Hi, I am a newbie for Prestashop eCommerce CMS. Personally, I have some experience regarding WordPress woocommerce. I have made a PrestaShop website based on an online theme. When I inspect the theme, I found it is very interesting. The CSS file is dynamic under theme folder/assets/cache/dynamic name.css. Can anyone explain to me how this happened? I believe the real CSS file is at theme folder/assets/field-css/field_css.css. Just wondering How can I modify the theme CSS files?

Bonjour, je suis toujours un peu novice même si j'avance doucement sur ce super produit. Je ne sais pas ce que j'ai bricolé …… mais quand j'analyse ma page avec "firebug", je vois qu'il y a un fichier "theme7.css" qui est appelé dans la page en cherchant j'ai bien vu que ce fichier était dans modules/themeconfigurator/css comment supprimer l'appel de ce fichier, pour que mon site retrouve son environnement de base ? je ne vois pas ou dans la partie "admin/préferences/theme" j'ai paramétrer cet appel ? merci

I have made some changes in my front store theme css (i.e. categoty.css file ). But when I check in view source it is still showing me old css. I tried 2 things below:(Prestashop V 1.5.6.1) 1) From Advanced Parameters -> Performance -> Cleared smarty cache & autoload cache. by using force compilation option also. 2) Deleted cache folder. But these 2 options did not work for me. Then I checked the header details of category.css file. And I found the status code of this file as Status Code: 304 Not Modified Any help will be appreciated.

Hi All - I have a very odd issue, and thus far I have done everything everyone (at least the info I found) told me to do that should resolve this. This is PrestaShop 1.5.4.1. The issue is that my themes global css changes are not showing. In this case specifically the width and height css for hte header logo. 1 - I have set, via the back office, to force compile & disabled cache 2 - I have tried deleting the files from the smarty cache (which had no files other then index) and compile. Also deleted the "tmp" images. The smarty debug console shows me that smarty for the logo is as such: $logo_image_height: -> Value = "111" (Note - I never set this value...ever) ->nocache = false (Shouldn't this be true?!?) -> scope = "Smarty root" Same stuff for $logo_image_width, except the value is "222" - also I have never set the value equal to this. Finally - I also tried to change the logo via the back office to be a png file (was a jpg)...this change has also not taken! Any thoughts? Definitely stuck... dont know what else I could try here.
