never got a response AND now I actually got past that and I was able to successfully up load some of the products in my csv file but 130 of them were rejected and im not sure why??? attachment of screen shot ! Its says PS had to rename the link of the "name" of the item.

Hi, I have posted about this before but it is still bothering me! I tried to register with the CoreFTP forum to ask help there but all my email addresses are banned for some reason so I thought I would return here. I am not confident that I can upload the new additions to my PrestaShop as the info I have talks about an index.html file on my computer and uploading that, and then my website is uploaded and viewable in a web browser. Where is the index.html file, and once I have found it can I be confident that I just need to upload that each time I put more stock on or alter the website?! Thanks, Rusty

Hi, I have also posted this in the configuration forum so apologies for repeating myself, but I am anxious to get the site up now. I have used Core FTP to upload the files. Type in www.wolfpackmilitaria.com and you go to the website. Type in wolf pack militaria in a search engine and it comes back with 404 Not Found. What have I done or not done in using Core FTP? Hello, Still trying to make my website live to the world! Used Core FTP. If I type in www.wolfpackmilitaria.com, the website is there. But if I just type in wolf pack militaria (like customers will) it comes up with: Not Found The requested URL / shop.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache Server at wolfpackmilitaria. com Port 80 Rusty

Hi there, we already have the site online and it basically works. However: 1. we see that the shop is offering FREE POSTAGE on our drop down menu but not in checkout. 2. Uploading new products (pictures and text) is extreamly slow and not efficient due to the amount of products we are wanting to sell. So a bulk uploading solution is needed, and / or csv template file needs to be created for us to uploaded that way. 3. We recently downloaded prestashop for our business and it had worked great so far, but when we go to upload the images it just does not work. I checked and made sure the sizes were under 8 MB & that the format was correct (we used JPEG). The box will pop up to our folders to pick out the image, but then nothing happens at all until you save the page, exit out and go back to the editor, which then shows a little thumbnail of some random picture, but when clicked, 'TECHNICAL ERROR' appears (I attached a picture of this aswell).... It shows our issue on the website aswell... hope you can help fix this asap. - K & K ( our website is - kkcustoms.net )

Hello, I am having trouble uploading a new logo onto my prestashop back office site, along with the store icon. When I upload it it shows the new logo in the back office but when I look at it in the front office it does not show. I even deleted the old logo from my server and checked to see if the new one was there and it was. Also, after I upload the pictures it says settings saved successfully but if I change the page and go back to it no photo is being shown. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for your help.

I have created a shop that allows a customer to upload an image that would be printed on the product they have ordered. This all works fine but when I view the order then click on the picture to view it it logs me off the shop. If I right click on the image it says that the image has been blocked. Any suggestions I am running the v1.5.2 Thanks -
Hello.. This is probably a mega nooby question (though I'm no Web Server Idiot) Im having a slight issue with catalouge images. The first 5 products allowed me to upload images to them fine. And indeed those same images are working perfectly. Now the uploader on the product page simply bugs out whenever I try and upload a new image for a product. I have checked in the database for the image ID, and then check in the file system for the image, and no such image ever exists. We have changed nothing and its just started doing this :- (see attachment) when we pick and image and click upload. It refreshes then..that. The worst thing is that the uploaded still created directories for the image, and still maps them as if they existed. But no image is uploaded and no thumbnails are generated. Thankyou for your time everyone Oh and Im not out of drive space on the server or anything like that. I find it wierd the page isnt even throwing an error.

I can onlu uploading images trought the CMS editor because its limited to image files only. How can I change it or does there exist a upload module for files ?
