This question relates to my earlier post https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/636915-solved-prestashop-redirects-to-login-screen-when-accessing-some-bo-menu-items/ which I thought was resolved but isn't. I am starting a new post because some information in the old one didn't relate to the actual issue, so for more clarity here it is revised: Since moving my client site to a new hosting server (where I have a number of other Prestashop sites hosted without any problem), my client's site has problems accessing some back office menu items, namely Orders, Customers and Performance. If you click on any of these, you get redirected to the login screen. Not crashed out, just redirected. Going backwards in the browser brings us back in. For the Order page for example, the URL for the menu item is: https://www.XYZcompany.com/shop/admin/index.php?controller=AdminOrders&token=4da9c0650556eb6956c784aa1b14a2bb However, if we click on it, it becomes: https://www.XYZcompany.com/shop/admin/index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=af3bdebf540cc4942582bb9479e49ba2&redirect=AdminOrders and redirects to the login page. But, if we copy this link directly into the browser but REMOVE the token part, it opens the Orders page correctly: https://www.XYZcompany.com/shop/admin/index.php?controller=AdminOrders Yesterday, we did this a few times. At first, after accessing the Orders page with the ex-token URL and then moving around to other menu items, when getting back to Orders we would still get redirected to the login screen. But after a while, a new token seemed to have been generated that the system was happy with and we could access Orders by clicking on the menu as normal. So I thought the issue was resolved. However, this morning we are back to the redirect, and so far I have not been able to resolve it. Any suggestions from developers with a better understanding of tokens would be appreciated. I can only find information realting to error messages about "Invalid Security Tokens" but there are no error messages for us, just the redirect. Thanks!!

Hi, We have a cookie pb with our version of Prestashop 1.6.0.13 : the order can't be finished because the cart empties when entering the checkout page. This happens with all browsers. (see error message attached) log in to an existing account is not working until cookies are cleared or when you navigate in private. (see error message attached) We have cleared cookies and caches of the browsers, the problem comes back randomly, apparently. Hello, The bug described in the title affects some customers and not all. After research I think that the problem comes from the size of the cookies which grow too quickly after each product page visited. I read that if the size of the cookies exceeds 4000, bugs start to appear. Each visit to a product page increases the size of the cookie by about 30. My question is: how to make the main cookie size not increase so quickly ?

Bonjour à tous, Le bug dans le titre concerne une partie des clients et pas tous. Après recherche je pense que le problème vient de la taille des cookies qui grossis trop rapidement après chaque page produit visité. J'ai lu que si la taille des cookies dépasse 4000, des bugs commencent à apparaitre. Chaque visite d'une page produit fait augmenter la taille du cookie d'environ 30. Ma question est : comment faire en sorte que la taille du cookie principal n'augmente pas si rapidement.

Good morning to everyone, I'm experiencing problems with my Prestashop 1.7.6.1 back office. The problem is when I stay a little longer in the administration and then I try to load some other page, for example, the orders page, it logs me out of my account and I can't log back in, I'm stuck in a loop. I've tried chrome, safari, Firefox, but it's the same everywhere. I also discovered that the problem goes away when I clear cookies through developers tools in chrome (on the application page), but it's not quite practical to clear cookies every 30 mins. From now on, my experience with Prestashop is lacking and I need help, how to fix this. I've done a lot of Googling, so these basics like "Check the IP address on the cookie" is already many times tested without any result. The same goes for cache on FTP or PHP versions etc. all should be fine. It started to happen when I changed the hosting provider a week ago. Any recommendation for help? Every idea is welcomed.

Bonjour, Je cherche à installer tarteaucitron. J'ai lu les différents posts du forum. J'ai téléchargé le dossier tarteaucitron que j'ai mis en racine de mon site. En copiant, le script et en modifiant la source dans le fichier header.tpl rien ne s'affiche. Après investigation, je me rends compte que j'ai 5 fichiers header.tpl. Pouvez vous me donner le chemin complet du fichier header.tpl où copier/coller le script? Faut il relancer le serveur web où la modification se fait immédiatement? Faut il activer les modules ou le simple fait de mettre le dossier décompressé en racine du site et copier/coller le script dans le header.tpl suffit? Avez vous d'autres modules gratuit plus simple d'installation à communiquer? Merci pour votre aide et bonne journée. Cdt

(et cela même si je coche rester connecter) Sur n'importe quel autre site, je peux me déplacer d'une page à l'autre sans avoir à retaper mon code. Avez-vous une idée du pourquoi du comment?

Dzień dobry, dostałem audyt sklepu na PrestaShop od prawnika i zawiera on niespodziewany dla mnie fragment: Poszukuję informacji jak wdrożyć to: a) Możliwie tanio - być może da się to łatwo wdrożyć samemu, albo częściowo użyć taniego pluginu i dopisać coś samemu(znam podstawy programowania). b) Gotowy plugin - jakie znacie pluginy które z miejsca spełniają te funkcjonalności? Dla mnie te wymagania mają się ni jak do ustawy 173, nie jestem przekonany, ale tak mi napisała kancelaria prawna która powinna wiedzieć lepiej. Chciałbym wycenić ile wdrożenie tego będzie mnie kosztowało czasu i pracy i zdecyduję czy robię to czy uznaję za niepotrzebne. Możecie więc przy okazji wyrazić też swoje argumenty czy to rozwiązanie jest w ogóle konieczne czy nie i dlaczego. Ale prosiłbym mimo tego że możecie sądzić za niepotrzebne o pomoc w znalezieniu odpowiednich rozwiązań. Ostatecznie wybór i tak muszę podjąć sam i wziąć jego ewentualne konsekwencje na siebie, a chciałbym chociaż wiedzieć z jakim nakładem pracy i finansowym się to wiąże.

Hi everyone, As title says, sometimes adding to cart does nothing - not even a pop up window with confirmation of it opens up. I sometimes manage to test-buy something with newly created users, but after that order buying from that user doesn't work anymore. Can't buy anything with unregistered users either. Tried everything basic - cleaning cache, cookies, etc. Also tried incrementing AUTO_INCREMENT value in ps_cart (answer written here https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/392573-solved-empty-cart-problem-1609). Doesn't change anything. Shop url is http://www.avesa.lt/ ( if you test it, try buying something from section 'Perkamiausi' under 'Populiariausi Pasiūlymai' ). Theme is called 'Wiser Pets Store Template' I'm at my wit's end here guys, will appreciate any help. EDIT: The debug mode on the site is always turned on, because whenever I turn it off, Back Office crashes and becomes unavailable. Could the main problem be related to that?

hi I’m facing a big issue in my website. I cannot logout in my shopping site. after clicking on logout it reload and back to same page but it still show that I’m logged in. when I move to some other page, sometime it show I’m logged out sometime show I’m logged in. on same pages where it showing that I’m logged out and when I click on login it automatically show my profile. it means I was not logged out at any time.. Καλημέρα στο Forum, Έχει ασχοληθεί κανείς με τα cookies του google analytics? Δηλαδή με κάποιο τόπο να περιμένουν τα cookies η το module μέχρι ο χρήστης να διαλέξει τι cookie θέλει και έπειτα να τρέχουν η όχι, αναλόγως με την απάντηση. Έχω στείλει και στο αγγλικό forum αλλά καμία τύχη.

Hello there, As you know from cookies policy you need affirmative consent before turning on Google Analytics. Is there any way i can put the cookies or the module on hold and wait for the user to consept before they run? I am using prestashop 1.7.5.0 and Google Analytics module v3.2.0 with Cookiebot.

Se puede configurar cookies en una multitienda, para que los usuarios cuando vuelvan a mi sitio les recuerde cual fue la tienda que visitaron o si deseo que les guarde su carrito de compra tambien se los haga? si es un modulo por favor comentar que sean compatibles con multitienda 2. Quiero integrarle el login de facebook es esto posible teniendo una multitienda, que mis usuarios se registren de forma manual (por el formulario) o usando los datos de facebook De antemano agradezco sus comentarios.

Greetings PS community, I'm a relatively new PHP dev with zero experience in Prestashop, I've only been using it for a week. With my project, I'm trying to add a few currencies, modifying the currency's displayName & symbol to something else in translations/cldr/main--en-US--currencies, then allow users to choose which currency in the Front Office except for the default currency, which is USD. The error that I encountered (as in the attachment), was after I've modified the classes/controllers/FrontController.php file. I've changed the original code on line 350 in the file from this : $currency = Tools::setCurrency($this->context->cookie); to this : $currency = Currency::getCurrencyInstance(i); * the "i" represents number from 1 - 6, which were the id for the currencies I've added. The error occurs after I switched the code back to the original code & have multiple currencies enabled. I really have no clue how to get it to work as it were before. If you can tell what went wrong or if you need more information, please let me know. Thank you for taking your time to read this. UPDATE : The ContectErrorException no longer shows when Debug Mode is disabled but I am still unable to change currency & I would get Error 502. Hi all, I'm creating a module for Prestashop to manage products and carts from an app and all the requests to manage them are made with REST requests. I'm quite blocked because I'm not sure how to proceed with the checkout process. I guess that it could be easy to make a ModuleFrontController to show a page to select the delivery and payment methods, but I don't know how can i pass the information needed to identify the cart and the customer with security. Could anyone help me to know how can I generate a cookie like the web page uses to pass the information to this controller? Or, Is there any guide about can I send this kind of fields to a Front controller without creating security risks ? Thank you!

Hi, some customer have problems with cookies. After visiting random pages on site sometimes they getting wrong cookies and seeing other customer information, also they can do an orders from other customer account. Maybe it is a problem with cache or smarty? Using prestashop 1.6.1.23

In our Prestashop 1.6 module, we need to access a cookie that comes from an external tracking code, i.e., a cookie not created inside Prestashop. If I access it through the standard PHP global $_COOKIE, everything works fine; however, such a code does not pass through the Prestashop validator. If I am trying to retrieve the cookie using $this->context->cookie->get, I don't get anything, because Prestashop encrypts cookies internally. Is there any valid solution, how to get to external cookie data? Thanks.

Hi Presta People, I have a major problem: when I click "add to cart", the cart stays empty. The product is shown on the overview though, but when I actually go to my cart, it is empty. In Back Office, it is logged as abandoned cart. If I use the private mode of my browser, everything works well. I therefore suspect a cookie problem, can it be? This is a new bug, up to now we had other problems but at least the shop was working properly. If anyone has an idea to solve my problem, I'd be really thankful! We have a presta 1.6.0.14 powered by NginX. ______ EDIT: I already tried twice clearing my smarty cache and deleting class-index.php EDIT 2: it is a cookie issue, I cleared my presta cookies in my browser, and now it works again.
