Bonjour, Je n'arrives pas à importer des produits dans le prestashop que je viens d'installer. Le fichier CSV est créé à partir du fichier exemple. Hello ! Could you please me regarding the following topic please ? I am trying to import a csv file with products on my website's backoffice. I have 300 products to import. Prestashop signakls errors on the file i cannot find. When i tried to load a small portion of the file (5 products), it worked but the products created where empty with. you may find bellow the csv file. could you please look it up and tell me where i made a mistake ? Hello everyone , I'm new to Prestashop, so my question may seem weird. So I learnt how to add prodcuts with CSV files and how to update them. Just to check I update the products by Forcing ID Checks and User Reference as Primary Key. Let's say I have an existing Database and a CSV files containing new products and some old ones (Which I don't know their IDs in the database). How to add and update products by using the same CSV File ? If I disable using reference key and forcing ID checks, I m going to have duplicates with different prices.

Hello, I would like to import quantities of products with combinations using the CSV file. Now I can only import simple products and this works well (importing products, Forcing IDs and then assigning columns for ID and quantity) However, if a product has combinations (for e.g. T-shirt sizes: S, M , L), I cannot find a solution to update the quantity of each combination (size). I can assign new reference for each combination, but I don't know how to force import to connect those references with quantities. Help? SOLVED When importing use Combinations, not products I've used the Reference of combination to avoid duplicating -
Hi! I'm using the latest Prestashop version (1.7) and still have found no way to import URLs as features of my products. I've seen workarounds that involve changing prestashop files but still would imply going to each product configuration screen and add the feature. So, my generic question is: how can we use csv bulk import for values containing ":" in fields where ":" is a separator character, like in "features (x:y:z)? Is there any way to change the importer to look for a different char, for example? That would be an easy solution... Thanks in advance! Mário

Hi, I will have a supplier that is going to do an incremental upload everyday through our ftp using our csv file set up, will this process overwrite products as it should or will it just duplicate what is already on the web site? I would prefer not to have duplicates for the simple reason I don't have the time to go in an delete them off especially when it is a daily upload and there are quite a few products.. Is there something I need to do in the backoffice first to help with this issue? and if so what do I need to do? Can anyone help? is there a simple answer? Many Thanks Susan

Hi Hope someone can help?. I have a csv file that has image links for each product, I don't want to duplicate all the products because they have already been uploaded previously, is there a way of just uploading the image links which are on the csv file please? Hi I am having a problem, I uploaded a csv file of products, but only half the sheet uploaded, is there a reason for this? will I need to upload the other half of the sheet seperately ? Hope someone can help I have a deadline of this week to get about 16,000 products uploaded so would like to get this done ASAP... Thanks Susan

I am in need of a module or CSV document that will allow me to upload products. Is there a CSV file that can do this (with explanations on how to use)? or a module that allows you to input everything? I'm using PS 1.5.4.1. and my product section is relatively simple, although I have an extra information section for products called "multiple tabs for products." I'm looking for something that would allow me to at least create the information section, prices, SEO, Associations, Shipping, images, attachments and multiple tabs for products. I can go back and fill out the rest if I need to. Does anyone know of a module that can handle this or have a CSV file that I can upload? I'm new to this and looking for what people think will work best... THANK YOU! -
Una vez superado el trauma de cómo crear los CSV de productos, combinaciones y categorías, llega el momento de hacer las importaciones periódicas de estos archivos. Y, aunque hay montones de hilos en el foro pidiendo ayuda para crearlos, me pregunto cuál es la forma correcta de importarlos. Yo hasta ahora, cada vez que hacía una importación marcaba la casilla "Eliminar todo antes de importar", pero estoy viendo que no es la forma más conveniente de hacerlo, al menos con los productos, porque se pierde cualquier configuración que hayas hecho desde el Back Office, entre otras cosas. Sin embargo, parece ser que con las combinaciones es todo lo contrario. Es necesario marcar la casilla "Borrar todo" o si no se duplican las combinaciones existentes. Al menos, a mí me ocurre esto. Me parece un inconveniente, pues cada vez que quieres hacer algún cambio estás obligado a importarlas todas. Agradezco cualquier orientación o comentarios sobre cómo lo hacéis vosotros. Okay so I have done alot of researching and reading on how to do a bulk upload via csv file and i think I know PART of what i need to do but I want to make sure before I pains takingly do it.. Attached is the screen shot of the excel file my supplier gave me. There are alot more categories and i tried but could upload the actual excel file. Okay so so I need to create a new 1st row and rename the row to the preset import category like "quantity" instead of stock etc. And then I should create category ID column and since these are boots all in the same category i just use same category ID that was assigned in PS? And there are categories that arent in PS well dont think they are like color, boot height and boot heel so where does that data go? This the first time Ive ever uploaded csv and if i can just learn this then i wont need help doing this for my other suppliers. I cant image having to enter this all one at a time! PLEASE someone help..heck if someone could do some remote assistance and show me i will paypal them lil $ lol!

I was hoping I could find someone that would share an old stock csv file that i could use to upload to my brand new store for testing purposes. I really hope i find some one. I need to learn the uploading process plus I need bunch of place holders for categories and products and images in my stores and to do that manually will take forever. How to enter product information with a CSV file without the Characters turned into question marks? i save excel.csv under unicode utf-8 file. I have a default language Slovenian, also when loading csv files use the Slovenian language.
