Search the Community

On the order view the delete (trash icon) and the edit (pencil) icon and functionality is missing. I am logged in as SuperAdmin. This functionality was there yesterday. I need to edit quantities or be able to delete a product from an order. Any ideas?

We are running Prestashop version 1.4.9 in our live shop. Unfortunately we are unable to delete many of our products when they no longer exist in stock. We can only deactivate them. Our categories are full of deactivated products now and it's getting quite cumbersome. In addition the shop has grown unnecessarily big in size, which makes it difficult to create backups. When we try to delete the products we receive the following error message: "An error occurred during deletion: this product is contained in an order." (Please see the attached screenshot) Despite a lot of trying we are still not able to delete. The problem is general and does not only concern the Prestashop sample products. I have changed the status of all orders, except the new ones, to either 'Delivered' och 'Cancelled' but no luck. The new orders does not contain any of the concerned products, since those products have been deactivated much earlier. Should we be forced to delete all our previous orders? We really want them for the shop's statistics. I would really really appreciate if anyone could help us resolve this issue, without deleting the orders!!

Hi! I really need your help. Last sunday I've updated my prestashop site from version 1.5.4.1 to 1.5.6. I had some problems but it seems to be running ok but yesterday I found out a major problem since now customers cannot update correctly the shopping carts. I thought the problem was due to upgrading so I've downgraded the shop again to 1.5.4.1. but problem still happening. I've installed a paid module not so long ago (last month) that improves the error messages in cart (it gives the customer all the products that are not in stock and need to be corrected) and I've made a series of test then and everything was working fine. This is what is happening: - Customers creates a shopping cart, add some products and then give up and returns later. - Meanwhile some of the products are not available anymore - they have to correct them The error is: if I try to delete from cart a product that has no stock anymore or is already inactive it seems to erase the line but it only seems to do it, since the line desapears but when we do some refresh the line returns (and the totals are never updated!) and the cart in the header is always the same, it never updates! If I try to delete from cart a product that has stock and is active it works correctly! Does anybody had this problem before? I'm attaching a print-screen! I've already tried several things: switch off ajax, switch on, default template, switch off all the all CCC funcionalitys, deleted cache, remove cookies, several browsers and nothing is working. Hello I lost access to my website after deleting several products at once using "delete selection". I got the following message "Some tabs were not loaded Correctly, do you want to reload Them?" Im Given option then click OK or to cancel. Its very annoying and sometimes shows blank page. It also appeared to me a message of error 500. My server says that php's work perfectly and the problem is configuration. I am very concerned about this situation. I appreciate some help. Rui
