Hi, trying to integrate prestashop with our system we have the problem that our id's on manufactures, products, categories are varchar, exists the possibility to change columns type to varchar or it will cause a corruption on the prestashop core? Best Regards

Hey i'm new to Prestashop and was looking for some guidance/suggestions on how to best achieve the following functionaility for a site when placing an order or if some modules already existed that can achive this with a bit of tinkering. I'm running Prestashop 1.5.x and what to achive the following user story. ------------------------ During the order process the client has the option of ordering products through a "reseller" of the "PrestashopStore". -The order is placed by the client at the prices of the "PrestashopStore". -The client has the option to select and make his purchase through a reseller during the checkout phase meaning the reseller will handle the order and not the "PrestashopStore" -In this case the client will not be required to pay online yet the checkout will proceed and the client will receive two emails ---- First email saying the order has been registered and taken into account by the "PrestashopStore" ---- Second email tied to the order invoice of the reseller (with a pre-formatted email with all the resellers coordinates/info) -This second email is also sent to the "reseller" so that they can treat the order manually based on the information in the email -In order to place an order using a "reseller" option the client must nevertheless have an account created on the "PrestashopStore" In terms of back-end admin functionality, there will therefore obviously need to be a status distinction between orders placed and paid for directly through the "PrestashopStore" and those where the "reseller" option is selected and the payment does not take place through the website directly but where the order info is simply "forwarded" via email to the "reseller". Also worth noting is there is no need for stock management involving resellers so stock should not be worried about. ------------------------ So do any Presta devs have any advice/recommendations on how one should go about achieving this? Maybe someone has done something similar in the past or there are modules out there that already achieve this sort of thing? eg. combining http://addons.presta...ent-module.html with something like this for the emailing functionlity http://addons.presta...opshipping.html or this http://addons.presta...der-emails.html ??? Or can the base default Prestashop 1.5.x functionality cater to this sort of scenario by specifying multiple suppliers, transport carriers, order statuses, payment types, invoice slips etc.? Can resellers even be compared to suppliers in terms of how they're setup in prestashop? Any suggestions are much appreciated...

Hi All, I want to add a new product type "Vehicles" in admin section of prestashop and display those products separetely on front end. Can anyone help me out for this? Thanks in advance.

Bonjour à tous, Dans le but d'insérer un calendrier datepicker à un champ de personnalisation, j'ai transformé le textarea en input. En version 1.5.4.1 tout fonctionnait parfaitement mais depuis la mise à jour vers la version 1.5.6.2, lors de l'ajout au panier, un message d'erreur me demande de renseigner les champs requis à la personnalisation. Or, ce champ est déjà renseigné car il ré-affiche la valeur sélectionnée précédemment. Si je repasse ce champ en textarea, il n'y a plus de problème. Je pense donc que le souci est lié au type de champ mais pour datepicker, il me faut un champ input et non textarea. Avez-vous une solution à me suggérer ??? Le problème vient-il vraiment du type de champ ??? Merci d'avance

Hi, Please help me introduce 2 new column with products "Type" and "Base" / "Combination" in Catalog > Products [ attached image ] It is very time efficient, when working with many Combinations of same Product, to see the Type and Combination. Highly recommended. I am on PS 1.5.2. Many thanks, r

Bonjour, Je teste actuellement prestashop et je bute sur un point précis dans l'intégration d'un design, j'aurais donc souhaité obtenir des informations quant à la faisabilité de mon besoin dans prestashop. Le problème auquel je fais fasse est le suivant, j'ai pour mon site 3 type de pages nécessitant des design très différent: - La page d'accueil devrait contenir une image sur toute la largeur et deux produits mis en avant en dessous - Les pages CMS devraient avoir une colonne gauche avec la liste des autres pages enfants de la même catégorie - Le catalogue, ses listes de produits et ses produits devraient contenir une colonne gauche avec la liste des catégories du catalogue Le header et le footer restant identique. De plus, évidemment, la page contact devra se débarrasser de la colonne de gauche. Il se pourrait également que certaines pages ait besoin d'une colonne droite. J'avoue être un peu perdu avec le système de thème et template de prestashop, je ne vois pas comment réaliser ce genre de demande à moins de créer un hook "body" après le header, et avant le footer, et d'assigner mes colonnes et contenu à ce hook en fonction des besoins. Une telle solution semble vraiment trop contraignante pour un besoin si simple, et celà m'obligerait à réassigner "manuellement" (via mon module) tous les modules greffé dans le backend de prestashop aux différents hook graphique existants. Y a-t-il une possibilité plus simple de créer des types de template global (1 colonne, 2 colonnes, 3 colonnes, CMS, Catalogue, whatever) ? Quelle serait la bonne méthode à utiliser pour ce genre de besoin d'après vous ?
