Hi all I have recently updated my store from version 1.7.8.8 to 8.0.1. The update seems successful so far, but I have a strange issue with the contact us page/form and I am really hoping that someone can help me out. The problem is that the form just wont display at all. All that is displayed is a thin white bar. I have been looking online for hours now, and all I could find was to replace the contactform.php file with a previous version. I have tried this but have had no success. Is there anyone here that could help? Thanks Tim

Hello everyone We have a prestashop store running version 1.6.1.2 and we cannot display the paypal option in our one-page-checkout process. I have looked over the forums for possible solutions but I have found none. I've set the sandbox in paypal acount and entered the paypal username,password and signature in the module but it just wont show the payment option. In my search for a solution I have checked the country, currency restrictions and tried all the combinations that I could but nothing seems to be working. The only thing that works (in terms of displaying) is if I choose the "express checkout shortcut". But the problem is that is displays in the wrong place and also that if you click it nothing happens. If anyone has any ideas about this mind boggling situation please help. Thank you in advance!

Hello, I recetly installed the current version of prestashop and it is not showing images on my CMS page I created. Any suggestions of why and how to fix this? Thanks p.s. it's been a while since i worked with prestashop in this way and am new to this version.

My enabled payments methods not appearing in front side. i enabled: 1. cash on delivery 2. bank wire 3. paypal working and displaying only: cash on delivery All suggestions are highly appreciated> thanks in advance

no reply ? Hello all, I am new to prestashop and I recently installed it (there was not upgrade or anything like that) The theme was the default bootstrap. As I was trying to figure out everything, I deleted the categories to add my own. Once I cleared the cache and went on my website, all my images disappeared. note that adding images to products WORK . its all the images in the modules that do not work I tried to add "new image type" under preferences>images by adding a new size but that didn't work. I have searched EVERYWHERE on the web to try to figure out this issue but I don't know what I am doing wrong. Perhaps, I don't know how to upload images? is there a specific procedure I should follow? should the images be stored anywhere on the server perhaps? but then, why would they offer to pick pictures of my computer directly? Also, is there a way to set the theme back to its ORIGINAL state (where there were all the pictures and everything)? Is there GOOD tutorials out there that have the new prestashop back office? The website is topshop.sn and attached are the results of the images on the website. I am genuinely confused and I really hoping someone can help me.

Hi there, I recently upgraded my shop to 1.5.6, however after that, when I set the price from the back office to display with tax, it keeps displaying without tax, I tried replacing the product.tpl with the one I previously used in the older shop, but it doesn't work. Is there anything im supposed to change on the variables to have it display correctly? Thanks,

I am in the process of upgrading from 1.5.xx to 1.6 and all is going well except that the modules that I have hooked to "displayRightColumn" do not show up on the product page or the product list page, yet they do on the home page and the order summary page. The same combination of modules worked fine in the old version - and still does shop dot martelldesigns dot co dot uk) but it defeats me as to why it does not work in 1.6 (test dot martelldesigns dot co dot uk) The attachments show: The back office page with the list of the modules hooked to that block. The exceptions part of the back office showing that there are no exceptions for the one of the modules. The code snippet from Firefox inspector for the homepage where it is displayed. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly. Here are some suggestions: Reload this web page later. HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request. I receive the following error in Internet Explorer ​The website cannot display the page HTTP 500 Most likely causes: •The website is under maintenance. •The website has a programming error. What you can try: * Refresh the page. * Go back to the previous page. I was doing a little research and found someone with a similar problem http://www.prestasho...ite-white-page/ Which suggested to "turn on error reporting" to find out more information on what the specific error is (as Server Error 500 is very broad) Using google I found this link: http://mypresta.eu/e...prestashop.html In this article is lists to go to the XML folder (/public_html/shop/config/xml) and find a .PHP file called "config.inc.php" which I don't actually have :-S So I am unable to look deeper into the error. Has anyone has had a similar issue/information on how to resolve this? I would greatly appreciate some suggestions as I'd like to get my store up and running asap (and don't want to put effort into the visuals until the normal functions work) Thank you!
