Heyo! I'm looking for some kind of add-on that comes close to what Kayako offers for customer support (here), because I want an easy way to manage their request and problems, so I can bring them a prompt solution and keep them happy and coming for more, you know what I mean! I see that the marketplace has different online chat and customer support solutions, but I'm looking for something that includes it all, because it is a mess to manage it all on their own, so I want something that integrates in all in one single solution. I hope you get my point. That's all my friends, thanks a lot in advance and I'm looking forward to hearing to your suggestions
Hi all, Got a really big issue with my shop where I (shop admin) are not getting email notifications when customers send messages, request a refund or want to send something back. I am getting emails when a new order is being placed, but am currently having to manually check for messages & RMA requests by hand twice a day in case somebody has done something. Am sure this may because my IMAP settings are wrong as each time I click on 'Run Sync' button, it comes up with a window stating : TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to sync. Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: parsererror The host that is running the PrestaShop and the email account is JustHost and you don't get the option to change any settings other than email address and password. So, with all the different tick boxes on the IMAP email page, does anybody know what tick boxes/info I should use and why the emails aren't working. Thanks is advance Alan
Hi guys, Hope everyone is enjoying Prestashop as I am! This is my first post at PS forums and I am very exited about it. Now obviously I am having a few issues that I can't figure out by myself and need your help. There are a couple of issues that I need to fix in relation to Customer Support for PS 126.96.36.199 1. Changing Customer Service IMAP email account does not work. Initially I wasn't able to send email and this post helped me out. Great post But I wasn't very happy to see that I am not quiet there yet with what information I want to send to customers. I am guessing there is some kind of caching that stops Prestashop from picking up new email account. I even tried deleting the IMAP URL, user and password fields. It still sends an email. I logged in using another account into back office and tried through it, still the same result. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to resolve it? 2. Customer Service email replies received by customers shows sender name as u <[email protected]>. However point to be noted; when a customer uses Contact Us form, the thank you email received by customer shows Customer service <[email protected]>. Note that the email address is same in both the cases yet name is different. This one is really strange. I don't have a clue why this is happening? 3. How to change email message template that customer receives? There is no module/menu in back office that can be used to change the auto generated email template. I am guessing I will have to do a code hack. Anybody knows which files to hack? Prestashop has come a long way and is improving fast. It would be nice to see these things fixed in upcoming versions of Prestashop. Thanks guys, Amit
I am having a problem changing the front upper left logo. I have followed the instructions and clicked the save button. However, the site on the front end is NOT Showing the changes saved. Please help with this issue. The same problem for the color? Is there an easier way to change the color other then the css file in the Global Folder? PLEASE HELP!
