I am using Featured Product default module for showing featured product on my website's homepage. Now, I want to show featured product from more than one category. How to do so? How to show featured products from more than one category? Currently, it only allow one category in the module. I am using Prestashop 1.6

Hi. I've been trying to find a solution for this for a while but can't find an answer... 1 - What I basically need is to show the "Featured Products" module inside some CMS pages, not all (you can find an example in 1.jpg). Is this possible? If so, how can I do? 2 - One other thing I'd like to change, in "Featured Products", is the font type, size and remove bold from the first line (as seen on 2.jpg). I tried a few things but none of them worked... Thank you. Miguel

FYI, I found the way how to link the FEATURED PRODUCTS to its SUBCATEGORY. It can be done in BO > Catalog > Product > Edit > Associations panel, by choosing SUBCATEGORY as a DEFAULT CATEGORY. Current link: /index.php?id_product=3&controller=product&id_lang=1 opens product page. I would like to change it to SUBCATEGORY which is a result of DROP DOWN submenu link, like this: /index.php?id_category=39&controller=category&id_lang=1 Briefly, I would like to open FEATURE PRODUCT as SUBCATEGORY page, the same as from SUBMENU. I am using Prestashop 1.5.6.2 for my website, I have installed New Product Block module and Featured Product on the homepage Module, Now i have having below error / problem while displaying new products. 1) When i upload a new product and associate with "Home" category it displayes that product in both "new product block" and "featured product block". 2) When i upload a new product and DO NOT ASSOCIATE it with "home" category it does not display the product in any of the above blocks Number of days for which the product is considered 'new' is kept 10 Days Pls guide me on the same on how to proceed further. Awaiting reply and guidance from seniors.

Just starting out with Prestashop here...I downloaded one of the free themes, the Prestashop black and white I believe it is called. After making a few modifications, I see it allows featured products at the centre of my shop, but I cannot find anywhere in my Back Office to add a featured product! I'm sure it is obvious and I am missing this. I looked under the modules>positions area, as well as in the catalog area for adding new items. Also, I just wanted to be sure that if I do decide to change my theme, I won't lose any of my catalog items or settings, most particularly my customized payment module! Thanks. Kara

Hello Everyone, I need help with image sizes, specifically the Featured Product Images. In the BO I added an image default size called featured_image (179px by 179px) and linked it to products. In the applicable files I added and changed the home featured products to use the new size. Below you'll see the files that I changed. You'll see that the homefeatured images had homeSize set as the size but when I look at the website I only see large_default images being used. Hello, I am in the process of converting our old CRE site over to Prestashop and so far it's been absolutely wonderful, however, I am a bit stuck. I would like to display "Coming Soon" where the featured product price is $0.00, but can't seem to figure out how. I was able to get the actual product page to display "coming soon" through another topic I found in a search here, but trying to apply that same thing to featured products causes the site to return blank. Any suggestions? I'm using Prestashop 1.5.6.2. New to prestashop, but familiar with php development.

Hello and thank you for your help as always! Now I want to put 1 item of featured products in Left column and show always as "Today's Picked up item". I want use featured products module in homepage center area also... I added the code in "homefeatured.php" to make enable to hook featured products module to left column like this. public function hookDisplayLeftColumn($params){ return $this->hookDisplayHome($params); } and now it is possible to see featured products list in left column and center column of homapage also. I want to show only 1 item in left column and 12items in center column but I don't know how to change the number of display... Is there someone who can give me advices?

Hi, Is there anyway to define an image size different for the featured products that will be displayed on the front page, from the image size for the products on other pages? I want bigger images on the home page, but for my categories I want smaller images so I can use a grid. I've tried playing with product.css and have had a little success in displaying the images at their true size, but it still only allows one. I was able to get a second one but it was cut off. Hi Is it possible to add a page navigation in featured product or is there any module that can achieve this? It would be a pain for user to keep scrolling down if we have more than 100 product listed in featured product. It would easy for user to view if we could split 30 for each page Thanks

Hi everyone I am trying to figure out how to put subcategories in the homepage when it shows FEATURED PRODUCTS instead of having products In fact instead of having pictures and titles of products I would like to replace that by pictures and titles of subcategories I guess I have to edit something in homefeatured.tpl but further than that it just blurry I looked everywhere but could'nt find any answer on this particular task.... Please Help!
