Hi when i try to open module configuration and general setting i m always linked to admin login page. What can i do?

Hi, I want to add translation support for my field in configure area in module and services section. I am using prestashop version 1.6.x and I made change as per other modules and below documentation link. http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Making+your+module+work+with+Bootstrap I am able to see field and multiple languages translation drop down option as per attach image. But after saving field data not getting saved. It shows empty fields. Below is my code. I've set up a new store (ver 1.7.6.8) using the Classic theme (It does have a custom child theme, but that is not overriding any of the purchase template files). I used the Import feature to bring in categories and products from an existing Loaded Commerce store. As far as I can tell, all of that went great, but for every single product the "ADD TO CART" button has the "disabled" attribute added to it: <button class="btn btn-primary add-to-cart" data-button-action="add-to-cart" type="submit" disabled=""> <i class="material-icons shopping-cart"></i> Add to cart </button> Looking for suggestions. This is the first PrestaShop site I've built, and I suspect there is some checkbox somewhere I am missing.

Hello, I need a little help setting up a new back office tab. I wanted to add a new tab to the back office so that I can quickly go to the settings of my blog module. I have found a few other posts about this however when I tried to do it the first time I totally broke the site, after fixing everything I tried again with undesirable results again. So I am reaching out to the community for a better understanding of how to do this, I know from my searches that I am not the only one who wishes to understand this in a detailed way so I figured I would try and post about this process. I'm not sure where to put my question. For some reason when you enter the web-address in the address-bar, it changes to ex.: web-address.com --> web-address.com/www.web-address.com/ I am unable to log into BO so I have only ftp and DB access. Anyone who can guide me how to address this problem? What can I do to stop adding to the already written url? or at least overwrite it! Thanks in advance

I would like to have Prestashop on my local computer and online at the same level. Therefore I would like to download or upload the software. Is it possible to define Prestashop environments and different domains (e.g. prestashop.localhost and www.myliveprestashop.com) and database settings? With most solutions the environment is specified in the .htaccess file and the settings of the environment are loaded. There is config_dev.yml config_prod.yml under the folder app/config. Is that what these files are for? How can I solve the problem?

Hi guys! I'm trying to edit my prestashop site on localhost, unfortunately it takes really too much for edit and most of the FO takes around 2-3mins to be loaded in localhost. Since it cant be my pc ( CPU: Ryzen 7 200x, RAM: 32gb) i think there's must be something on php.ini configuration or apache setting i'm doing wrong.. Can you guys give me the best settings i should set for makes wamp/xampp or whatever works better? It cant be that slow... thanks in advance!

Hello, we have another issue, we have set that customers can order a product also if is out of stock, in Shop Parameters > Products > Order out of stock allowed but it doesn't work. We have also checked directly on the Database table and the value is "1" Where's the problem ? Thanks in advance Pat

Hello, I try to configure email settings to use it with a SMTP server. Mail domain name: BLANK SMTP server: MY SSL SMTP SERVER/ my unencryped SMTP server SMTP user: my email address SMTP password: my email password Encryption: SSL (tryed with ssl, tls and none) Port: SSL/Non SSL port I tryed all varinats and seems to not work. I enabled debug in defines.inc.php and there is no error in front or back office. "A test email has been sent to the email address you provided." but never received. Today I overridden all files with the archive original prestashop 1.5.6.2 and nothing I just have noticed if I define a SSL SMTP server and add SSL port, in the server configuration file is not updated. When trying to edit products in version 1.7.3.2 I am getting the error "unable to update settings" I constantly get this problem. Especially when doing bulk edits. Is there a fix or something to solve this problem? I downloaded from cpanel's installatron if that makes a difference. I saw others with the same issue, but no fix as of late. Anything would help...thanks.

Hey, I have a gig to check a store that was created 2 years ago, it turned out that it was not completely properly configured, I assume that there was some shop which was copied by the company with all settings thru all integrations. I made the necessary updates (to 1.6.1.17) and for plugins. I restored almost all functionalities and I've found strange things like, for example, someone created country as a separate continent (probably didn't know how to filter shop availiability). The problem that I have is related with the carrier provider that is not appearing on the carriers list (InPost). I have installed the new presta on a separate server in the same version (1.6.1.17) and there inPost appears correctly. I looked for errors in the template, so I exported it from this newly installed presta, still without effect. This is why I assume that the problem lies in the configuration of settings, markets, ... Is there any tool to export / compare all the settings from 2 stores to narrow down the search? I do not have any ideas how to continue this. Thanks D.

Ok I'm using ptestashop 1.6 but for some reason! when editing the image-slider settings they are not updating... I set the "Maximum image width" from 779 to 1170, "Speed" from 500 to 600 and "Pause" from 3000 to 6000 pressed save and it said settings updated but it put them back to default settings.

Hi all, I've just purchased a secondary domain from my webhost. Instead of utilising it as a parked domain, I'm looking to make this new domain, my primary domain. My webhost stated that in order to do this (and because I have prestashop), they will need to charge me 70 dollars to do this for me (updating the settings on prestashop etc etc). I was just wondering if this is something I could do myself? I just want this new domain to lead to my website as the primary domain. Ora però il problema si presenta anche nel tentativo di attivare l'opzione SSL e spuntando il sì mi viene confermato l'aggiornamento come se tutto fosse OK, ma di fatto però non cambia nulla. Our current shopping cart allows customers to view in specified currencies but at checkout and beyond it uses the default currency. For example, a customer can view prices in dollars, but will be charged in pounds sterling because that is the default currency of the store. Is this how Prestashop's currency default works or is the currency used to view also used to pay at checkout? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I've upgraded prestashop from 1.5.x to 1.6 recently, and after setting up everything that I need, I'm running into trouble with the image generation for all categories. I've selected "Use PNG for all images". I've never even looked back, until I found out that there are no PNG images being generated - it's all jpeg. I tried changing some of the manufacturers base images to PNG (uploaded an actual PNG file, renamed it to the original filename: 1.png for example), and after the regeneration - I see the files removed, and I see no files created. SO: It either generates jpegs (from jpegs) or it generates nothing (from png manually uploaded to server). Note: - The source images are all jpg. - Caching in any form is off - I've tried (FTP) replacing the 1.jpg with a 1.png (renaming the 1.jpg to 1.jpg.old), and nothing was generated. Any idea how I can kick prestashop in the right spot, to start generating PNGs? This will save me gigabytes of disk storage. Thanks, Erik

Hallo, we have two questions please : We've installed the latest Paypal version 3.8.1 and we are using 1.4.7 PS version 1) Why in the Back Office we still see the warning yellow signal, like we have to set something else, but we don't have any further message that could help us, and also at the end of settings we saw the message (Done, now you could receive paypal payments) like it was always correct. 2) How works the "express payment" (now is set to NO), because it seems to bypass the login page so it seems to allow an order without create an account, is it possible ?
