Hi all, my first post here. I'm not a tech guy, just a Prestashop 1.7 user, so here it goes. I've been translating the shop to Portuguese using the back-office, but there's something I can't translate: the ADD TO CART text on the suggested items on the homepage. The ADD TO CART on each product's page is already in Portuguese, but not the home page one. Please check the attached picture. Would someone have a clue for me? Many thanks! Rui

My theme has the Add to Cart button pretty far down on the page, and because of customization options I wouldn't want to change that. However, I want to add a second Add to Cart button in the right-hand column, higher up on the page, for those who want to have the product to the cart without customization. I'd like it to be a different color as well. Do I need to create a custom module to do this?

Hi everyone ! Ok I'll try out to be clear as possible : I'm trying to change the product page add to cart button behavior working with combinations. I have a product with 4 sizes. What I would like is that no default combination is selected, and when the customer clicks on the add to cart button display an alert " please first select a combination".. Actually I deleted in product.tpl : {if ($group.default == $id_attribute)} checked="checked"{/if} That gives to have no default combination selected. But the add to cart button doesn't display anymore ! I found that this is managed in product.js, but can't find how to figure this out ^^ If somebody has a trick I would be gratefull ;-) Thanks in advance. Best regards.

Hello everyone, I am trying to insert an Add to cart button into the block of new products of the displayleftcolumn position, which is displayed on the category pages. A "Product not found" message is displayed. But you can not get the value of the product id in the attribute data-id-product = "..." The code is located in prestashop\themes\default-bootstrap\modules\blockviewed\blockviewed.tpl: <a class="button ajax_add_to_cart_button btn btn-default" href="{$link->getPageLink('cart, true')}" rel="nofollow" title="{l s='Add to Cart'}" data-id-product="..." data-id-product-attribute="0"> <span>{l s='Add to cart' mod='blockviewed'}</span> </a> The data-id-product value is empty because I do not know what to use inside. Would anyone know what to use to get the product id?

Hi, I would like to remove the add to cart button from the home page and all category pages, replace it with a button saying View or View Product, or when a product has attributes swap the add to cart button with a button saying Options or View Options. It would be good feature to add to prestashop in future releases, so when you select the option to hide the add to cart button for products with attributes, that it is automatically swapped to a View, View Options or just an Options button, or at least have the add to cart button take you to the product page so you can select the options/attributes. I think it looks very bad and Inconsistent, and is very confusing for customers, if you remove the add to cart button from products with attributes and the other products still have an add to cart button. I am using prestashop 1.6.0.9

I have Prestashop 1.5.3.1 and I can’t see the “add to cart” button. I have tried the following: 1. Catalog mode: OFF (Preferences/products of my Prestashop backoffice) 2. I reinstalled the cart module 3. In modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.css I have changed: #featured-products_block_center li .ajax_add_to_cart_button {display: none;} to #featured-products_block_center li .ajax_add_to_cart_button {display: block;} or #featured-products_block_center li .ajax_add_to_cart_button {} And #featured-products_block_center li span.exclusive {display: none;} to #featured-products_block_center li span.exclusive {display: block;} or #featured-products_block_center li span.exclusive {} Nothing has worked. Any other ideas? Thanks

Hi, I am using PS 1.6.0.9 and everything has been working fine. But, of late only one product has stopped displaying the Quantity Field and Add To Cart buttons on the product listing page. However, these fields are properly shown on the product detail page. I checked all Backoffice Options (Catalog, Preferences, settings, shipping, etc.) and everything looks ok. But, ONLY ONE product is not showing these 2 fields. Can anyone suggest what should I do? Regards,

Hi everyone, I need some help again, i tried getting answer in another topic, but I see I am forced to make a new one. SO, I am I'd like to KEEP the add to cart button in product LIST view, but remove the ADD TO CART text and leave only the CART itself as a funtional button. I need this to have more space in the list and for a more clear design. I tried removing the label form product_list.tpl, but its not working. What exactly do I have to modify in the tpl to remove the text? But i also want the leave the button intact on the produt.tpl itself. I have the "force compilation" activated in backpanel. i think the thing is set somewhere here: {if ($product.allow_oosp || $product.quantity > 0)} {if isset($static_token)} <a class="button ajax_add_to_cart_button exclusive" rel="ajax_id_product_{$product.id_product|intval}" href="{$link->getPageLink('cart',false, NULL, "add=1&id_product={$product.id_product|intval}&token={$static_token}", false)|escape:'html'}" title="{l s='NONE'}"><span style="width: 48px; height: 48px;"></span>{l s='Add to cart'}</a> {else} <a class="button ajax_add_to_cart_button exclusive" rel="ajax_id_product_{$product.id_product|intval}" href="{$link->getPageLink('cart',false, NULL, "add=1&id_product={$product.id_product|intval}", false)|escape:'html'}" title="{l s='Add to cart'}"><span style="width: 48px; height: 48px;"></span>{l s='Add to cart'}</a> {/if} {else} <span class="exclusive"><span style="top: -4px; left: -37px; width: 48px; height: 48px;"></span>{l s='Add to cart'}</span><br /> {/if} I wish I'd knew some smarty.... I have read this http://mypresta.eu/en/art/developer/how-to-change-add-to-cart-button-size-on-product-page.html from vekia, but that refers to the products.tpl, so i could change things in th product view itself But There is no INPUT value in the products-list.tpl file. Please help me understand: why product-list.tpl and product.tpl doesnt look and work the same? Thanks in advance Or is it related to some other file? global.css? After my experiments I can say that the above code does nothing to the text, only to the image. I'm too old for this....

www.parkavescraps.com Version: 1.6 Bootstraps Hello, I just uploaded a product to my website. It is a test product. I put in the price, quantity, mfg and so on. Upon looking at the product from the front page, I don't see the ADD To Cart button. In fact, ALL of bootstrap products no longer have the Add to Cart. It is a virtual product. Will someone please help me? Thank you.

I need help with moving my Add to Cart button on my product page. Basically I want it right next to the Quantity box and to have it in the same position no matter how much the page changes. On the left you see where I would like it to go. On the right you see where it does not work for this page (yet the style worked for the left). It basically moves based on other data in each different product page. Please help me if you can!

Hello, I'm new to Prestashop, and so far, frankly, I'm not liking it at all. Anyway, I added a new product which is a virtual one but in the store it does not have a Add to Cart button or a Download button or a Purchase button or... something. The only way I can get a button for this item is if I treat it as a physical item, even though it has an associated file for download. What can I do because digital downloads are the core of my [coming soon-] store? Cheers

Hi, our product page is very long because we have a lot of combinations. If the costumer select his combinations and click the "add to cart" botton on the bottom of the page it is not possible to see how the product image slides into the shopping cart. I would like now set an anchor on the top of the page (next the shopping cart). That`s no problem. My goal is, if you click the "add to cart" botton, that the view jumps to the anchor on the top of the page. I guess, that something must be changed in the product.js but I don`t know, what code I have where to implement. I am no developer. Is there anybody who have an Idea or solution for my problem? We are using Prestashop v1.5.4.1 Regards, Christian

I would like to change the add to cart button style for different pages, IE the manufacturing page, products page, and the home page (homefeatured block). When I make changes it changes all of them. What code do I need to write in the global.css to make this differentiation? I have been told I can add this text anywhere in the global.css file: #manufacturers #add_to_cart {styles here} #index .ajax_add_to_cart_button {styles here} I haven't been able to get anything to work. I appreciate your help! Thank you!

Hi, Would greatly appreciate anyone who would be able to help. When i try to add an item from the product list page http://test.ilovesafra.com/en/17-marina-mandarin or the product page http://test.ilovesafra.com/en/marina-mandarin/112-marina-mandarin-roasted-turkey.html, instead of adding the item to cart, it does not add the item onto the cart and instead redirects me to the empty order summary page. It got messed up when I did a failed attempt of migration. After restoring back to the previous domain, this function no longer seems to be working. The things I did and it still doesnt work 1. deleted the htaccess file. regenerated disabling then enabling the canonical SEO 2. replaced with the old product list file, but it still didnt work. 3. when to cart block under modules, and disabled ajax, but no difference. Would greatly appreciate if there is any help. Been spending close to 5 hours trying to fix this.
