Hi guys, Every shop with 1.6 version works awfully slow in the backend. Ive tried disabling non native modules and overrides, no change at all. Various ps 1.6 diferrent shops affected, so its something widespread. Any problem out there ?

Hi everyone ! I could use some help. I'm using Prestashop 1.7.7.7, and since a few weeks, I'm experiencing a really slow back office (10 to 20seconds between pages). I have no issues with the front office. I upgraded to a faster server (doubled the CPU/RAM), but nothing changed. Trying to know which module or hook could be responsible for this slowness, I enabled debug mode to have timings on the request. And in debug mode, the back office is super fast. I don't have the same issue at all. I already tried to clear the 'prod' and 'dev' cache, my smarty recompilation settings are on "never recompile". I'm a bit clueless right now, do you have an idea what could case such a difference between debug and prod modes ? My first idea was to enable debug mode as it enables performance monitoring using Symfony, but as I said, debug mode seems to "solve the issue"... It is obvious that I just can't let the shop in debug mode while in production, so I must find the real issue. Do you have ideas for me to dig deeper ? Thanks a lot 😄

Hi! Adding items into shopping cart is too slowly when a customer id logged in. 1. when customer is not logged in - adding/removing items into/from the shopping cart is happening instantly 2. when customer is logged in - adding/removing items into/from the shopping cart is happening in 10 or 11 seconds, which is to much. Can anyone tell me what to do?

Witam, Mam problem z bardzo długim ładowaniem się głównej strony sklepu, strony produktów i kategorii nieco lepiej ale również długo. Strona - https://daars.pl po sprawdzeniu _PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_ okazało się, że odpowiedzialne są trzy elementy - initContent , initFooter , display Gdzie szukać przyczyny i możliwości poprawy ? Powyłączane wszystkie zbędne, statystyczne moduły, pozostały podstawowe + szablonu. Ustawienia Zaawansowane->Wydajność też sprawdzone, serwer raczej szybki, ale przy otwartych 2-3 kartach cpu widzę wykorzystanie powżej 100% Pozdrawiam.

I believe I have done all I can within the backoffice of prestashop to speed up my site (caching and CCC), our website lockoutdirect.com still sits at around a 70 score on google pagespeed insights. Google pagespeed is recommending I preload key requests and eliminate render-blocking resources. I am still learning and I am unsure what this means exactly / how to do it. If someone could help and shed some light on the situation that would be awesome!

Ich stehe kurz davor, diesen Mist vom Server runterzuhauen ... das Backend ist dermaßen langsam bei der Verwaltung von Artikeln. Wenn ich beispielsweise vom Reiter "Allgemein" auf "Optionen" springe, friert der Browser (und zwar jeder, Safari, Firebox, Chrome) komplett ein, durchaus für 2-5 Minuten. Der Browser meldet dann, dass die Seite nicht reagiert. So kann man nicht arbeiten. Das liegt womöglich an der miserablen Programmierung, dass das Backend für eine Artikelseite schlappe 30.000 Zeilen html-Code ausgibt. Bitte nur seriöse und hilfreiche Antworten! Durch googeln habe ich gesehen, dass ich mit diesem Problem nicht alleine bin. Habe das eine oder andere auch schon ausprobiert. Vielleicht kann sich ja auch mal von den PrestaShop-Entwicklern jemand dazu äußern. Der Shop ist (zum Testen) komplett out-of-the-box mit dem mitgelieferten Theme. Keine weiteren Module installiert. When entering a large order from the back office of Prestashop, with each product that is added, the time gets longer for the product to add to the order. ex. An order with 12 products took 2.5 minutes for the spinner to stop and the 13th product to be added to the cart. Prestashop 1.7.5.2 (We are working on updating but the theme we are using is making it a difficult process.) php 7.2 Any ideas on what the problem might be would be appreciated.

Hi, I modified the size selector that is inside 'product-variants.tpl' and it worked well for a while. But now it is loading very slowly, when I select another size it takes up almost 6 seconds to change the size and I don't know why is this happening. Hi guys, * The problem is the very slow ajax 9 times out of 10 when trying to add a cart rule by selected products in the back office -> Price rules -> Cart rules -> Conditions (tab). * When i i go to the 'Conditions tab' and next to 'Restrictions' i mark 'Product selection' i am able to select products form the list and add them to the chosen cart rule. * When i select a product from the list and press 'Add', the product is added with ajax and moved to 'Selected' but it takes at least 10 seconds and sometimes i even get a timeout. * This is a pure Prestashop code, not a module. I was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem like this? I am attaching the screen shots. Thanks!

My backend has gone really slow since yesterday. I faced similar problems last week, but they were solved. I have tried several solutions modifying class/tools.php but nothing changes and deleting xml countries. Still the same problem. I have read many people complaining about this issue. Does somebody know if Prestashop has released some info about the problem?

Tout d'abord le contexte : Le front va très bien Pas (ou peu) de modules Hébergement classique chez OVH + Base de donnée dédiée (sql privé OVH) Tous les caches activés Peu de produits Installation 'fraiche' ( base de donnée casi-vide, installation one click de OVH il y a quelques jours ) Les infos que j'ai trouvé : J'ai activé le profile, et voici ce qu'il me remonte pour le tableau de bord : On voit clairement que mon soucis vient de l'initialisation, mais je ne sais pas comment traiter l'info. Le site est installé sur un serveur dédié et c'est le seul site installé dessus, un peu rageant donc qu'il soit aussi long... C'est surtout le front-office qui est très long. J'ai désactivé les modules d'expertise prestashop, les modules de statistiques et les modules non utilisés. MySQL on our server was updated from version 5.5 to 5.6 last weekend and that made our website incredibly slow. With MySQL 5.5 our main category page loaded in about 2-3 sec. But now, running MySQL 5.6, the same page takes about 16-20 sec. We activated "Slow Queries" and found that the problem is caused by blocklayered. More precisely the query that handles attribute groups. If we disabled that query, the page loads again in 2-3 sec. For the time being, I adjusted the filters in blocklayered, so that the attribute groups are not used as a filter. That has the same effect as disabling the query in the source. Running the same query on our test server with MySQL 5.5 only takes 0.43 sec!!! So now the main question: What in this query can cause such a huge difference in loadtimes? Thanks for any help.

Why is my site running soooo slow?!? I have a custom theme on the site, but even with the default Prestashop theme it's so slow to load in every page – including basic pages such as about page. I know that I can benefit from adding a good caching module, but would site really be this slow even without the module? Simulating on pingdom.com takes 19 seconds to load the index page. 19 seconds!! images are not that large, and even if I disable the modules that use images, it does not help any. My server specs are : RAM: 19GB PROCESSES 1,500/min MEMORY: 768MB PHP VERSION: 7.1 See the attached image from pingdom – the long yellow wait time is for the index.php file In the backend I'm really confused how to setup the performance page... I read some blogs saying that Smarty caching is bad for performance, some say it is good. See the other image of the setup in my performance page. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I hope this would be the right section. I'm currently using a plugin (BigBuy Module) that runs CronJobs and automatically create products from an external server. During the loading of the page, some products are loaded but some images go into 404 error and since they are server requests, they make the website slow. These requests can last even 1.6 minutes as shown on my screenshot. How can I prevent or stop a request that goes into 404? Thanks so much. I am attaching this console screen:
