Hi everyone I need to restrict access to "My Account" page. Only users who have already made at least one purchase/payment in the shop will be able to see "My Account" menu. Eg: User A registers but does't complete any purchase/payment, when he goes to his "My Account" menu he will just receive a notification "Please make a purchase" with a link to the catalog. User B registers and he completes a purchase/payment, he will be able to access "My Account" menu. Is there any condition/variable to verify that the client has completed at least one payment? Something like: {if $user-has-made-a-payment} //Show "My Account" menu {else} //Show Notification: You need to make a Purchase. (Link to Catalog) {/if} I can see that in themes/classic/templates/customer/my-account.tpl "My Account" menu options can be edited, but I cannot figure it out how to make the condition and where to put it. Hi, I have an issue with requesting return from my customers account. If customer has an account and wishes to return purchased items, he/she may log into their account and tick products they wish to return, then indicate quantity and click on "request return" unfortunately for my customers there is no "quantity" field to be edited. Column quantity indicated purchased quantities with no possibility to edit it. So, without editing, when they click on "reuqest a return" an error pops up :"for each product you wish to add, please specify the desired quantity" is anyone able to help?

Mam problem z prosba o zwrot produktu z konta klienta. Klient logujac sie na swoje konto ma opcje prosby o zwrocenie produktu (request return). Wowczas musi zaznaczyc ptaszkiem produkt, ktory chce zwrocic oraz wpisac ilosc tego produktu. Instrukcje presta ktore znalazlam na internecie (najnowsza wersja 1.7) pokazuja ze w kolumnie "ilosc" pojawia sie pole do edycji, ktore wypelnia klient. Niestety u mnie tego pola NIE MA. Bez zaznaczenia ilosci, po kliknieciu "request return" pojawia sie error "for each product you wish to add, please specify the desired quantity" - takze reasumujac, bez pola ilosc "quantity" nie da sie wyslac formularza, a pole u mnie nie istnieje...czy ktos mial taki problem?

Solved: The DiscountControllers.php needed to be modified with the code provided by lordcracker in the 2nd post. I have successfully used vouchers on 3 shops I have running 1.4.9.0 and understand how to use them there. I created a clean install with 1.5.3.1 and have created a cart rule under the BO menu for price rules as shown below (sorry for the formatting, it didn't paste cleanly so I annotated the information to make it clear). The following occurs: 1. I am able to type in the voucher code for people in the assigned group and the discounts occur as assigned 2. If I try and use the voucher code for a person not in the group, it will not take it (Good!) 3. I can not see the voucher displayed as "available" in either the cart for someone logged in (like it does on my 1.4.9.0 shop) 4. I can not see the voucher in "My Voucher" under the "My Account" section, even though the voucher code works for someone in that group. What do I need to do in order to correct 3 & 4? The BO menu on 1.5 is different than 1.4, so maybe it's just something I have not done in the 1.5 BO correctly. ------------- Cart Rule settings for the voucher -------------------- Cart rule information Name * Will be displayed in the cart summary as well as on the invoice. Description Provides free membership and racing for 2013 on members added to the Free Package Deal group For you only, never displayed to the customer. Code (Click to generate random code) Caution! okay, so im very new to prestashop but so far i've been getting the hang of it ... except for the bottom of my page. where it says "information" and "my account" I would like to edit these words and the links below them. but I can't find out how to do that. there are no modules that i see that can help me edit this. I don't know what to do? can someone please tell me how i'm able to edit this? thanks.

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to change the LOCK icon on the top right of the header section on all pages (shows in many themes and configurations) - to change instead of showing the 'locked' and 'unlocked' icon when as user is signed in or out respectively to show a text link instead saying: "My Accoun" or "Sign In/Out" I tried looking at the header.tpl file and a few others but no such luck. Any help will be much appreciated!

Hello, everybody! I wanna to create drop down menu in My account for the customer. Goals: When customer wants return an item, he choose a product for return. And I want that he may to choose different reasons for return this item (Accidental order, Missed estimated delivery date etc). And without reason he can t make the next step. Hello everyone, I am using an "User info block" and "My account block" Everything working fine but there is something missing. Is there any option to somehow show Client log in/log out status? Bonjour, Je dispose d'un site parfaitement fonctionnel en local grâce à Prestashop 1.5.4.0. J'ai besoins d'accèder à la confguration du module "Bloc Mon Compte" pour supprimer le lien "Mes avoirs" qui se situe dans le footer de mon site (j'imagine que c'est par ce chemin que je dois passer pour effectuer cette modification). Cependant, lorsque je vais dans le Back-Office de mon site, que je vais sous l'onglet "Modules", Puis à nouveau sous "Modules" et que je recherche "Bloc Mon Compte", celui-ci apparaît certe mais le mot "configurer" qui est normalement cliquable n'est pas là. Ainsi je ne peux configurer ce module. A noter que c'est le seul de mes modules à réagir ainsi. J'ai également joint à ce post une image appuyant mes propos. J'espère avoir été suffisament complet dans mes explications et qu'un personne pourra rapidement m'indiquer comment m'y prendre surmonter ce léger contre-temps. Merci d'avance. Bruno Egremy

bonjour, j'ai besoin d'aide, après 2 jours de "galère" recherche, sur BO aussi pour des réglages que je n'aurais pas fait... les boutons : "your_account"-"shopping_cart"-"AJOUTEZ AU PANIER", dans les category, produits ... ne sont plus actives ! -- Dans le menu, à ma première categorie, firebug n'est plus visible (blanc) et je ne peux accéder aux autres ? et ça mouline des plombes??? Zdravím, nevím, zda je to někde v nastavení nebo tak, ale vadí mi jedna věc. Když má zákazník v košíku zboží a klikne na Objednávka. Typ procesu registrace: Standardní (vytvoření účtu a adresy) Při plné registraci, kdy zákazník na začátku zadá email, dostane se na stránku, kde nyní vyplní veškeré informace - jméno,příjmení, email, adresu, společnost atd... a dá REGISTROVAT. Po tomto procesu - REGISTROVAT bych předpokládal, že se bude pokračovat v objednávce. Jenže ono po kliknutí REGISTROVAT se dostane na stránku my-account.php (můj účet). Poté opět musí najet na košík a dát objednávka a až poté pokračuje v objednávce. Typ procesu registrace: Pouze vytvoření účtu Při plné registraci, kdy zákazník na začátku zadá email, dostane se na stránku, kde nyní vyplní pouze jméno, příjmení, email a heslo - poté dá tlačítko REGISTROVAT. Nyní nám vytvoří účet, ale přitom krásně zůstaneme na stránce objednávky a pokračujeme dále v objednávce. TENTO DRUHÝ ZPŮSOB JE IDEÁLNÍ ŘEŠENÍ, ale zase to tam píše, že musím vyplnit telefon i když tam není políčko na telefon. Takže u této varianty bych musel mít vypnutý povinný telefon, což se mi také nehodí. Můj dotaz tedy zní: Je možné nějak změnit přesměrování u Standardní registrace, aby se poté zobrazila stránka s pokračováním objednávky a né "můj účet" jako funguje u typu registrace "pouze vytvoření účtu"? Nebo jak vypnout povinný telefon při vyplňování pouze na té zrychlené stránce, kde se vyplňuje email, jméno, příjmení a heslo, ale poté při zadávání adresy nechat telefon povinný? Myslím, že by odpověď na tuto otázku pomohla více lidem. Předem děkuji za pomoc. Prestashop verze 1.5.2

What else could provoke this situation? Hi I would like to know if it is possible to add and remove options in the my account section for customers? There are a few of the standard options such as my credit slips and would like to add links to hidden pages/forms etc. I have searched but cannot find anything so a step by step guide or links to any tutorials would be a great help. Hi there, I'm trying to alter the My account page, basically I'd like to have all the sub-pages in one page with a Hide/Unhide method. I've tried to include the other .tpl files which are called from the my-account.tpl, but it didn't seem to work, as all the others have variables, but when they are called from another file, they can't get their parameters and will give back the pages with empty fields, like "You have not placed any orders." Could someone give me a little push, where to start and look for a solution? Thanks!

Hi, There is no Zip/Postal code field when new customers register on my shop. It is needed, so they get this error message when they try to register "The Zip/Postal code you've entered is invalid. It must follow this format: 0000." I have enabled zip/postal code in the back office. Customers can register if items are already in their shopping cart. In OPC the zip code is present for new customers and they can register. The problem is for new customers who click on the "My Account" link. Then the zip code field is missing and they cannot register. I am using prestashop 1.5.4.1. My website is seductresshairextensions.com.au Thanks in advance, Anne

Hi, I'm still reviewing Prestashop for its usability. While playing around, I couldn't find the My Account Sidebar Listing Block, only the My Account block (on page header) & My Account Footer's Block (on footer). I'd like to have a My Account Sidebar Listing Block like Magento & Opencart as shown below. I don't have much time to delve further into Prestashop at this moment but the 1st impression on my mind is Prestashop is very primitive in Front-end UI & UX. I don't really know how much time to be spent to make it as user-friendly as Magento & OpenCart in the front-end. Thanks
