I have problem with adding more product combinations. When I want to add combination number 70, Prestashop won't allow it. It just doesn't generate to selected combination. I have tried it for more products and it's always the same. I'm not sure if this is the problem of Prestashop or my theme. Prestashop is 1.7.8. On old Prestashop 1.6.1 I had 155 combinations for product and it worked perfectly. Please can anyone help me with this problem?

Hi Everyone, While adding a new product, in combinations tab, when i generate combinations and add details to 'Bulk Actions' and click Apply, it throws the error 'Unable to update settings'. Please help me.

Dobrý deň, obraciam sa na toto fórum s prosbou o pomoc s našim e-shopom. V systéme sme pred nejakým časom začali mať problém s tým, že sa nám nechceli aktualizovať produkty, ak sme tam chceli pridať nejaké prispôsobenie alebo upraviť kombinácie. Prestashop bežal vo verzii 1.7.3. Minulý týždeň sme sa rozhodli aktualizovať systém na verziu 1.7.7.2. Systém sme aktualizovali prostredníctvom 1-Click Upgrade. Aktualizácia prebehla bez problémov avšak problém stále zotrval. Naviac sa vyskytol ďalší problém a to ten, že sa momentálne nedajú vytvárať žiadne nové produkty. Bola mi poskytnutá informácia, aby som vypol určitý zoznam modul, ktoré majú vplyv na aktualizáciu produktu. Tieto moduly som vypol avšak ani to nepomohlo. Vedel by nám s týmto problémom niekto pomôcť ? (V prílohe Vám posielam informácie o serveri a databáze a náhľad aká chyba sa zobrazí po kliknutí na možnosť uložiť v karte Network a Console.) V prípade potreby dodám aj error logy Za odpoveď vopred ďakujem.

Hey all, hope everything is well. i would like to ask your help with some issue that i cant find solution. We import products with CSV file to our store and its updated automatically all the time, after the first import the system create Products ID and Variant ID automatically but now after every update the Products ID stay the same but Variant/ Combination ID changing every time. the problem start when i connect the store with Webservice API to marketplaces, after the system doing update the stocks unreadable and its not find the products variant ID please if somebody had same problem or can advice how i can fix it? -
Any idea on how to enable virtual product combination in prestashop 1.7.6.2? Free modules or tutorials? -
whenever i try to save product combination it shows that Settings has been updated. but nothing showing in product page also whenever i refresh page in back office changes i did isn't showing again.

Hi. I'm building a website for a client and I have a problem when I have to generate product combinations and the number of attributes is quite big. My client sells custom surfboards and the number of variations you can choose from is pretty large, sometimes it should generate more than 100.000 different combinations. Seeing how the generation works and how combinations are stored in the database, I can obviously guess why this problem occurs. Still, I don't understand why Prestashop developers decided to implement such a horrible way to handle product combinations. I searched a lot for a solution, but didn't found anything except the suggestion to buy a module that should change the whole way prestashop handles product combinations (the name is Attribute Wizard Pro). The fact is, we already bought other modules and made some customizations to adapt and integrate some of them with each other. I'm pretty sure buying another module would mean facing lots of issues and a lot of extra work, aside from maybe throwing a way a lot of things we've already done. Has anyone faced the same problem and found a solution? I'm really starting to think Prestashop is way worse than I expected, at least since the release of Prestashop 1.7. Hey there, I am trying to figure out the following. Any help is appreciated. In my shop I have a product "MILLAGRO SHINE" which comes in three colour variations. When you click through black --> brown --> white, the price and images change based on selection which is great. But the stock availability message does not change. For example, the stock qty for colour black is 3 so the message should rightly say "Skladom In stock". However, brown is stock qty 0 so the message should be "Out of stock". Yes, I have configured this on the product page what message should be displayed if product is in stock and out of stock. So to sum up: based on colour selection, price and images change accordingly, but stock message is not updated. So I assume, whatever ensures the price and image to update does not have in its scope the stock availability message. If I knew what it was (jquery?), it should be simple to fix? Can anyone help? Hello, I have problems with product combinations. In the BO I added a white t-shirt as default and a black one as combination, with different prices. In the product shop page I see the white one as default, but when I select the black one only the price changes, I see the black t-shirt only if I update the browser. Why the image color doesn't change on click? Any suggestion? thanks 1.7.5.1

A problem concerning product creating in Prestashop is always bothering me--- How to set the options in product combinations as a required field? Let me put it in this way, for example, when we add a new product, we need to add some combinations for the product. Such as different choices for colors/parameters. However, I can only set one option as default. In this case, when a customer added this product to cart, he even never knew there were different choices, so only the default option was added into cart. As a result, every time we need to contact the customer and asked if he really meant to choose the default option instead of other options. And I have tried many times, and never managed to find a way to set the combinations as a required field, to remind or warn the customer that he must select one of the options before he could go on to add the product to the cart. Anyone could help me about this ? Thanks. -
Unique Pricing for Product Combinations

Does anyone know if there is a way to set up product combinations so that instead of different combinations of attributes adding onto a base price, each combination just has a unique price? Product combinations don't seem to be set up this way, but I thought it would be worth asking. My inventory has variations that create prices that are independent of a base, so I can't use the combinations capabilities right now. Many thanks in advance for your thoughts on the subject! -
Hi, My site use ps 1.7.4.4. There is a problem with quantity discount table (specific price) for products with combinations. When I open the product page for the first time and I choose a combination, the table changes accordingly, but if I choose another combination, the table doesn't change anymore. I made a plain installation in localhost of ps 1.7.4.4 and the problem is the same. Thanks for the help

PS version: 1.7.1.1 File involved: product.tpl (in catalog and miniatures) Hi all, got an issue with about product quantity when i'm using combinations. Since we use and external management software to import products, sometimes quantities are negatives and lower than -1, for example: combination black: 5 combination yellow: 1 combination blue: -19 We would like to show that product is available in some combination, but the command we using: {elseif (isset($product.quantity_all_versions) && $product.quantity_all_versions > 0)} gives a negative value (5+1-19= -13). As a result, on the category page, the product will be shown as unavailable, even if some combination are still available, this only happen if the sum is negative obviously, when is positive all works fine. I'm searching for a string that takes into consideration all of the combinations, giving a positive result in case any of them is positive, so that i can show on the category list something like "some combination available". Something like {elseif (isset($product.quantity_all_versions) && $product.quantity_ANY_versions > 0)} (obviously the command ANY doesn't exists xD) I'm very new to prestashop, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello, I have Prestashop 1.7.2.3. The theme is the classic one, I modified by a lot of CSS. I have combinations as different colors for the same product. I have encountered a lot of problems. Nothing works. When I change the combination, the image of this combination is not showing. Only the default image showing. And when change the color from orange to red for example, nothing happens, the URL of the page is still https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxx.html#/5-colour-red, The page is not reloading or the value of the combination is not changing. When one combination has stock, all other out-of-stock combinations can still be ordered. The button "Add to cart" is still active. The Cart is not working at all. I can add nothing to the cart. Just nothing happens when I click the button "Add to cart". Can anyone help me, please? I can offer more informations on the website if you need. Thank you! -

we are developing a new site in prestashop and everything is going good. however we are now stuck while doing products data entry. our products can have few different options which customers can customize. we are using the prestashop product combination generator which is very good, however it does not give us the option to specify different images for each combination. each product can have upto 1600 different combinations, however most combinations would use the same images. some combinations do require seperate images. it is not possible to manually do this.is there a way to assign images to different combinations based on a set of rules, for example if the product has combinations of a,b and c it gets image A, if it is a,b, and d the product gets image B,C etc. if you can please help -
The following scenario: We buy a product based on weight in 25 kg bags, which is repacked and sold by us in quantities of 100 g, 500 g and 1000 g. We are using Prestashop's advanced stock management, and the plan is to put the product in stock with it's total weight on delivery (let's say we receive 500 kg and add it to our stock as such), the repacking is done on each sale, which means the product is not listed in stock in its individual repacked quantities. I have added the product attribute "Quantity" with three values (100 g, 500 g and 1000 g), but now I'm stuck, because I don't want to have to put the product in the three repacked sizes on stock, but only the total amount of the product, and on a sale of one of the two sizes the proper amount has to be subtracted from the total amount in stock. So for example product in stock: 500 kg Customer buys three pieces of the 1000 g bag -> 3 kg have to be subtracted from stock Customer buys one piece of 500 g bag -> 0.5 kg has to be subtracted from stock Now I am confused on how to properly implement that behavior. Any ideas? -
Hi, I have a question about the product combination function inside Prestashop 1.6.0.14. The cost of the products has to automatically adjust with certain combinations. This works perfectly fine in the back-end but the front-end does not alter the price as it should. I have added two screenshots of the problem, 1 from the back-end and 1 from the front-end. Hi I have products with many combinations but my issue is if I try to add a new combination. When I do this all the links from the colours to their respective image are erased, which means I have to re select the image that shows the correct colour Some products have over 100 combinations so this "re-selecting' the images to match the colours takes hours and hours Can anyone suggest how to add a new combination without having to re-select the image to correspond to the appropriate colour Any help would be greatly appreciated My site is dogtagsonline.com.au. I am using Prestashop version 1.5.4.1 Cheers John

Hi, I'm facing a "no carrier is available for selection" problem only with this exact setup: product with several combinations advanced stock management and product set to use it the setup that works: product without combinations + advanced stock management product with combinations + simplified stock management (quantity selection on product page) my version is 1.5.6.2 note: all other posts I've seen mention warehouses without carriers, carriers with incorrect countries/zones. this does not apply. as showed above everything works fine except this exact combination. Unfortunately I'm receiving the following error when attempting to add a product with a higher number of attributes: "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log." I'm attempting to generate attribute combinations for a T-Shirt. I can successfully add 34 fabric colours, 15 print colours & 3 print positions, but when I add the 5 size options to the generator, I receive the error. I read in another thread that it may be remedied by lengthening the max_execution_time, so my host did this for me but it has not solved the problem. Any ideas?
