Hi guys, trying to import products into Prestashop 1.7.6 with a built Import function. Everything is running fine, but if the URL of the Image has s backspace in URL address, import process fails and product image does not load/save image. Example: https://lucide.sk/foto_shop_big/79297-12-12 off.jpg see the backspace between 12 and off. Exporting via CSV file, so Excel convert the Image URL with backspace into the compliant format of coding UTF-8 that looks like this: https://lucide.sk/foto_shop_big/79297-12-12%20off.jpg But both formats runs to failure then importing the product. I tryied format the cell in Excel as a text or without specific format but without success. 😒 Does anybody know how to solve it? Thanks a lot ! -
I am trying to upgrade from 1.6.1.20 to 1.7.6.4 I am on Godaddy Deluxe shared hosting with cpanel despite the error message, zip is enabled in PHP, which is version 7.1. Below is the full error - which occurs on unzipping the initial download, so it hasn't actually changed any files yet. Note that the time between "Now extracting" and the error is exactly 5 minutes. It would appear I am hitting a 5-minute timeout on the extraction. However, the PHP setting - as reported in the 1-click upgrade screen - is 1000 seconds (16.66 minutes). Note that I already tried disabling both backup options as stated in another post. In case this comes into play, godaddy deluxe shared hosting has limits of 512MB RAM and 1MB/sec I/O. These two limits appear to spike during the attempt. No other limits are reached. No errors are generated in the Godaddy error log. How do I fix this? *-I have unzipped the downloaded PrestaShop file to a temporary folder on my PC then uploaded the contents to my server. When I run the index.php script via my browser nothing happens; just a blank screen. It looks like the index.php file is throwing a php syntax error. I have uploaded a phpinfo.php script to the same directory on the server and it runs perfectly. I have checked the owner and attributes of the index.php file and they match the phpinfo.php file. What is the minimum version of PHP needed for PrestaShop? (mine is 5.3.3)

To solve this i tried to set in the admin to send payment failure email now the thing is payment failure and confirmation email both are being sent. I want to send only payment failure email. Help me

Hi, I have a problem: I have a product that you buy it appears a value of unknown carrier that I have not assigned in the range of weights and the value was not assigned to the carrier. I checked the weight and this ok and ranges carrier too , also i was testing creating a test product and is working ok . but that product just does not work. what would be the error?.

I have a problem with my backoffice. I have experienced that some customers does not get any order confirmation (and any other order updates), when they have made a purchase on my shop. I use the Warehouse theme, but their support says that my issue is not theme-related. I guess the problem is related to the fact that some customers do not get directly linked to the order in backoffice. (attached I have made a pic, to try to explain the issue. The black boxes in the pic shows the orders which did not receive any order information) Prestashop version: PrestaShop™ 1.6.0.9 URL: www.jewelier.dk I appreciate your help, and really hope you can identify any problems on my shop. I'm currently stuck trying to get my logo to display on PrestaShop. I go to theme -> click "Add image" then save. But it won't take the image and do anything with it. I've triple checked the permissions on the img folder. (see attached image) It DOES upload the file to the img folder, but the uploaded image only has 644 permissions. The image won't get used by PrestaShop and just sits there (it's the pink file name on the image.) I've tried adjusting the image preferences to png and jpg and it won't do anything for me. Can't figure out any way to update my logo. Does anyone have any guidance for me?

Hello, I was using One-Click Upgrade to try and update my Prestashop to the 1.6 version. During the process, I received an error message and the updating process stopped. I tried rolling back and got the same error. I then clicked out of the page and it told me the update would be aborted, only to be logged out of my back office and asked to re sign in. When I put in my information it kept telling me my login failed. I even tried to do a password recovery only to find out the account no longer exists! I am the only admin on my website so there is no other email or user I could use. I'm no expert in this matter. I did back up my files, and when I tried to re upload them to the server (to the best of my ability) it didn't fix my log in issues. I'm not sure if my Prestashop lost some of its back office information when I tried updating then rolling back or what. My shop name is no longer above the log in box anymore. This is the second time I've had issues trying to update my prestashop. I wish I would have just left it alone. Can someone please help me with this issue? Again, I'm no expert in coding or anything like that so I'll need directions a novice could understand. Thanks, Chris -
Hello, I have a store open in December, all work fine except the mail. When I received an answer I can't reply via admin, and I have in mail objet: Mail failure - malformed recipient address or Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender Ho can I resolve it? I already contact godaddy but they told it's a script problem. Regards

Hi I keep getting these errors whenever a customer signs up for my newsletter through the home page on my site; ----- A message that you sent contained one or more recipient addresses that were incorrectly constructed: [email protected] <[email protected]>: malformed address: <[email protected]> may not follow [email protected] This address has been ignored. There were no other addresses in your message, and so no attempt at delivery was possible. ----- It also happens with sending customers automated emails from the back office. It's driving me mad because I don't know how to rectify it. My site is; www.offendmyeyes.co.uk Any help is much appreciated, thanks! -
It clearly states in the manual that one should not create URL's manually, but instead let PS handle this: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Setting+a+shop%27s+URL --> the sentence with the exclamation mark I wonder how this is handled by PS exactly... It cannot be handled with an htaccess, because a different subdomain means leaving the original domain (the one where the htaccess is stored). To test this I activated the multistore option and changed the URL for my main store from "www.shop.com" to "b2b.shop.com". When calling "b2b.shop.com" in my browser, I get the message "Firefox cannot find the server", which I expected, since the physical subdomain has never been created on the server. Am I forgetting something, am I misreading or is the manual wrong?

Hello, Today I tried to upgrade my shop from 1.4.9.0 to 1.5.6.1 version using 1-click-upgrade module. I use the very last autoupgrade module version (1.2.4) downloaded just today from addons website. I ran the module and after 10 minutes of work I got no errors at all (only a warning about deleting "backward compatibility module" being not compatible with 1.5), but I had a major issue on orders... I had 4000+ valid orders in my 1.4.9.0 that got vanished after upgrade. I checked DB and I found that : ps_orders table had only 24 records against the correct 1.4 DB that had 4000+ records)... The ID of the remaining orders were very strange too : 213, 413, 616 , 816, 1017 , 1217 ... It seemed like autoupgrade had deleted a lot of records and keep them only 200 by 200. In addition , ps_order_detail is completely empty after upgrade and 1.5 backoffice was missing of "ORDERS" tab in top-horizontal menu (I managed to found "ORDERS" under "Advanced Settings" Menu... Very strange) Some ideas on how to solve it ? Of course my idea is to re-run the upgrade module again , but now I am rolled back to 1.4 installation. Thanks -
Hi, i have prestashop store (1.5.6.0) and if a custumer send me message via the contact form, in back office if i reply via the back office, i have in my mail adress (****@hkepad.com) a ; Mail failure - malformed recipient address. How can i resolve it ? regards

I attempted to upgrade from from 1.5.5.0 to 1.5.6.0. The pre-Upgrade checklist items all have green checkmarks. After I click "Upgrade PrestaShop Now !" the "Activity Log" shows "Currently Processing" with the gear cog then that disapears and all that's shown is the message below. I waited for several minutes and nothing happens. I tried this a couple times with no change. What could be preventing a successful upgrade? Activity Log: Analyzing the situation ...Shop deactivated. Cart not sending emails anymore after upgrade to 1.5.5 from 1.5.4.1. Used 1CLick upgrade module with no errors during upgrade. How can I fix this? -
Hello, My installation fails everytime during step 3 when creating shop etc, during this step a connection is made to an external location for language-files but this is being blocked by the servers firewall which has to be really secure. Now my question is: To which exact domain is Prestashop connecting during it's installation to download language files? This so i can set this domain as an allowed external domain. Regards, Yannick
