Hello, I added a test_field in /src/PrestaShopBundle/Form/Admin/Product/ProductInformation.php public function buildForm(FormBuilderInterface $builder, array $options) { . . . ->add('test_field', TranslateType::class, [ 'type' => FormType\TextType::class, 'constraints' => [ new Assert\Regex([ 'pattern' => '/[<>;=#{}]/', 'match' => false, ]), new Assert\NotBlank(), new Assert\Length(['min' => 3, 'max' => 50]), ], 'options' => [ 'attr' => [ 'placeholder' => $this->translator->trans('Enter your test text', [], 'Admin.Catalog.Feature'), 'class' => 'edit js-edit', 'counter' => 50, ], 'required' => true, ], 'locales' => $this->locales, 'label' => $this->translator->trans('Test field', [], 'Admin.Catalog.Feature'), ]) . . . } defined in /src/PrestaShopBundle/Resources/views/Admin/Product/ProductPage/product.html.twig {# PANEL ESSENTIALS #} {% block product_panel_essentials %} {% set formQuantityShortcut = form.step1.qty_0_shortcut is defined ? form.step1.qty_0_shortcut : null %} {{ include('@Product/ProductPage/Panels/essentials.html.twig', { . . . 'formTestField': form.step1.test_field, . . . }) }} {% endblock %} and set HTML in /src/PrestaShopBundle/Resources/views/Admin/Product/ProductPage/Panels/essentials.html.twig <div id="test_field" class="mb-3"> <strong>{{ form_label(formTestField) }}</strong> {{ form_widget(formTestField) }} </div> The field is displayed correctly. It's for JS use only - it doesn't write to the database. However, I have a problem with the translation. It should be on the Admin.Catalog.Feature domain but it's not showing in the translation interface. What am I doing wrong? How do I translate the label and placeholder for a newly added field to my language?

Hi fellow Presta users! I am trying to translate my site. Otherwise things have been going decently, but for some reason I can't get GDPR translations to show in Front Office. In Back Office they are saved and showed OK. I have only 1 language in my shop, and translations are made in my currently used theme. I also tried to edit template file to use the new way of finding translations (mod='psgdpr' => d='Modules.Gdpr.Front'), but it does not fix the issue. I also tried to empty cache, but no difference. PrestaShop version: 1.7.6.4 Official GDPR Compliance version: 1.1.3 Has anybody come across the same issue and found a solution? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I am translating my shop to the Slovak language and I am missing the Subject translation for Order canceled. When changing status of the Order to Order canceled an email with Slovak body will arrive but the subject says "Canceled" as I am unable to translate it because it will not shop up when selecting Subject translations. This is important for me, because when customer will see "Canceled" he might consider the email to be spam. I appreciate any help. Thank you.

When changing the language afterwards to e.g. german, it still displays in english. When i delete the modules cache it resets as it should. Why am i having this problem?

Hello, I am on prestashop 1.7.6.2 and using custom theme which I want to translate but I am getting the error and blank translation screen. Except that I have found that when I swich front end of my store to different language it's not working and throwing this error. I am not sure if it's related to translations of not, but this code is causing it: # The function itself protected function buildTemplateProduct($products) { $template_products = []; foreach ($products as $product) { $product = (new ProductAssembler($this->context)) ->assembleProduct($product); $presenterFactory = new ProductPresenterFactory($this->context); $presentationSettings = $presenterFactory->getPresentationSettings(); $presenter = new ProductListingPresenter( new ImageRetriever( $this->context->link ), $this->context->link, new PriceFormatter(), new ProductColorsRetriever(), $this->context->getTranslator() ); $template_products[] = $presenter->present( $presentationSettings, $product, $this->context->language ); } return $template_products; } # The products array is deffined at different place but this is the content $products = $category->getProducts( (int)$this->context->language->id, 1, (int)$block['num'], 'date_add', 'ASC' ); I found the for each error resolved here but I didn't find right code to modify. https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/issues/12295 Thanks for any help

Hi everyone, I just activated the gift wrapping option in Prestashop's back office for Christmas (I have an e-shop in French), and I realise the "I WOULD LIKE MY ORDER TO BE GIFT WRAPPED" text is in English-only, even if all the rest of the website is in French. I saw on the following topic where to find this text to be translated: It's in International > Translation > Theme Translation and there I'm supposed to find it inside Shop > Theme > Checkout. However, there is no such text to be found. Even using the search bar, it doesn't return any result matching the beginning of this text Can it be found somewhere else? Or is it trickier than I thought? For info, I'm on Prestashop 1.7.1.2. Thank you for your help.

But after saving field data not getting saved. It shows empty fields. Below is my code. PrestaShop Tutorials Videos [How to do Tasks] public function renderForm() { $fields_form = array( 'form' => array( 'legend' => array( 'title' => $this->l('Settings'), 'icon' => 'icon-cogs' ), 'input' => array( array( 'type' => 'text', 'label' => $this->l('Block Title'), 'name' => 'BLOCK_TITLE', 'lang' => true, 'required' => true ), array( 'type' => 'text', 'label' => $this->l('Slide show time interval.'), 'name' => 'TIME_INTERVAL', 'hint' => $this->l('Only integer values allowed:'), 'desc' => $this->l('The interval in milli seconds example 8000.Only integer values allowed.'), 'lang' => true, 'required' => true ) ), 'submit' => array( 'title' => $this->l('Save'), 'class' => 'btn btn-default pull-right' ) ), ); $helper = new HelperForm(); $helper->show_toolbar = false; $helper->table = $this->table; $lang = new Language((int)Configuration::get('PS_LANG_DEFAULT')); $helper->default_form_language = $lang->id; $helper->allow_employee_form_lang = Configuration::get('PS_BO_ALLOW_EMPLOYEE_FORM_LANG') ? Configuration::get('PS_BO_ALLOW_EMPLOYEE_FORM_LANG') : 0; $helper->identifier = $this->identifier; $helper->submit_action = 'submitStoreConf'; $helper->currentIndex = $this->context->link->getAdminLink('AdminModules', false).'&configure='.$this->name.'&tab_module='.$this->tab.'&module_name='.$this->name; $helper->token = Tools::getAdminTokenLite('AdminModules'); $helper->tpl_vars = array( 'fields_value' => $this->getConfigFieldsValues(), 'languages' => $this->context->controller->getLanguages(), 'id_language' => $this->context->language->id ); return $helper->generateForm(array($fields_form)); } public function getConfigFieldsValues() { $languages = Language::getLanguages(false); $fields = array(); foreach ($languages as $lang) { $fields['BLOCK_TITLE'][$lang['id_lang']] = Tools::getValue('BLOCK_TITLE'.$lang['id_lang'], Configuration::get('BLOCK_TITLE', $lang['id_lang'])); $fields['TIME_INTERVAL'][$lang['id_lang']] = Tools::getValue('TIME_INTERVAL'.$lang['id_lang'], Configuration::get('TIME_INTERVAL', $lang['id_lang'])); } return $fields; } Any idea to solve this problem.

I need an explanation or a guide about how works the translation system. Why? Because I had one problem im my website. The website are translated correctly, but when I edit any string of translation in BO, the FO doesn't show the modification. For example, in my tpl i had {l s='Add to cart' d='Shop.Theme.Actions'} and this only show the default value of the second language .. yeah, If i change the value of any string of the default language, that works, but doens't work for other languages This bug is so annoying for me and I dont know what could be wrong - I cleared the cache - I deleted the files inside app/cache/dev/smarty - I checked the app/Resources/translations/pt-PT.xlf and the file is not changed when I modified some string. This is normal? Where are the files with modificated strings? The values goes to db? or to a file?

Hi, I propose this new free module to facilitate sharing modules translations between admin and merchants A lot of modules come with no translation for several languages which makes it time consuming to translate them This module allows you to import a module translation for the desired language and to also share it if it doesn't exist yet How to install To install the module, open the Modules page and click Upload a module then upload the attached zip file How to use Start by opening the module translation page then import one of the existing translations or share your translation Make sure that the translation you share doesn't contain sensitive or offensive information Rating the translations You can rate a translation by pressing the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons How to import a translation First click on the translation then choose the options If you choose to overwrite all fields, then the module will replace the already filled fields and it will replace your translation The module will not save the translation automatically so you can take your time to verify it carefully (since version 2.0.0, the translation is saved directly) The module also displays the translation progress so you can pick the most complete translation ⏬ Download transhare-2.0.1.zip Support and feedback If you encounter any issue or have any feedback, don't hesitate to post in this thread More modules Feel free to check my PrestaShop modules on PrestaShop Addons transhare-2.0.1.zip
