Hello, well i use PrestaShop™ 1.5.4.1 and i have the common problem with these links (Specials, New products, etc.) The thing is that i have tried everything: 1) I erased the lines where are located in the blockcms.tpl 2) I commented the lines ( <!-- --> ) in the blockcms.tpl 3) I deleted and uploaded again the file 4) I changed the options in the Performance / Cache and Recompile NOTHING happened... The links are still there The only thing i didn't tried, is to upload the file through FTP, i used the Cpanel all the time to edit the file Please i need your HELP That is the site http://www.e-liniko.com/ I don't know if it matters that the template is from TemplateMonster

Hello, On my home page, I have configured my home page to display the top sellers block in the left column that comes with PS 1.6.0.5. However, there are 6 products shown, where I only want to display 3 or 4 best selling products. I can not simply change this number in the top sellers module. Can somebody help me out and show me in which part of the code I could change this number? Thanks, Vicef

Hi, I have a problem with the "top seller" on my homepage. The item is the first thing I used as a test sale when checking the live shop. I have since changed the item's image, so now I have the product description with a grey question mark instead of the product photo which looks awful. I thought this might change to something else after processing some sales, but it has stayed the same. I have sold several of one particular item, and would have thought the Top Seller on the homepage would rotate to reflect an item with the highest quantities of sales. Any ideas how to get rid of it and change it to another product? I am using version 1.0.6.8, with the Simplo theme. Thanks for any advice Stephanie

Hello everyone, while playing with a test upgrade version of my live store, upgraded to 1.6, I noticed a few bugs and functions that seem rather suboptimal to me: - the best sellers tab on homepage and block on column work fine, they do display the most sold products from the shop, but when you click on the "all best sellers" button, the page displays the newest best sellers first, not the items that were sold most - it also shows all 600 products from the shop, not limited to say the best 25 or 100 products - there should be some sort of limitation because showing 600+ (or thousands for a large shop) looks a bit ridiculous - also, with so many products in the list, clicking "show all" crashes the website, it causes a 500 server error - sorting by lowest prices or highest prices does not work - some products (maybe 1%) are displayed as having a price of 0,00 instead of their real price, but if you add them to the cart, the correct price is added Some of this looks like outright bugs to me, some of it was maybe not entirely thought through (like having no max best-sellers limitation). Is anyone else having these issues, and what to you think? Is there a best-sellers module out there that can replace the default best sellers module? I know Vekia had a module like this for 1.5, to show best sellers on the homepage, so maybe there is a solution for 1.6 as well? Kind regards, Dan

The best sellers block seems to not have the option in the admin area to select how many products will appear when using it. I'm curious as to where I would get started in changing the amount of products it displays from the standard 6 to maybe 2 or 3. Anyone know what file I would modify to achieve this? I would greatly appreciate any guidance, as I'm still getting acclimated with PrestaShop's MVC style folder & framework structure. Thanks in advance. I appreciate it.

Bonsoir à tous et merci d'avance pour votre aide. Je patauge depuis 2 ou 3 jours sur cette maudite traduction qui à tendance à m’exaspérer un peu, enfin beaucoup même. Dans le footer bloc INFORMATION ---> TOP SELLERS impossible à le traduire en français (MEILLEURES VENTES) voir le fichier attaché. Pourtant j'ai bien vérifier les fichiers de traduction ainsi que sur le BO mais rien ne change. Savez vous ou puis je trouver le fichier à traduire svp ?? Merci.

Hola a todos Llevo unas semanas iniciándome en el mundo de prestashop preparando una tienda online de libros. Todo iba bien hasta que he tenido un problema con el módulo cstopseller. El módulo en cuestión estaba funcionando perfectamente, hasta que comenzó a aparecer como pueden ver en la imagen adjunta, con el mensaje "no product", en lugar de desplegar los libros en cuestión. Debería quedar así: http://demo.presthemes.com/#line. He reinstalado y reiniciado el módulo, he reinstalado el archivo bestsales.tpl, pero no se me ocurre nada más, quizá haya modificado otro archivo que ha trastocado el resto. También, no sé si tendrá que ver, el importador de temas no me funciona. Al intentar cargar me dice "configuración de archivo errónea". Muchas gracias por sus consejos Editado: esta es la web

Hello, i have just created my first PrestaShop site and i have an issue i was hoping somebody might be able to assist with. I have noticed that only the first of the top sellers includes a thumbnail image of the product and the next ones only have the product name. Maybe this is the way it is by design but it does not look right to me and i was hoping some one might be able to assist. Hello, my website is www.cgames.lt. I would like to improve the homepage of my site. For now only "Specials" block is in a homepage. It is a module, created by the creator of this design and is being hooked to "Top of pages". I would like few other modules: New products, Top sellers and Featured products created exactly the same as Specials block., so that they would be hooked the same as Specials. If I am correct, Specials block module can be copied and the content replaced with an information respectively to a specific block. (I assume Top Sellers, Specials, New products are pretty much the same, so there would not be a big problem..) I am attaching a picture, created by paint with the visual look. Maybe anyone is interested in doing it? ) Looking forward to hearing from you guys

Currently there are only "Specials" and "Featured products", I would like to add "Top Sellers" and "New products". Maybe anyone could help me how to do that? Thank you in advance

Hello everyone. I hope you can help me once again with the site I'm building and I thank you in advance for all the support you give us everyday. Now to my problem. The products on the site I'm building often have the very same name and they differ from some details explained in the short and long descriptions, so from a list of product or from a search it's impossible to distinguish them. And most importantly, I can't distinguish them from the "New Order" email that I receive when someone makes an order, because in that email only the name of the product is shown. Basically, there's 5 different places I'd like to show the descriptions in. 1) Product page 2) Featured products on the homepage 3) New products block 4) Top sellers block 5) Search results page 6) New Order email template Now, I've managed to make this work in the product page, in the new products block and in the featured products block, but I can't seem to find a way to do it with the other 3 places. I added this line to "blocknewproducts.tpl" to make the descriptions show in the new products block: <div align="center" class="item-desc"><a href="{$product.link}">{$product.description_short|strip_tags:'UTF-8'|truncate:75:'...'}</a><br /></div> {if $product.description}<div align="center" class="item-desc"><a href="{$product.link}">{$product.description|strip_tags:'UTF-8'|truncate:75:'...'}</a><br /></div>{/if} That works. Unfortunately, only the short description works for the top sellers block and the search results list, that is I can't display the long descriptions at all in those cases. Most importantly, I'd like to add the descriptions next to the product name in the "new_order.html", otherwise I could not distinguish the products when I receive an order. Please, could help you help me with following issue: On home page i have featured product and bellow this modul i would like to have also all new products or top sellers products. (principle should be the same) New products and top sellers are modules which is not possible to move into central column on home page. Bonjour, j'ai modifié l'affichage des prix en BO pour utiliser le point au lieu de la virgule pour séparer les centimes, ca fonctionne à merveille, sauf pour un module: dans le module meilleures ventes, les articles affichés affichent un prix € 0.00 Tous les autres modules fonctionnent parfaitement avec ce changement, sauf celui-là - et j'en ai malheureusement besoin. J'ai essayé de vider le cache, activé force compile, CTRL+R, sans effet. Quelqu'un a une idée de la cause et de la solution éventuelle? Merci d'avance pour votre aide! Daniel
