Hi all, like in the title: my faceted search is showing on "home" products page but if I go to another category page I can see the products but no filtering options are available, "Filter by" title is showing and nothing more. Thanks in advance for your help. Simone

Hi Prestashop Community, This is my first question and probably not my last Our prestashop webshop is selling products in the Netherlands. We calculate 21% TAX and this all works fine Now we are adding Belgium and so far so good. We added a zone, a country, seperate transporter, extra VAT rule (also 21%) etc. it looks like everthing is good. But when i create a Belgium account and browse trough the products, everything is showing excluding VAT and i cant seem to find any solution after many frustrating hours of searching and testing. Do you guys have any solution to solve this problem?? Any more information required? Feel free to ask me. Thank you for your time in advance

Im new on PS and i`ve being working on a page and the client was asking to place the filters on top of the products, so i tried to use the hook positions and couldnt find any... but when i tried to place it back on the "Displayleftcolunm" it didnt show anymore i even reinicialized it and nothing. Hello, I have a module called ‘Mail alerts’ in my Prestashop 1.6 site. The module seems to be active (as it regularly sends emails to a specific email account). It also has its files and folders in my Prestashop installation in cPanel. However, the module in question is not visible under 'Modules'. I tried to filter by ‘Installed modules’/‘Uninstalled modules’, ‘Enabled’/’Disabled’, but the ‘Mail alerts’ module doesn't show up. Instead, when I go to ‘Modules’ list and search for it, it shows as available for install. The strangest thing is that I have a copy of the same Prestashop site (made with Softaculous on cPanel). The 'Mail alerts' module shows as installed on the copied site, but for some reason it's not showing on the original one. Any ideas?

Hello everyone, I use Prestashop 1.7.2.4 with a Classic theme at urodama.com In the very beginning the banner worked perfectly fine. I was able to put my images (multilanguage) instead of default ones and it there were displaying properly. Nonetheless after a while (2-3 months) there was a need to update images and once updated, the banner doesn't show up at all in no language version. It is properly hooked, I also tried to disable/enable it, restart, uninstall/install, clearing cache and regenerating thumbnails. Literally nothing worked - the banner never shows up. Curiously I had the same problem with the slider before. I tried everything and finally ended up installing other available free module which works correctly. Nonetheless since it's the second module that ceased to work, it would be awesome to resolve the issue properly. Does anyone have a slightest clue what may be happening there? Would be extremely grateful for any kind of help! Best regards, Tomasz

Hello everybody, I've started a new webshop on https://modern-knight.be. I'm planning on adding blog content to improve the all over website experience and add to the customer experience. I've recently added my first blog post: https://modern-knight.be/nl/blog/detail/8-redenen-waarom-je-moet-kiezen-voor-alpacawol.html The issue with it is that the breadcrumb doesn't work properly, as well as page title that should be displaying in the tab pane. Somewhere it isn't generated correctly I guess. I don't know whether this is an issue with some settings in Prestashop of with the Leo Blog system which came with the Leo Theme I purchased for the website. Can someone help me along ? Hi, I have this problem for months now. Whenever I do some changes on my banner images, or any images it takes a couple of weeks to make the changes show up. Had done clear cache both browser and BO, even requested for Mysql clear cache but nothing works.

Has anybody a fix? Search is not displaying al the products from catalog, only some of them. They're all indexed (90/90). Rebuilded the index as well. Nothing helps.

Hello, I have added new products, but they are not visible on my Front Page under "New Arrivals". The module for new products is ON & set up OK. I see the new products under LIVE Position under the New products block as well as the New products block - New arrivals...However on the web page I have the message " No new products at this time... and I cannot push on the button New Arrivals. Hi there, The backorder text is not showing up in the shopping cart when more of the same products are added and makes them out of stock. For example. There is only 1 product in stock of Product A. - When ordering 1 times Product A, the text displayed is "in stock, available for delivery". - When ordering 2 times Product A, the text displayed is "in stock, available for delivery". So in the 2nd scenario the shopping cart is not displaying the text for backorder "not in stock, delivery in 1 week". It's displaying the wrong text. - Both the Text when in Stock and Backorder text fields are filled in the admin. - Backorder is allowed for the products. Why isn't this working?

Hi, I am having problems with my Featured "Products on the Homepage module" version 1.4. It appears that where I do my edits (upload images, & change prices) in Firefox once I make an edit, things are visible to me, but if I go to a different browser like IE or Safari or on my Android I can't see my products or my price changes. I can see only "?" marks for my images. It is happening specifically with this module on the homepage and I made edits weeks ago and the changes have still not updated in Safari or Internet Explorer. I can see my products in Firefox and Chrome. I am using prestashop 1.5.6.2 and I just updated the "Featured Products on the homepage" module. I have attached screenshots from Chrome (where my products and prices show correctly) and a screenshot from Internet Explorer (where the updates are not showing and the prices haven't changed) Here's my shop address if you need to view it for yourself merch.mixrevu (dot) com Is this an edit in the module code I need to make or is this something wrong with my shops backend etc? In mobile theme the full pictures are not showing when clicking the thumbnails in product page. Only the first image is showing in full It is working perfectly in full site view. I am using version 1.6, default theme Could someone please help? Thanks in advance www.studioworks.com.au

[referring to PayPal module 3.4.8 and PS 1.5.3.1, using Website Payments Standard] I have a few problems with the PayPal processing (on the summary shown at PayPal and on PayPal email receipts): 1.) the shipping cost line doesn't say "shipping" in it (so the cost looks like some strange floating mystery item fee) 2.) PayPal shows all prices with tax included (they ought not to, both my shop and the shopping cart summary are set up to show products *and* shipping rates with tax excluded) 3.) there is no separate line for tax. Is there any way I can fix this? I'm in Canada and we're not supposed to "hide" taxes inside prices like that. And if not, worst case scenario: is there a way I can get PayPal to grab a grand total only (no products or *anything* itemized - maybe just "order number XXXX" as description only) instead? I understand that the module developers may have intended for some of the costs to be lumped together, but it's potentially a recipe for confusing customers... I figure if I can't show things itemized correctly, may as well just not itemize them at all. I did this transaction with a test product and a voucher code, here's what I got: (No tax line in either view, but total tax should be $0.07) Checkout view: Test Product's price should be $0.10 (tax excl), not $0.11 Shipping cost should be $0.50 (tax excl), not $0.56 Email view: Will every item be "item #1"? Weird... "Shipping" label doesn't exist, it's just a blank space next to the cost. Ideally, "subtotal" should be $0.58 Then "tax" $0.07 Then "Total" $0.65 Then "Payment" $0.65 (redundant, but OK) Thanks in advance for any help! Hi, I noticed that the block cmsinfo is not fully visible when visited in a mobile browser. In a PC I see the "Facebook" thing on the left, the "Lorem ipsum" central part and the "custom block" on the right. In the mobile browser I only see the Facebook part. I found this problem in an installation of mine and ALSO in the online Prestashop 1.6 official demo (http://demo.prestashop.com/en/?view=front). In both cases, if visited via mobile browser, I'm only able to see the left column of it. Otherwise, if you stretch the PC browser it displays well. The mobile browser is the stock Chrome browser of a Nexus 5. The PC browser is an up to date Chrome.

Hello. I hope someone can help... Our shop is based in the UK and is VAT registered. VAT appears to be working on the site, except when it comes to checking out using PayPal. The customer goes through the checkout process seeing the correct amounts and is then redirected to PayPal and is charged the correct TOTAL amount. There is however no mention of VAT on any of the PayPal screens. When the customer confirms their order, they are then redirected back to our Prestashop site - where the order confirmation screen displays the order total with VAT added a second time - which really confuses our customers! I have set up a domestic UK VAT rate within PayPal. Viewing the completed transactions in PayPal shows them being the correct total amount, but with zero VAT on them. I'm guessing I've not configured Prestashop correctly, so it's not passing the VAT on the order to PayPal correctly, and then it's getting confused when it returns to Prestashop upon order completion. Any suggestions on what I need to do to get VAT to show on the PayPal invoices and to stop VAT being added a second time on the order confirmation screen within Prestashop? Thanks, Chris

Hello, the problem I have is that the top menu doesn´t work when using in mobiles or tablets (or adapting the navigator), if you click in the "+" or in "categories" to open the categories are not showing. Hello I have presta 1.5.4.1 in persian. I have a customized theme with its own modules and personalized image sizes. I have installed presta just new and didn't changed any of default settings. My friendly url is disable as default. I didn't generate robot.txt My shop is inactive for now. My questions: 1- when i add product, some times i get these errors: "3 errors This link_rewrite field is required at least in پارسی(Persian) Products must be in at least one category. This product must be in the default category." as i mentioned above my friendly url is not active, also i fill all boxes in seo tab and rewrite url box with English translation but still get the first error. my product is in its own category and have its default category. i dont understand why these errors happens. 2- I have big problem with my images: My theme has a documentation for installing and setting images and modules. I do the written settings but my pictures are not shown in my shop, instead of theme showing question mark. both in home page and product page. i have the update of my theme and installed new one on my presta and images are shown but because im using Persian language i had to ask some professional persons in persta shop for changing theme so that it become compatible with persian language { i have to use right to left direction and left to right is not so beautiful for this language}. Indeed i had payed for this job and they had done the work with older version of my theme (because the update of theme received to me late after i had give my theme for customizing) so if i want to use newer version of my theme i must repay for customizing it and this is not so happily for me! + i have to mention that this theme on the prestashop that developers have worked on it for converting to persian language compatibility, is working true and dosnt have any errors for images!!!! i want to know why this happens i mean why my images are not shown? if this is theme bug, so why it dosnt appear on another presta? and if this refers to presta what must i do? additional infos: i have this reports on my home page BO: URL rewriting Browser cache & compression Smarty optimization Combine, Compress & Cache Shop enabled i have regenerated thumbs after do changes in my image sizes and had cleaned my presta cash but nothing happened. thank you for your attention.

I have done two separate installs of Prestashop 1.6.0.6. from fresh and both have the same problem. The editor does not show anywhere in the back office. there is always the same error in the java console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden) Failed to load: //mydomain/dgps/adminxxxx//filemanager/plugin.min.js Everything else loads ok. the config page looks good; no missing files. Note that the address has an extra "/" after adminxxxx. Everything else loads as //mydomain/dgps/adminxxxx/whatever . . . This causes the problem. It seems like either, somewhere, the definition of the admin directory is wrong or somewhere in the code that loads the editor an extra slash is being added. The rest of the js loads fine so the former seems unlikely. has anyone seen this problem? (note: I had to leave out the http so that the forum shows the whole url)
