Hi all, I had a question regarding the Employee profiles. I created a few Employee accounts from the admin side and when I selected the avatar to try and upload a custom avatar for the new employee accounts I'd created, it redirected me to Prestashop and directed me to use my prestashop.com user account to edit this. I may be missing something, but is there a way for people to edit their Avatars without having to go to Prestashop.com and creating an account? Thanks

Hello community, Since I was working with prestashop for 1 year from now I would like to suggest one feature that is missing in prestashop back office. I would love to send messages from back office to another employee manually and automaticaly that I could use this function in other modules. Example 1: Private message is sent to other employee by me because I want to inform him/her about changes in his order. Example 2: Employee is receiving private message when there is status change in order that he was managing. Currently I am using e-mail notifications to employees but is getting hard to menage that kind of informations. Maybe there is a module like that but I couldn't find one.

Hi all! I'm installing a fresh new prestashop 1.7 version, and now I created the different employees to access the back office of the shop. In the previous versions of prestashop I could change the scheme / theme of the back office for each employee. I have searched for that option and searched the web, forums, etc, but I can't find any options like that anymore in this version. How can I do that then? Change the theme / scheme for that specific employee? I really need this option.. And I can see that the default admin theme still has the schemes folder in there.. Looking for somebody who is able to create a module that will allow multiple sellers and/or vendors to be able to offer their customers discounts at checkout. (It doesn't have to be a module I just need my site to function this way) Looking for something similar to cart rules that's available in the back office of Prestashop.

I have a live Prestashop site with customer data that needs to be protected. I also need to allow a programmer into my site to make changes. Can anyone recommend the permissions that a programmer would need to work in my site? What permissions should not be allowed to protect customer confidentiality? I think this will be useful to others in the future. Thnxs...

Hi buddies, I've recently created a prestashop website working with the multi-shop service implemented since version 1.5. I created some shops and one employee by shop with limited access. I'm currently developping an admin plateform using the prestashop web service (no database). The authentification uses the employee table by webservice and works fine. But, once logged, i can't access to the list of allowed shops for this specific employee. Hi all, I was wondering if it would be possible to hide specific modules from some of my shop's employees. In some cases I want them to be able to modify things like custom HTML, but I don't necessarily want them to have access to payment methods, or other sensitive-information modules. Can I allow employees to see just those modules I want them to have access to?

I would like to customize "Employee" section in the prestashop admin area: first of all I would like to limit Employees to edit thei own products without the capability to "touch" other Employees products, then I need to add an extra field to Employes properties with a custom expiration date (that they can't modify) and if the expiration date is in the past the Employee can't login. Some hint? I don't know where I can start rof these tasks... thanks in advance

hi all, new to the forums here but i've been keeping a close watch on the development of PS1.5 for some time now. i have a few questions regarding it's use and whether it can actually do what i'd like it to do: i want to set up a store where i sell goods (digital and real) from different suppliers but i want each supplier to receive payment from the sale of their products directly without me having to handle any of it at all. i know that paypal has a mechanism called parallel payments built into it's paypal express checkout feature but i've got no idea if this can be set up in presta shop. ideally i want to create an employee profile that allows people to set up their own products and manage their own items in the main store and also receive the money directly themselves... i have no desire to be an accountant! i have a solution to this running already using wordpress and a couple of addons but prestashop is a much more elegant proposition. also, i can't seem to get changes to profile permissions to save, there doesn't seem to be a save button and it's not doing it automatically either as i couldn't get to the main dashboard screen using a dummy customer i'd set up with a new profile and some permissions... any help on either of these two issues will be most gratefully received. jack.
