Hola, tengo un problema con las urls generadas en prestashop para los productos. No entiendo por qué se producen redirects hacia la url que añade dos secuencias de números x-x en medio de la url por defecto. Entiendo que la primera secuencia de números es el product id y creo que es parte del comportamiento base de prestashop, pero la siguiente secuencia no sé por qué se genera. Por ejemplo, tengo esta camiseta: https://12pulgadasbcn.com/en/long-sleeve-tshirts/4714-huf-phoenix-ls-tee.html Y esta url redirige a: https://12pulgadasbcn.com/en/long-sleeve-tshirts/4714-11856-huf-phoenix-ls-tee.html Que a su vez, tiene un canonical apuntando al primero: Tengo problemas para la indexación porque estamos mareando al robot y ya no sabe cuál es la url que ha de indexar. Hi everyone I have created a custom front controller. I have a button in the displayreassurance hook inside the product page that calls that front controller. I want to send the product data to that controller. $product = new Product( (int)Tools::getValue('id_product'), true, $this->context->language->id, $this->context->shop->id ); Media::addJsDef(array( 'product_name' => $product->name, )); If I write this in my front controller I get null. Any idea how I can get the product details in the front controller?

Hi I am using PS 1.6.0.14 and wish to change the order conf. email to customers. I need to add product ID and remove reference. I did look in the order_conf.html, and changed the label, but I don't know where to change what is displayed for {products}. So I hope someone can help.

Hi all, I need to get $product variable from a product Id on my tpl. I've tried smarty: {assign var=$product value=$banditQuotes[nr].quote_product_link} I've tried php on the page: <?php $product = new Product (int)$banditQuotes[nr].quote_product_link?> I've tried a function in the php controller page, that takes the id, and returns $product. {$product = quoteProduct($banditQuotes[nr].quote_product_link)} But none of these functions are recognised when loading the web page. Does anyone know how I can do this? I assume I can use the getProduct function somehow ? Thanks all! Simon

I am trying to insert the Order ID (not reference) {id_order} and Product ID {id_product} into my email confirmation. Neither one is being processed when the email is being sent. In both cases just the variable is showing in the email. Any ideas?

Hello everybody, i am using ps ver. 1.5.4.1 For my colleagues, which will insert and process the products in the Back office, i would like to allow them to force the id of the new inserted product. I mean i should give them an option to insert in the Catalog>Products>Information tab a custom id of the new product, which will be actually the id of this product in the database of our ERP system, so there is no risk of duplicating (as all the id's will be synchronized). I know how to do this (by csv import or by sql statement in the database), but they will not have this access. So after i import all of the products with proper id, i should give them an option to do that also for any new product, which they will insert through the ps module for inserting. So i will have to add a textbox for custom id and also to change the code for using the value of this textbox during the statement for inserting this new product. I think there is no problem to do this. I just need to know which files i need to change for achieving this result. Does anybody knows which files should be considered for this task. This will save me a lot of time for searching through the files. Thanks in advance.

Hello all. Does anyone know if there is a way or perhaps a module to send products to paypal checkout with a name different than the name assigned in the products section? I mean that say I set up a product called "15 units brown mens pants" and when it goes to paypal checkout I want it to be called simply "15 units brown", for example, or perhaps just the reference code "15BP"? This would make a useful module, btw! I'm running the latest 1.6 version of presta. Cheers!

Hello I just installed my new 1.6 prestashop. I had 1.4 version so i did everything manualy (new installation and adding again all products). Everything work ok but a (Price competitor site) asked me to send with the xml the same products id that the previous 1.4 version has. How can i manualy change all product id's? (in order to be the same with my previous presta? If i ll do this what you think? It will create other problems?

Hi Techies, I need to display Main Category Name in product.tpl page. In product.tpl page, I may have only product_id. Category Name to be displayed in product.tpl page by using product_id as variable. No need of sub categories. My Prestashop version is 1.5.6.2 Regards, Mohammed Usama

Witam, mam usunięte kilka produktów z katalogu, przez co ich numeracja jest przerwana (ID: 1, 2, 3,..., 5, 6, itd.). Chciałbym przywrócić numerację porządkową produktów dla łatwiejszego zarządzania sklepem. Próbowałem importować listę produktów plikiem CSV z odpowiednimi numerami ID ale produkty dopisało na końcu listy z numerami kolejnymi. Czy jest jakiś sposób zaimportowania produktu z konkretnym numerem ID lub edycji ID ostatniego produktu z listy, żeby wypełnić "luki" w numeracji?

Hello, I need to bulk uodate cost prices on our website. Eventually there will be over 20k products on the website and the cost prices will change frequently. I have tested and using CSV import with the product ID it is possible to update the cost/selling prices, so that is great. The problem I have will be that i have so many products it will be difficult to track which product has which ID as new products will be added frequently Ideally I would like to be able to use the stock code reference as the ID, this would make things much simpler. I tried this but the import failed. Stock codes will be are alphanumeric. Is it possible to allow the product ID to be alphanumeric? Thank you in advance for any help

In Magento the Product ID can be any combination of letters and numbers as long as it is unique. In Prestashop, the Product ID is a number. Does anyone know is it possible to change the product id to varchar? I have a database of products all with a unique sku. Some skus are letter/number combinations. I want to do pricing updates but to do that I need to use the product id. Pulling that id out of the shop and merging it with the database is difficult due to number of skus. Wondered if anyone has tried changing the product id to something other than a number?

Salut, Pour le moment pour personnaliser le contenu des templates je jongle entre. {if $page_name == 'XXX'} {/if} sur mon header.tpl et {if $category->id == XXX} {/if} sur mon product-list.tpl J'aimerais savoir s'il possible de faire de même pour les produits dans product-list.tpl style {if $product_id == 'XXX'}{/if} ? I have a custom module that is adding 2 more parameters to the query string, when Friendly URL is turned on. The RewriteRule does not translate the 2 parameters required by my module. Without Friendly URL, the query strings provide all the id numbers that I can use to tell which product & category I'm currently on. For example, index.php?pid=1223&cid=23 When Friendly URL is turned on, the Friendly URL plugin translates the pid & cid into names, so it will be easier to read on the search engine, but not programmer friendly. Session Variables may be an option but I'm not sure and am looking for suggestions... Does someone know how to retrieve those ids when Friendly URL is on? Thanks!
