Dear all, I am researching if I can use Google Wallet as my payment method in my Prestashop 1.6. I did some search and I found there was solution for Prestashop 1.5 by using a module called 'gcheckout'. However, this module cannot be found anymore. Whereas the name "Google Checkout" has been changed to be "Google Wallet" now. What can I do to use Google Wallet in my Prestashop v1.6? Thanks everybody.

Hello, In the earlier versions of prestashop, i had google checkout which was discontinued last year. When will the new google wallet be ready? Should we forget about it completely? -hellouganda

Hi, Have just upgraded to v.1.6.0.5 and decided it was about time I added Google Checkout Module to my site. Clicked Install - fine Configure Within there it states 'You can find these keys in your Google Checkout account > Settings > Integration.' When I search for google checkout it tells me that Google Checkout is no longer supported and hasn't been since last year. What am I missing? How do I set this up? Or is this just an outdated module that is hanging around? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I installed 1.5.3 and all the payment modules except check and wire transfer are missing. Do I have to select something during the install process. Thanks

After the upgrade to PS 1.5.4 there is no longer Google Checkout module!!! We have spend so much time getting the website ready that it just makes me boil that they decided to remove one of the most important bits of Prestashop !!! And it's still advertised on the Prestashop website 16 payments modules, but there is only 10 and Google Checkout is gone! What is happening here? Help

Hi I've got a problem with Google Checkout on our website www.nutsandseeds.co.uk. We're using Prestashop 1.5.3.1 Stable. Our other payment modules seem to be working ok. When checking out with Google Checkout, this error occurs. Server error The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.nutsandseeds.co.uk/modules/gcheckout/payment.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly. HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request. I've setup google correctly and it was working 6 months ago on 1.4 versions of prestashop. Hi all, issue is when customer pays thru Google Checkout, the invoice is not generated within PS, which means the order is not generated,(I do get an email tho!!) & the goods the customer has purchased are not subtracted form my stock levels, hence meaning I have to complete manually. Some customers just don't like using PayPal. Is there a fix to this please? I'm using version 1.4.8.2 Thanks in advance Graeme

Hi, I am having a problem with the google checkout module. After completing an order through google checkout, the customer is return to the order history page. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Hi, Does anyone know how to modify the google checkout module so that the customers address (billing/ delivery) is transferred to the google payment page to populate the address fields? It would be rather annoying for customers to enter addresses on my website and then have to enter it again on google checkout. Thanks

Hi, I'm a little bit stumped by this. When I return to my website from Google Checkout, I end up at https://www.xxxxxxxx...ack=history.php and the shopping cart is not empty and the order does not appear in Orders but does in Google's own checkout. There are no error logs in the gcheckout folder and I have checked my merchant key and id and made sure my https url is in the google sandbox sites settings. I'm using 1.4.8.2 so not sure if I need to follow PSCFI-1480... if so, do i add the htaccess to the root htaccess? A bit lost! Hello! I have been running Prestashop for 6 months now with no major problems. My store is open and processing transactions with Google Checkout. Last week I received an email from Google saying the public business url of my store was incorrect and needed to be updated or my account would be suspended. I logged in and checked that everything was in order and resubmitted the information. The url that I had listed was the main page of my Prestashop site. Google rejected that url saying it is not the website where my transactions take place. So... after trying different urls within my Prestashop site, Google still says, with canned responses, that the url I am listing is incorrect. At this point they have suspended my account and I can no longer process credit cards through Google Checkout. This is beyond frustrating since my store has been working great and I've been making money for the past 6 months. Google is absolutely no help and all I get from them are canned responses basically saying WRONG, DO IT AGAIN! Has anyone else here experienced this issue with Google? What specific URL are they looking for???

Hi, We've set up our site and installed Google Checkout. But we are receiving this email every time from Google and I've searched now on Google's site but can't find a solution to solve this problem. Hello all! I get this error on google checkout: “XYZ Company does not ship to this address via Google Checkout. You do not currently have any valid shipping methods” SEE ATTACHED SCREENSHOTS. SCENARIO: - The shop is set up in the US. - I need to ship internationally - The google-checkout merchant account has a US address - The google-checkout buyer account has a Venezuela and US address. ERROR BEHAVIOR: - When I try to checkout using the buyer account with the Venezuela address, the area where the “Ship to” is displayed shows the error on inside a yellow square. Also the “Shipping and Handling” Totals are not calculated or selectable. - If I add or switch to a US address using the same buyer account the error goes away and the US address is displayed in the “Ship to” area. Aldo the “Shipping and Handling” totals now displayed but it shows a carrier which is only enabled for Venezuela not the US. (It is as if the carriers assigned zone <South America> is interpreted by Google as a US zone, I don’t know what to make of it.) TESTS AND CHECKS: - I tested this also on a different site (not made with prestashop) using same buyer account and Venezuela and it works fine. There must be some restriction embedded in the Google checkout module that only lets US addresses checkout. - I’ve tested in real and sandbox mode - Venezuela is not a restricted country on shipping or currency - Eliminated Custom zones - I created a new carrier, Placed Venezuela back in its default zone, enabled carrier to deliver to all continental zones - Force compiled and cleared cache I’ve googled for more than 10 hours and found numerous postings for this error, with different resolutions. It goes back to 2006, and I’ve tried every resolution people have found, needless to say with no luck. BTW: While testing I also found this possible Bug, when you change the zone of a country from a custom zone back to the default zone it does not refresh the change in the FO and the shipping charges displayed are those that apply for the carrier custom zone. You have to delete the custom zone if you want it to change.

I setup Prestashop 1.4.7 via my hosts CPanel. Created the Products and every graphic, and am ready to process orders. I want to use Google Checkout which was installed and I entered in my info, left to sandbox. When I click Google Checkout when the cart info is ready to pay and I get the dreaded 500 Internal Server Error. "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request" I have gone through hundreds of posts and have the following right; Permissions on folders and files are correct. SSL Installed through my host. I have SSL Enabled in the Preferences. However the following are not right; Google Checkout v1.2 by PrestaShop If I click configure the following line shows on the bottom which should be https right? The API callback URL is:http://mywebsite.com/modules/gcheckout/validation.php NOT HTTPS as google wants. I have reset and re-instaled the module. I did notice with Google Checkout 1.2 there is not htaccess file within Modules > gcheckout. I did add one as a last effort whih did not change anything. Please help. This should have been fixed last week but I cannot find the issue.

I have made a purchase from my store using google checkout. I received an order receipt from google checkout and a Purchase Receipt for Order was sent to my shop's email account but the back office does not show the order. Also in customers > shopping carts Order information shows : No order created from this cart. When I check My Orders from the store Order History shows no orders. I don't have these problems when paying by PayPal. Please help!

Hi, I am have tried to install 2 x payment modules, Google Checkout and Paypal I come across the same error when I am selecting on the payment method however, does anyone know what this is? This is the first time I am building a shop. To re-iterate, it goes to the checkout and then whne you select the payment type you get this: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Having multiple problems with a Prestashop install Redirect loop on SSL enabled (NO SSL radio button) Add to cart ALWAYS adds 2 products, (Sometimes out of stock items) Ajax add to cart is really slow. Google checkout in sandbox mode doesn't add FedEx shipping rates to final price. Problems configuring the USPS modules. Willing to provide more details on all of the following, but ive seen others having issues with the SSL redirect loop on some pages ost of the solutions dont apply to the version im using the latsest version at posting.
