Good morning, I'm completing an eCommerce with Prestashop 1.6.1.10. A few days ago I received an error in entering the price in the combination of products. If I enter a comma number in the excluded tax field, I receive the following error: "Property Combination-> price length (50) must be between 0 and 20" This does not happen if I enter a number without a comma. I also noticed that all indicators such as "items not available" and "size of a photo" have increased the number of digits in the display. I enclose the screenshots to better understand the errors. Hi, In my country our phone number has 10 digits. Some customer input a shorter , or longer number, and this is frustrating. Sometimes the customer checks his e-mail once every 2-3 days, and i need him to confirm the order as soon as possible. So my question is : How can i make the phone number field ask for a 10 digits number, not a minimum number or maximum number but just 10 digits. I tried to use the minimum 5 digits code from password inside the Validate.php and in the database to edit the 16 characters default length but it did not work I'm still a noob at this, so i will really appreciate your help PS version 1.5.5.0

Hi, I want to increase the default lenght for short description up to 700 characters and what I do is: Back office > Preferences > Products > Max size of short description = 700 -> Save The problem is that value is not saved because when I try to save a product with a short description longer that 400 characters I receive an error message. I have checked directly the database table ps_configuration -> CHECKUP_DESCRIPTIONS_GT value and it is still set to 400. Meaning the change to 700 has not been saved. Finally, I have changed the value of CHECKUP_DESCRIPTIONS_GT directly in the table to 700 but when I try to save the product with more than 400 chars I still receive the error message. Can anyone help me to fix this problem ?. Thanks- 3 replies

Hello Everyone, I have read most of the solutions to this question and they just don't make any sense to me. I have managed to get every part of the import working including images and categories but I am stuck on this final question. How do you populate the Width, Height, & Depth shipping fields when performing a .csv import. I am using Prestashop 1.5.3.1 and I have read just about every scrap of documentation that I can find. The closest thing I could find was an article here: http://stackoverflow...characteristics However I do not understand how to perform the sql query instructions listed here. If someone could please help me answer this question, in plain terms, I would greatly appreciate it. This is the only thing holding me up from getting my site back up and running. -
Bonjour à tous, Dans le cadre de la communication entre Prestashop et un logiciel de caisse tiers nommé Artifact, j'ai réalisé un script d'import des produits simples et des produits dérivés. Mon souci c'est que Artifact génère parfois des références assez longues, notamment pour les produits dérivés dont la référence est une concaténation. Or, la base de données de Prestashop ainsi que ses validateurs n'autorisent pas de référence de plus de 40 caractères. Est-il possible de contourner ce comportement sans avoir à toucher au coeur ? Merci d'avance !
