I've been trying to install PrestaShop on a Siteground hosting with no success. First, I was running into a redirect problem. I searched around and found some posts about an infinite loop problem requiring regeneration of .htaccess file, etc. Tried all of that without any success. Then I tried the Softaculous automatic installation, which also failed. After several back and forth with Siteground's support and no success, I'm left to ask here if this is a common occurance with PrestaShop on Siteground hosting? Has anyone experienced anything like this with Siteground? What is the solution to the redirect error with SSL or https? Any working walk-through available anyone care to share?

ERRORES en Prestashop 1.7.3.0 - 1. No me permite cargarlo en otro de mis dominios por medio de Softaculous dando error "cannot generate a new_cookie _key" . 2. También hay error al intentar cargar una plantilla: "ERROR 500", Me han enviado el tema August y después de agregarlo a los temas, cuando quiero activarlo, sale ERROR 500 y que la página no puede realizar esa acción en ese momento. ¿Alguien sabe solucionarlo?

I made a fresh install of Prestashop 1.7.0.1 with Softaculous and Manual, and have the same problem, The installation process is all normal and sucesfull, and the website loads, but when i try to go to backoffice i get: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE, from all browsers i tried, cleared all cache, still the same, i curentellly have php 5.5, but i also tryed php 7, but all the same, don't know what to do, any one had this problem and solved it?

Hi all, I was running 1.5 without issue then decided to upgrade to 1.6 through Softaculous and my site hasn't worked since. Admin is inaccessible - login page appears but won't let me login. Frontend is showing only a white page with my logo and a link to the mobile site. It is hosted on a shared server so I have no server access. It is hosted on Apache. I have contacted my hosting provider but it's been over 36 hours and they have been unable to fix it. I have tried re-installing 1.6 but it does not resolve the problem. Question: Is this something that can only be fixed through tweeking server settings? If so what are those tweeks? HELP!!

Dear All, Since problem started with my server caiman.arvixe.com on 30th September 2015 - my prestashop started having 500 Internal Server Error but only on the admin section. I have tried many ways to solve this problem myself. Arvixe was too busy working with their server problem so I tried my best to get this problem resolved by myself. I didn't want to mess up my shop so I have set up a new prestashop site - fresh by Softaculous. To my surprise, the newly installed prestashop has exactly the same problem! The main shop: samakbox.com/prestasandbox is working ok - I mean nothing wrong with the installation - if you have no access it probably due to arvixe server is not functioning again. Here's what I did: 1. I have no access to admin section so I could not try disable/enable some features that was suggested might cause the problem. Bonjour, Je viens d'installer la version 1.6.0.9 via Softaculous. Je suis hébergé chez PlanetHoster et Prestashop s'est installé en anglais ... Je voudrais le tout en français. Quelqu'un aurait une solution ? Merci d'avance

Hi Really hope someone can help me! I used Softaculous to upgrade prestashop to the current version, and now when I try to log into the prestashop admin for my site, I get a message which says that for security reasons I cannot log in until I've 'deleted the /install folder'. Does anyone know what the folder is and where I can find it? thanks

Just some information Our hosting plan comes with cpanel and one of the advantages of that is the Softaculous software installation package - which has a prestashop installation option Softaculous has been upgraded and will now perform automatic backups of your installations (Database and files and folders) So you can schedule your shop to be automatically backed up, daily or weekly on monthly. La progression se rend à 100 %, mais ensuite, on me dit de cliquer sur un lien pour terminer l'installation et ce message d'erreur apparaît : This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <action result="fail" error="28"/> Ma seule solution est d'ensuite utiliser le backup pour remettre la boutique en ligne, car sinon, il n'y a plus rien qui s'affiche.
