Hi, I can't find a way to make new paragraphs space to work. This is my blog https://snimam.net/blog In all articles I can't use <br> or <p> they disappear and no space between both rows appear. It is very frustrating I can't make space between text and photo or leave white space between two photos. Prestashop 1.7.6.5 with YBC blog

Salve a tutti, sto cercando di capire quale hosting sia il migliore per ospitare un sito e-commerce PrestaShop. Sono speranzoso nel ricevere consigli e/o pareri.

Hi, I have found that Bing is adding a space in the url (sitemap.xml) that is not present in the XML uploaded. It reports 503 when crawling, because Prestashop returns a "not found" 404 error. When using friendly urls (SEO enabled) in Prestashop, you can type: http://www.anyshop.c...escription.html and it will show the product, in Firefox, if you type the same with an space in the end like "http://www.anyshop.com/category/001-product-description.html " Firefox will remove it and you will see the product as it has to. But if you type in the url-encoded way (%20, space) "http://www.anyshop.com/category/001-product-description.html%20" then the server will understand that space and it will redirect you to it will redirect to http://www.anyshop.c...controller=404. I assume this is an error caused by the .htaccess file that Prestashop generates. This is the sitemap url I use, as an example, and I do not add spaces <url> <loc>http://www.anyshop.com/shop/cars/754-product-description--1H2--1-6.html</loc> <lastmod>2013-01-01</lastmod> <changefreq>monthly</changefreq> <priority>1.0</priority> </url> Is that a bug, or miss-configuration ? Kind regards,

Hi, This might be a simple question to answer for most of you, but right now it would help me really a lot! We are hosting our prestashop eCommerce store on shared hosting. (With about 2000 products). We started with a plan of 1.5GB space, and now are hosting on a plan with 9.5 GB space. (We are getting choked now with space, even the 9.54 GB of pace isn't enough for 2000 products). We are mainly concentrating on Drop Shipping and sell some of our own products too. We propose to add new products and make the available catalog to 10,000 products soon. My question is how much space would we require to have that many products? Your suggestion would be really helpful to us. Thanks in advance. Regards, Yo Mir

My category pages are pulling the category title and making them the <h1> tag. However they are inserting a space right at the beginning of the tag. For instance. http://www.homeschool-shelf.com/en/57-lifepac Category name is Lifepac h1 tag is forming as <h1> Lifepac</h1> How can I remove this space. I am looking at the categroy.tpl file and find this code: {if isset($category)} {if $category->id AND $category->active} <h1> {strip} {$category->name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'} {if isset($categoryNameComplement)} {$categoryNameComplement|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'} {/if} {/strip} </h1> Is there something there that is inserting the space? Running 1.5.4.1 default template

Hi, I have limited space on server (who doesn't) and I can see that the images are consuming most of the space. I know that Prestashop is generating a lot of thumbnails of different sizes out of the original uploaded image, but whay does it keep the original image as well? Is there a way to get rid of it to save space? For example, for the product 100 I have the next images and I don't think I need the last one. 100-cart_default.jpg 100-home_default.jpg 100-large_default.jpg 100-medium_default.jpg 100-small_default.jpg 100-thickbox_default.jpg 100.jpg What do you think? Is there another way to save space on the images. Thanks!

Hi, I'd like to know if you have an add-on that allows me to implement the following functionality or if you could develop it for me? Context: Wholesaler e-commerce platform Explanation: While ordering on the platform, the customer needs to have some restrictions. He has to order a minimum volume and a maximum volume of products. The reason is because he has to fill in a container (90m3) and there is a minimum and maximum space available. I need therefore an add-on that gives a minimum and a maximum constraint to the customer. (min= 85% max= 95%). We still have a jquery plugin to show the filling of the container (by percentage). This plugin could be integrated to the module. Could you forward me a cost-estimate for this add-on? Thank you in advance for your help, Kind regards,

Hello, I have disabled the left and right colomns on the front page of the shop. Now the homefeatured module and the blocknewproducts gave a lot of empty space. Thanks to a tip from Vekia elsewhere on this forum, I could repair homefeatured. But blocknewproducts is still showing a lot of space below. (yes I deleted the cache files...) Also the line-up is in both the modules a bit messy since then, please take a look at the page. How can I repair this? I have looked everywhere, but with no results. Thanks in advance. Marcel

Hi everyone, With the use of the tutorial written by Vekia to make a fixed header, and the solutions provided here on the forum regarding the firefox-issue I was able to make my header fixed. Regarding this I have two questions. I am now looking for a way to make the distance between the horizontal menu and the body/content a little bit smaller, but I do not know where to edit the code for it. So my first question is: How do I change this? My second question is: How can I add a picture to the fixed header? Before I made a fixed header I used a module to add/change background (the backgound was transparant and now it is white). The picture I use was only a small banner in the middle and at the top of my pages, which you can see in the clone site mentioned hereunder. site with fixed header: http://www.asadin.nl/presta/ clone site without fixed header and little banner: http://www.products24.nl/presta/

My shop seems to always put a space between the pound symbol and the price (I haven't got any other currencies so I can't check them), so instead of '£11.86' it's '£ 11.86'. Not a major problem, but a little bit annoying, anyone know the cause and fix? It's not a problem with the theme as it does it in the default theme as well. Thanks, Josh.

Hi, I've spent several hours now trying to get rid of a mysterious space right after the <div id="center_column"> tag on the product page. See here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5798631/space.png I have not made any changes to PHP files. It has nothing to do with the header.tpl file since it only gets added on the Product page. I've even tried to exclude the breadcrumb.tpl file and I've left the product.tpl file completely blank and the space was STILL there! Where else could this piece of empty space come from? Hope you guys can help me to solve this mystery

Ever since I started with PrestaShop, the default has been for the header logo to be locked against the left-column menu -- there's no space between them. I want to add space to make it look better. How would I do that? Does anybody know? Thanks in advance.
