Hej!

Hey guys I have a huge problem setting additional shipping costs for a specific category in one country. I would like to set additional shipping costs for "Shoes" category in country "Germany". Is that even possible to do within the back-office? I have managed to set the shipping costs for all the countries under "Carriers" but this category thing is killing me. I just can't figure it out. I'd be grateful, if someone could give me a hint to solve this without coding. Btw, I'm using the latest PS 1.7.4.3 Thank you and best regards, Housy

Hey everyone I want to set up my shop but I have a problem, when it comes down to shipping costs. How can I set shipping costs based on product category/subcategory and country? Where can I set price rules for that. Is that even possible without buying a module. If not, what module would be appropriate for my case? Below you can see, how my shipping costs wants to be set. Hope you can help me out, otherwise I'm screwed. SHIPPING COSTS BASED ON PRODUCT CATEGORY WITHIN MY COUNTRY (Slovenia) Other Categories - 2,5 € Shoes Category - 3,5 € MY SHIPPING COSTS BASED ON OTHER COUNTRIES Shipping costs inside European Union - 4,9 € Shipping costs outside European Union - 6,9 € Shipping costs to USA - 12 € Now here are some examples, how shipping should work in practice: If a customer wants to buy 5× jackets within Slovenia, shipping costs are 2,5 € If a customer wants to buy 5× jackets and 1× pair of shoes within Slovenia, shipping costs are 3,5 € If a customer wants to buy anything inside European Union, shipping costs are 4,9 € If a customer wants to buy anything outside European Union, except USA, shipping costs are 6,9 € If a customer wants to buy anything to USA, shipping costs are 12 € Shipping costs are not set according to quantity or product weight. Really hope, someone can help me out with this. Thank you and best regards, Housy

Good Day all, Iam on the edge of ripping out all my hair on my head, i have been battling with the same issue for over a week now with no results.... I have decided to turn to the community for assistance in getting this issue resolved ! First off my configuration information: PrestaShop version 1.6.1.0 Server information Linux #1 SMP Fri Jun 12 15:09:02 EDT 2015 x86_64 Server software version Apache PHP version 5.5.27 Memory limit 256M Max execution time 30 Now the problem: Iam currently stocking alot of products in which we decided not to have any weight or diameters captured into prestashop, as a result we created one carrier which is used for all our states/ zones. In doing this we configured a fix price for the carrier based on the distance from the warehouse to each state, overall it works but iam faced with an issue of the shipping not being calculated in step 4 (Shipping part). Upon checkout, the summary appears in which the carrier is displayed based on the state selected. (Which is correct) but proceeding on to shipping in step 4 (Shipping part) the carriers is displayed again but this time with no pricing ! instead it displays a (free) text next to each carrier. As a result of no pricing displayed in step 4 (shipping part) step 5 (payment options) than calculates the shipping as free and no shipping cost are applied ? Any assistance in fixing this issue would be much appreciated. I have attached 2 screenshots of the checkout. Thanx in advance

Hi All, i am getting confused here. It looks like, that my shop sometimes not applying shipping costs or does not add the carrier at all when a order is being created. I see this only after a order has been created. If i test it with my account, everything looks fine. The shipping filed in the backend is then empty. See attachment. I've checked products, localization and my carrier manytime but cant find the reason. We use the USPS module with only one carrier option: Priority Mail (1-3 days) and online pricing. And we ship only within the US. Anyone facing this problems too? Help. The shop is version 1.6.0.9

Well. It's about 1 month I have Prestashop 1.6.0.6. I asked for some help to this forum because the shipment cost don't work and the cart has everytime "shipment free". And, obviously, not one answer. This a big problem. Carrier is set. Costs are set. Each product has weight and size. Cart everytime with free shipment. I spent a lot of money in Prestashop, but I can't continue if the problems are not solved. Someone has some hints?

Prestashop 1.6.0.8, default theme. I need to fix a big big big problem. 1 - the cart always shown "free shipment". I've tryed dozen of combination but nothig change. shipment don't work. 2 - if the user go to checkout, after the login, at the shipment page, is alway shown "No carrier for the selected area". I'm losing a lot of money and clients. I put my hopes in the version 1.6.0.8 of (and more hoped) to get help from this forum. Bad hoping. I had to take the decision to remove prestashop. I think there is no more options, considering the absence of any help.

My host is Closing Down, so I need to migrate to a new host (VPS)! I don't do the technical stuff my selves, so I need to hire someone for this. Less than a hundred pages / 50 large downloadable products / Total website space 65Gb. How much time does this takes for an expert and what is a reasonable price to pay for this?

Hello! First of all, let me say that I'm not really good at English. I am using Google translate so I hope you understand anyway. I pretty much have a problem with prestashop 1.5.6.1, but now it is shipping costs. I have not specified a maximum weight or dimensions, it is not relevant, since we have fixed shipping cost. Of goods between 0-1995 Swedish crown's the shipping Fees is 100 crown's. 1995 crowns and onwards are free. It does not work every time? And the strangest thing that I can not solve in any way is that with certain products, or number then the freight cost is set to 200 crowns? How is that even possible when I placed 100 crowns as a fixed cost? I hope someone can help me! Thanks in advance!

Hi all Having a bit of an issue with shipping costs at the moment and hope someone can offer some advice... Basically if you select more than 1 product, add them to the cart, and goto the cart, then there is only 1 shipping cost there for both items.. eg. select 2 products at £5 each, add them to the cart, then you will have a £10 total plus £2.75 for shipping - the £2.75 is the default cost per item to ship... what I am after is the possibility of say ordering 2 products and having the shipping applied per item. I know that I can obviously apply a set shipping cost for x number of items to stop the costs spiralling if you were to order say 5 products at £5 each as you wouldn't be paying 5x2.75 for shipping!! I know that for some larger items I can specify individual shipping costs and they are added successfully. eg select an item that costs £19.99 and that has a shipping cost within the product details that totals 5.25 so it adds the default shipping of 2.75 totalling 8. Hope this makes sense and apologies if I am missing an obvious trick here... thanks Chris

I sell special products. I need to sell without specification of shipment costs, because the costs depends on many variables (where, what, with or without crane or, a.e., helicopter shipment). But I don't want in the chart the shipment is indicated as free! It is possible to apply this kind of shipment condition?
