Hello every body , One of my customers wants me to set a content as front page and he wants to manage other pages from there. How can I set a content like "About Us" as home page? Best wishes

I have tried editing the file global.css and header.tpl but have not found a solution. I want to remove the white area between the "smartblog" block and the "list category" block. maybe here someone can give me a solution?? I include a screenshot bellow

Hello, We're experiencing high level of spam messages from our contact form, we'd like to disable it for now and just have a jpeg picturing our email address. We have recently upgraded to 1.6.1.13 and can not find the way of accessing and editing the contact form. Our website is ampleplay.co.uk Secondly, our front page with all our products, when seen from a desktop (tested in Firefox and Safari), appears to have gaps where products should be. We have refreshed/updated the products but it doesn't seem to close the products up, we still have these blanks. Any helps would be appreciated. I would love to change our featured items on front page to NEW products instead. Now i have new products as a block on the side but want it in the middle of our shop instead. Any advice ?

Hi Guys, I have uploaded a new theme. When I add categories to the Top Horizontal Menu the categories are displayed at centre of the top banner vertically listed over the top of the banner. Hi, has anybody known a solution hoe to pop-up image on mouse hover in the front/home page feature product content? I would like to ad this function to put more information about particular product while a visitor moves cursor over an image. I guess that a jquery might be a solution. Hello, I have added new products, but they are not visible on my Front Page under "New Arrivals". The module for new products is ON & set up OK. I see the new products under LIVE Position under the New products block as well as the New products block - New arrivals...However on the web page I have the message " No new products at this time... and I cannot push on the button New Arrivals. Hello, As you can see from the attached screenshot on my Front Page I have the tabs New Arrivals & Best Sellers by default selected. While on the site it's not possible to click on one of the 2 tabs until other is not selected. Looks like they are frozen for selection on start/load of the page. Before only the New Arrivals tab was selected... Any idea what I have to do in order to get back to normal/standard display? Thanks for your feedbacks. rgds, Boris

So I got the issue that I need longer text on front page. I tried to change truncat on the themes>modules>productscategory>productscategory.tpl , but nothing happens. Then I noticed the problem was not that the text is to long, but some css problem. Anyone knows which/ css file I need to change so all text become visible? It seems to be hidden? Please see attached picture for reference. Thank you ! This apply to the normal prestashop v1.6 newest version!

I'll keep it simple. How to change the "Catalog" label to something else; e.g. "Your Selection". (see attached pix) I have gone through Localization>Translation, can't find the entry for "Catalog". I'm on Prestashop 1.6. Thanks.

I would like to change the picture on my front page but I have no idea where to go (which menu) and how to do it. I've found the logo, but I'm reffering to the picture in the middle of my website. Hola, Me gustaría que me pudieran ayudar si son tan amables. Quiero eliminar la parte superior donde venían los links de "Contacto", "Mapa del Sitio", así como la posibilidad de seleccionar el idioma o la moneda. He desactivado los módulos correspondientes creyendo que así se eliminaría ese espacio pero como pueden ver en la imagen que adjunto a este post, el espacio de color gris se mantiene a pesar de estar vacío. De antemano GRACIAS.

After upgrade from 1.4.9.0 to 1.5.3.1, I can access the backoffice but the storefront does not display. I just installed PrestaShop last night from HostGator on my webserver. although I'm having a hard time updating/locating the informaton on the front/main page advertising the iProducts and the gumble that comes with it. Can anyone help?

Hi...We made some changes in CMS and added few pages and also changed the orders of the pages. But unfortunately the changes are not showed in the front page or home page. we also ensured that force compile is ON. We are not getting any error. Kindly help
