Hi all, I added a new language to our webshop and changes some texts and modules, but now the following strange thing is going on: I only see the English text of the footer sometimes, but it is not permanent there in English when I choose the English language in the left uppercorner. For example, when I go to the homepage www.ropachica.com; select English; scroll down to the end; the text (Condiciones de compra; Aviso Legal etc; tienda online") is still in Spanish. But when I for example go to our website; homepage; BLOG; and I scroll then down to the footer when on the BLOG page, all of a sudden the English text (Purchasing conditions, Legal Notice, Online shop") is there. Hope this explains my problem a bit. Does anyone maybe know how to fix this?

Hi all, hope someone can help me out. On our website www.ropachica.com, when you select the English language in the upper left corner, the categories at the footer of out homepage don't show in English (while we have translated them in English in the CMS part of the backoffice. For example, we have translated the entire Condiciones de compra, Aviso legal etc). As you can see in the picture below, the headers (CONTACT, SUPPORT, ABOUT, NEWSLETTER) show in English, but all that is below the headers shows still in Spanish. Also, when I click on them, it does not direct me to the correct page. For example, when I click on "avisio legal" it shows the homepage again instead of the Legal Notice page. Does anyone know how to solve this? Kind regards, Maran

Hello, I tried to translate my website in so many ways without success... What I did? - From the Admin site: I went to International > Translations > Add or Update a Language. I added Spanish, cleaned all caches etc and nothing happened. - I download the Spanish PS and replace the xlf found in app\Resources\translations\es-ES\ Nothing happened - i went to the DDBB, I manually translate all tables with _lang in their title to Spanish, clean all caches (even the browser cache), recompiled the PS and nothing... Buenas tardes, ¿Que themes me podeis recomendar para Prestashop 1.7? Es una tienda de hogar, jardín, calefacción... He de decir que no me importa que sea de paga, lo máximo que me gustaría gastarme son 70€ (OJO, si es un buen theme me da igual pagar 75, 80) A ser posible que esté disponible para comprar en EnvatoMarket (Themeforest) Muchas gracias, Un saludo.

No se si esta pregunta está bien por aquí. Compré la plantilla Jms pet y dice que estaba traducida al español pero no se traduce. Hay módulos que salen como traducidos y realmente no lo están. Adjunto imagen. A alguien le pasó y sabe cómo solucionarlo. Entiendo que si esta traducida no debe hacerse manual. Que habrá otra manera. Gracias.

Hello, I'm in the progress of releasing some modules and I'm in the consideration of integrating Catalan with them. I have a native catalan speaker who would offer the modules and documentation in catalan language. I need to know if there are people interested in this, so please if you are, put your vote in. Also, I would offer support in catalan, if this is of big interest and english is a bad choice for you. I need to consider this though, so I need your opinion about it on the vote. Thank you! -
Hello, My prestashop instalation will not allow users to register their address. This is a screenshot of the current view, as you can see the States (Estados) combobox will not load any of the states on the backoffie. I looked around the forums and just found a bug that was supposed to be fixed in 1.4. Other than that I dont know where to start looking to fix this. Any kind of clue would be useful. Thank you.

Spanish translation is very inaccurate. I translated whole aplication (including email templates), but when I updated to 1.4.5 I lost my translation partially, specially in modules (despite checked the option "keep translations"), so I have translated it again, and I have posted it in the bug tracker hoping to be included in future releases. I post it here for people who want to try it. Note: extract .gzip file inside .zip before import (I can't upload .gzip files, so I have added .gzip file into .zip file) es.zip

Hey everyone, I am having a bit of an issue that I am trying to sort out. On our "Contact Us" section of the website we wanted to input a small bit in Spanish for our Spanish speaking customers. I have hard coded the Spanish accent codes in the past using the entity codes for the characters (ie: ó and ñ). For some reason when I am trying to code it in the "contact-form.tpl" it is either showing up wrong or not at all. I have made sure that the file itself states Unicode UTF-8. Here is the code I am working with: Original attempt: <p class="bold">Para español, marque la extensión # 233</p> Adjusting the code: <p lang="es" xml:lang="es">Para español, marque la extensión # 233</p> I have imported the Spanish localization pack in the back office, as well as enabled Spanish under the Languages tab with success. I am just having a difficult time getting the code to show and display properly. It has been a good long while since I have done any language switching code so I am very rusty (probably missed something super simple). I should also point out that when I test the code it seems to be working, just is not displaying properly. Thanks in advance, J Dub -
Hi there! I was updating a Prestashop v1.2.5 to v1.5.6 First, I updated to v1.4.6, then to v1.5.6 It was important to keep the customers and orders. For the update from v1.2.5 to v1.4.6 I used the install wizard and choosed "update". For the update from v1.4.6 to v1.5.6 I updated the database with /install/upgrade/upgrade.php script. Then I installed v1.5.6 from scratch and imported the database. It worked so far, but a problem occured: When I try to click the link to the cart, the login to the customer account or a link in the block myaccountfooter, it tries to forward me to links like https://quick-order, https://account, https://historial-de-pedidos/ or https://devolucion-de-productos/ I have no idea where the spanish comes from. So I looked to SEO&URL and in the first table are these URL's (attached file). Even if I change ”Friendly URL" or try to reach the page by typing the adresses to the browser e.g. https://myshopname.com/my-account the page could not be found. It seems like no cart or account page exist. Could somebody help me? I'm really desperated und frustrated. Thanks. BTW: I'm using the theme ”Magari"by tooniu.

Estimados, resulta que estoy haciendo una web en un servidor virtual WAMP, y he hecho un formulario personalizado en HTML, mismo que deseo cargar en una nueva página CMS, entonces, cuando pego mi contenido HTML, y le doy a guardar, siempre me aparece el siguiente error: El campo contenido (Spanish (Español)) no es válido. He intentado todo, desde cambiar el Validate.php, el form.tpl, el supplier.php, ya que he revisado foros en inglés, y recomendaban esos cambios. Igual he tratado de poner tinyMCE, pero igual, el error persiste. Alguien puede ayudar, tengo la versión PS 1.5.5.0 Gracias de antemano.

So i chose spanish as the language for my shop, nevertheless i have content in english in the font office! back office works fine, its all in spanish... do anyone knows why this happens?? thanks! -
Buenos días Tengo una tienda prestashop 1.5.4.1 actualizada a día de hoy, pero usando un tema personalizado, que es una copia del tema default con modificaciones. El problema es que los mensajes de la "parte principal" de la tienda están en inglés y no se ponen en español. Me refiero a cosas como los mensajes de las páginas de categorías, todo el proceso de registro de clientes, todo el proceso de compra, el formulario de contactos, etc. Los bloques de los diferentes módulos sí se ven en español. - He probado a usar el tema default y también se ve en inglés - He probado a sobreescribir el archivo /translations/es.gzip con el de una instalación nueva, y no ha habido cambios - He borrado la caché de smarty y tampoco .. ¿Que más puedo probar? ¿Donde se almacenan las traducciones de todo esto? GRACIAS

Hola, es mi primer proyecto en Prestashop y estoy utilizando el theme Matrice. para la versión 1.3.7. No se como cambiar las palabras CART, VIEW y CHECKOUT que aunque seleccione español como idioma, estos términos y algún otro se mantienen en inglés. Tengo algo mas de experiencia en WordPress y creo que si fuese un theme WP conseguiría solucionarlo, pero aquí ando algo perdido por el momento. Igual alguien que haya utilizado este theme me puede orientar sobre como traducir estas palabras. Un saludo. -
La traducción al español es muy muy pobre, sobretodo en los módulos. Tenía todo traducido perfectamente en mi versión 1.4.4, pero al actualizar a 1.4.5 perdí muchas traducciones a pesar de marcar la opción "Mantener traducciones" en la pestaña Actualizar. He vuelto a traducir todo correctamente (salvo algunos módulos que no uso, y que no creo que nadie use en España) y lo he posteado en el bug tracker para ver si lo añaden a la siguiente versión para que no pase lo mismo. También he puesto una copia en la sección inglesa del foro. Dejo aquí una copia para el que quiera probarla, las sugerencias y correcciones serán bienvenidas. Saludos. Nota: el foro no me deja subir archivos .gzip, así que he metido el archivo en un .zip; antes de poder importarlo desde el Front-Office debéis extraer el .gzip del .zip es.zip
