Hi all. Sorry, maybe it was discussed many times before, but I can't find a simple ready-made solution. My situation is followin: We sell wine bottles. For instance the product itself it's a wine "Lafite Rothschild 2010". Then same wine could have different bottle sizes, e.g. 75cl, 150cl, 300cl, etc. Then we can sell wines in loose bottles, or in cases. Cases could be different sizes: Case of 3 btls, Case of 6, 12, 24... Originally I set up bottle size and case size as attributes. But the issue is that is someone buys 4 cases of 12, it's not so obvious how many bottles purchased. Especially when several bottle sizes/wines in the basket. So it would be great to have some Unit of measure settings, where I could create an entity e.g. "Case of 6" and specify how many usual bottles are in. Any suggestions or links to the exact modules ? Thanks guys!

Hi everyone, I searching for a module for commissions the module must allow me to pay a sales commission (fixed amount for each sale) of a specific product that is different for each "customer" account. I'll explain: I will make graphic contests on the products that will be printed, the participants will send their proposals and the best ones will be chosen to be printed and sold. for each sale the illustrator will earn a fixed amount and obviously must be able to monitor the sale of his graphics. I thought the marketplace formula might be fine, but products don't have to be entered directly by illustrators. commissions must be paid every 15 days and will only be recognized when the product is delivered. Which module can I use? If there is no one who can do this for me? thanks to everyone

We are having some trouble with sale items on our site. Our original developers set the site up with a "clearance" page (inessa.com/clearance). It functions properly, automatically showing any item with a reduced price. But we are now finding that because of the size of the site, and the number of items on the page, the load time is getting out of hand. We have two options: Integrate the pagination feature of a normal category (http://www.inessa.com/antique-chandeliers-60), something our new DEV team says will cost $1600 and two weeks of work. Or the second option I was thinking was to just create a new "Clearance" category and add all the on-sale items to it. Problem being, there are several hundred on-sale items, and I can't think of a good way to round them all up to create this category. If anyone has a tip on how to perform either option, I'd be extremely grateful.

Hello Guys, Just wanted to ask for a way on how to make product sale on a specific SKU with a lot of product combinations. Ex., Product 1 has also 7 product combination but i wanted to sale just 1 item, so 6 other products has the original price but 1 product has sale price in the same group. Please help me with this. I've been searching for a solution for this for a day but not yet found some. Thank you,

Hi, I am finding a bug in 1.7.4. I have done the following: Tested the issue in Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Opera Testing the issue by disabling the option for guest check out Stopped an ad blocking software from running in the browser Whitelisted the url in my firewall Tested the issue using my mobile device and turning-off WiFi The bug regards the check out form. User will enter their information as a guest on the first page once they click 'continue' they will not progress to enter their address information. If they have stored their information and try to log in their information will not populate. Basically the individual cannot complete their order. I have found a workaround which involves enabling catalog mode under Configure>Shop Parameters>Product Settings>Product (General)>Catalog>Yes This will remove the 'Proceed to Checkout' and places the payment options available. However, the individual is not able to select shipping method and is forced to accept the default method for their location. Plus this only works for a single item and will not allow the customer to purchase multiple items. Please advise how to get the check out form to work correctly.

I'm new to PrestaShop, and my first sale has just ended, but the products that were on sale still show the 'on sale' banner across the top of them even though the prices have returned to normal and the sale is no longer on. Even if I delete the price adjustment parameters in the product information, the 'on sale' banner remains. Please help.

Hello, I have question: All employes goes on summer vacation for a period of 1 - 2 weeks and is necessary to disable the possibility of purchases during this period for customers. The shop works at the Prestashop 1.6.14. "Maintenance Mode" doesn't approach since in this mode the shop completely is deactivated and customers will misunderstand it - like shop owner has serious problems (1 - 2 weeks is so long time for fully disabling shop). Maybe is present any function or module which deactivates only possibility of purchase but shop works like show-window (with or without little changes). I think that this question interests many Prestashop users especially before summer. I will be glad to any council or the recommendation. Best regards, SASS

Hello! I applied price reduction to a product on back office and suddendly all of my store went 50% off. There are lots of products that weren't even on sale, and if I browse their product sheet on backoffice there are no specific prices applied. But on the front office it shows all prices with 50% off anyway. Is this some kind of bug or override? How can I fix it? Seems like something is overriding the prices and set everything to 50% off... I've got the store down because I can't have aeverything with 50% discount. Any help would be great. Thanks a lot, best regards Nuno

Hello, I am trying to pass information about product sales in product.tpl. In example I want to show how much I sold of this item if the value is higher then 0. I tried to create override of ProductController.php and in initContent I created function isItBestseller() { $db = Db::getInstance(); $sql = 'SELECT quantity FROM '._DB_PREFIX_.'product_sale WHERE id_product = '.Tools::getvalue('id_product'); if ($salesNumber = Db::getInstance(_PS_USE_SQL_SLAVE_)->executeS($sql)) { return $salesNumber; } } and after that I put $this->context->smarty->assign("salesNumber", isItBestseller()); $this->setTemplate(_PS_THEME_DIR_.'product.tpl'); But when I try to {$salesNumber} then nothing happens. Ofcourse cache_index is cleared. When {$salesNumber|@print_r} it is always showing 1 Any help?

My site has about 150 items that I have set up as sale items, so I created a Catalog Rule a few months ago that gives 40% OFF any of our "Hot Buy" items. We now want to offer (via promo code) 40% OFF everything in our store to customers on our email list. I've created a Cart Rule with a promo code that we will use in our next constant contact email blast. The problem I'm having (and I'm sure I can't be the only one with this problem) is this . . . I can't the cart rule to override the catalog rule. It's wanting to take 40% off for the any of our Hot Buy items AND it applies another 40% on top of that when it applies the 40% Promocode. I can't see Hot Buys for 80% OFF. How do I tell a Cart Rule to "not combine" with a Catalog Price Rule? Lane

Hi, I want to make a price rule where all products in a category ends up with the same final price, even dough the products have various base prices. Prestashop only allows me to enter a reduction value or percentage to the base price, but I need to enter a final price instead. Any help will be highly appreciated !?

I am using prestashop 1.5.4, and currently facing this problem: Suppose i have a product named "Apple" which is belong to 2 categories (Fruit, and Sale) Since this product is on Sale, i have set up a special price via the Product (Back Office) > Specific Price. I also set up a cart rule concerning this product. This cart rule applies $5 discount on All products that belong to Fruit category. However, i do not want to give any discount to Product that is on Sale category. The reason behind having a specific category called "Sale" is because i want to have a dedicated page and menu that will list all of my product that i want to put on "Sale". I have tried to create cart rule, and exclude Sale category from the filter condition. But since This product is also listed on Fruit category, thus this cart rule still applicable for "Apple". How can i achieve this ?

Hi 2 All I am a fresh prestashop developer.I had a store in prestashop 1.6.In my sale page I want to display tabs as in home page (for new arrivals etc).These tabs will be for all my categories in an inline format.Upon clicking on each category its products will be show in the same page below with ajax.Then on clicking another will show its products. I had no idea how to do this.Kindly help me how to accomplish this task. regards;
