I have a strange issue with couriers' error messages at checkout in PS 1.6.1.14 (Default Theme). To emulate a minimum amount for purchases needed for a specific group, I've disabled its assigned couriers below a certain purchase amount (let's say 150). The behavior is correct and there's an error showing until the cart reaches 150 euros. But the error message is printed twice for every assigned courier! The message comes from order-carrier.tpl, I guess: if I change that line into tpl file, it changes in error box too (and, of course, it is repeated two times for every courier that is active for that group). The url that shows the error is /quick-order Some years ago someone modified a controller to have this thing of minimum purchase amount working. Is there a way to force a single error message to be printed? PS: of course the message "The product selection cannot be delivered by the available carrier(s). Please amend your cart." has been translated to fit the need of warining about minum purchase amount. Thanks for your time

I have products with many attribute groups and customized fields. currenty, the cart summary displays all the attributes with comma separated (","). I am looking for a way to replace the "," with a new-line, like </br>. Any advise where I could find the attributes string and modify it?

Prestashop 1.6.08 Custom Theme quick-order page (One Step/Page Checkout) friendly URLs Hi, This error occurs when a new customer is trying to checkout via the one page check out process. They enter their account details for the New Account and press the Save button. A popup opens with the following: TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to save account Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: parsererror If the user tries to save the form again he following error is displayed at the top of the page: There is 1 Error(s): 1. An account using this email address has already been registered. I have Developer debug activated but I can not see any extra information in this account, maybe due to it being AJAX, I'm not sure. The new customer is viewable in the Admin->Customers table but the customer can not continue with the checkout as the Payment options are not displayed to them. Also, the new customer does not receive an email from the system. I went into Admin->Advanced Parameters->Email and successfully sent a test email from there using the Test Email function. I'm using an API for the shipping so can not yet test if there is an issue there yet at all because I do not know if the shipping options are not showing along with the payment options as this form short circuits or if there is an issue there as well. FURTHER: As the new customer was in the database I tried scrolling back up the checkout page and using the Already a Customer method. After entering the customers email and password I clicked the Login button and got the following error: TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to send login informations Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: parsererror After that I refreshed the page to find the customer now logged in with the API shipping and the payment options showing. At the top of the page though Developer Debug displayed multiple times: Notice: Undefined variable: ret_amount in /home/account/public_html/mysite.net/www/modules/auspost/auspost.php on line 1507 Notice: Undefined variable: ret_amount in /home/account/public_html/mysite.net/www/modules/auspost/auspost.php on line 1509 They refer to the API Australia Post module. I want to add a custom input field to the form where the customers confirm their order. I'm struggling with where to read the value of this field. This is what I did: In order-carrier.tpl I added this: <p>{l s='TEST'}</p> <p><input type="text" name="my_test"></p> And so far no problem. It shows perfectly and the customer can give the input. But now.... I have to retrieve the input. I suppose I have to use: $my_test = Tools::getValue('my_test'); Also tried: $my_test = $_POST['my_test']; I tried to place this in several files. But it looks like I cannot find the right place to do this (or I'm overseeing something else). I tried: modules\bankwire\controllers\front\validation.php OrderController.php OrderConfirmationController.php OrderOpcController.php bankwire.php ParentOrderController.php I thought the last one would be the best, since logging shows me that it's the first (processed) in line. Unfortunately until now I cannot read the value of the input. Of course I would appreciate very much finding someone who's able to give me the hint which will get me out of this headache :-)
