Hi, i created a FrontController and im handling my ajax requests inside of it. in some case i need to redirect the user to the login page base on the ajax requests data. im using to redirect but it return the page content to the js success function . here my code and thank you.

Hello friends, one of my clients has a SEO expert, who checked her site. He says the main redirects are not good, we have to fix it. I've installed a test 1.7.6.8 with the same settings: simple domain without www, SSL (https) and multilanguage, after that I checked it in an online https status checker. Test domain: https://1768.presta-shop.hu/hu/ Checker: https://httpstatus.io/ Urls to check in this case: http://1768.presta-shop.hu https://1768.presta-shop.hu http://www.1768.presta-shop.hu https://www.1768.presta-shop.hu So we have a non-ssl url, an ssl url, a non-ssl url with www, and an ssl url with www. The result: There are multiple redirects because a non-ssl and the language (because in this case the final url is https://1768.presta-shop.hu/hu/ or https://1768.presta-shop.hu/gb/ or other, it depends on your language). The SEO experts says it's bad, we have to fix it: every url version has to redirect to the final url immediately. I checked the /classes/controller/FrontController.php's sslRedirection and canonicalRedirection functions, but I have no good result yet. Somebody says the apache redirect can help: https://www.ionos.com/digitalguide/server/configuration/apache-redirects/ But I am not sure. What do you think about this problem? I checked other Prestashops with multilanguage, but the result was the same.

Hello Everyone! I've buy a new domain for host my website with PrestaShop but I'm very scarce! I've uploaded manually the file of CMS and I've installed as well, the backoffice works but some menu are impossible to use, as you can see in image below. And the issue much important is that the frontoffice don't work! If I surf on it, after some seconds of loadings, it print me "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS". But some pages of the website works, let me take an example: example.com/ (MAKE ERROR) example.com/admin (not the backoffice access, THE PAGE WORKS with error 404) If you could help me I would be very grateful.

Hola, tengo un problema con las urls generadas en prestashop para los productos. No entiendo por qué se producen redirects hacia la url que añade dos secuencias de números x-x en medio de la url por defecto. Entiendo que la primera secuencia de números es el product id y creo que es parte del comportamiento base de prestashop, pero la siguiente secuencia no sé por qué se genera. Por ejemplo, tengo esta camiseta: https://12pulgadasbcn.com/en/long-sleeve-tshirts/4714-huf-phoenix-ls-tee.html Y esta url redirige a: https://12pulgadasbcn.com/en/long-sleeve-tshirts/4714-11856-huf-phoenix-ls-tee.html Que a su vez, tiene un canonical apuntando al primero: Tengo problemas para la indexación porque estamos mareando al robot y ya no sabe cuál es la url que ha de indexar. Hey everyone, having a massive issue today with my website. Everything was working amazingly well up until I updated my "SEO & URL's" page in Prestashop 1.4.8. My website in google was saying "Shop powered by PrestaShop" under the website name and I updated it to something more fitting our business under the index.php file of the SEO & URL's subtab. After doing so I refreshed my browser and went back to my main home page and the website will not load what-so-ever. I keep getting this error: I have no idea how it happened or the reasoning behind the error as everything was functioning earlier and all of my other pages are working just fine minus the homepage of my site. I have tried clearing out the cache for all of my web browsers (mozilla, IE, chrome) and retrying with no luck. I believe it might be an .htaccess issue but I cannot say for certain and I have no clue how to fix it. Can everyone please assist me in fixing this issue so I can get my site back up and running? Hello Guys I am having a nightmare with google picking up old urls with already activated 301's. I have EAN UPC module which originally placed its number on the end of every URL and I hadn't realised, that was months ago but google now seams to be picking these up. I have just moved my site completely across to https to have accelerated mobile pages. What is the normal practice? I have checked 301's are in place then removed the error url from google console. Is there anything else I need to do? I seem to be jumping through hoops and spending a fortune at google at the moment. Thanks G

Dear Prestashop Experts, I am Vivek, From India. I have been working on Prestashop for a long time now and have created stores for my clients using prestashop since 2013. I am having a strange problem and need your help. When I am creating multistore in prestashop version 1.5 (all sub versions), 1.6 ( All sub versions) and 1.7 (All sub versions), I am getting 500 Internal server error. Attacjed below is the log segment from my Local apache instance. The log is from default install of Prestashop with 1 multi store. I have a customer's site as well using Prestashop version 1.6, where I have the similar error message. I tried to set prestashop to debug mode but still goes to the 500 Internal server page without giving me any information. I turned on all the features in apache, php and mysql logging, but can't get any further information. Can any one suggest how doI go about resolving or understand what issue I have. If I comment the below line in the .htaccess the sub store shows as 404 not found.. My first guess was this HTACESS entry, but this entry is created by prestashop automatically.. Kindly suggest how can I proceed Awaiting a quick response Vivek

Hej, Er det muligt at redirecte deaktiverede produkter til kategorien i stedet? Jeg har et modul som videresender til et andet produkt. Men da vi handler med brugte møbler og har rigtig mange er der ofte ikke et relevant produkt at videresende til.. Jeg bruger prestashop 1.5.6.2. TAK

My products have been disapproved on google shopping because: 1) The products are getting disapproved because of Google not being able to crawl the landing pages of the products. 2) The landing page may be working when opened manually but due to a lot of redirects on my website Google is not able to crawl the pages. I have forced SSL on my site, would that have something to do with all the redirects? My site is: http://tinyurl.com/pma9hu9 Anyone know what I can do so Google doesn't disapprove my products? My site is not allowing me to have products on google shopping. When I submit the xml file I receive a an error saying Server redirects too often. I have inquired a web developer to help me who is familiar with prestashop. He had a few solutions but none of them worked, however the redirects were cut down. My site started out with http://www.mydomain.com and has now gone to https://mydomain.com. I had force SSL, and that has been removed and fixed. I edited the .htaccess and regenerated the robots.txt. Neither of those worked. Google webmaster tools says robots is 'allowed' for google bot. It has always said it was allowed. Google Adwords has replied with (in short): We realized all of your items were disapproved with the reason "Product pages cannot be accessed." When we tried to access the page with our bots, it returns an error. e.g.) https://mydomain.com/big-boat-blocks/38-harken-flip-flop-mast-block.html This is because your item page can not be shown when accessing as "googlebot"(Google's crawler). When we tried to see your webpage as "googlebot", it returned many redirect loop and we could not see your webpage. My site is: http://tinyurl.com/kch3wou Thank you for you help!

Hello everybody, I run a Prestashop 1.5.6.2 and when testing the page speed with Google Developers I get some warnings, with a 80/100 points result. One of the warnings is to avoid the landing page redirects. According to PageSpeed I have these: http://mysite.com http://www.mysite.com https://www.mysite.com Is there any way to avoid these redirects in index from backoffice, or should I touch the code? If so, what and how should I touch? I have forced SSL on all the pages and I've already disabled Automatically redirect to the canonical URL under Preferences > Seo & URLs. Before doing that, a fourh redirect appeared on the list, but it does not anymore after disabling canonical URLs redirect. Thanks! -
Hi, I would only need to have English (GB) as my default language but if I delete all other languages I just get 404 pages. If I install another language even if it's English (US) the site works fine, as in the links to products etc.. The problem is when I have 2 languages the url defaults to mysite.co.uk/gb and having the /gb adds seconds to my load time. If I delete English (US) and just have English (GB) the site defaults to mysite.co.uk which is when I get the 404 errors. Any ideas how I can get this to work correctly. I'm using PS 1.5.4.1 Cheers

I have a new site running 1.5.3 and installed a lot of 301 redirects in .htaccess. a while back which have been removed but I still have the redirects. Inmotion hosting took a look but found nothing also and suggested I post here my problem. Not sure what you might want to see so let me know. -
I am new to prestashop. I have installed prestashop to my domain 'electromart.com.pk' but when I open my website errors is hown. Below is detailed description of error. How can I fix this issue? Prestashop version: 1.5.0.17 Firefox shows error: Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. Safari Shows: Too many redirects occurred trying to open"http://electromart.com.pk/%5C/" This might occur if you are trying to open a pge and it redirects to open another page which then redirects to open original page.

Hello, I have just upgraded a shop from 1.4.9 to 1.5.1.0 via the 1-click-upgrade module. All seemed to go well and error free. I can access the home page of the site but when I click on any link on the page I get the message in the attached image. I have cleared my browser's history / cookies etc but still no joy. I also tied access the site and clicking on a link from another machine but still the same. Can anyone help me with this? Luther

Hello, My (dev) site: http://chc.vonrocko.com/ This is a custom design and I've coded the links in the header bar to go to where they belong, whether external or CMS pages, and I've activated SEO-friendly permalinks and updated my .htaccess file. The link to what should be the customer's account: (chc.vonrocko.com/my-account.php) redirects to a strange 404: (chc.vonrocko.com/authentication?back=my-account.php), and I'm really not sure why. Also, I cannot add items to my shopping cart, instead I get redirected to (chc.vonrocko.com/cart), which receives a 404. Please halp!
