i create a custom back office menu tab, but the problem is that this tab is appearing in the bottom of the menu i want it to be in certain position , for example after the SELL tab , and thank you. -
Hello. Today, I want to customize my "not found" page. For this purpose, I opened not-found.tpl of the "Classic" theme and saw the "DisplayNotFound" hook. This seemed perfect to me and I sought for it in the "positions" page of Prestashop 1.7.4.2 back-office but didn't find it. I, then, sought for it in modules and source files but I get no usage at all. Did I miss something? How may I use this hook? Is this hook plugged? Thank you. -

Hello, complete prestashop novice here, I get the following errors in my Modules and Services page. wic_eanupcgenerator (parse error in /modules/wic_eanupcgenerator/wic_eanupcgenerator.php) wic_eanupcgenerator (class missing in /modules/wic_eanupcgenerator/wic_eanupcgenerator.php) Module > Positions page is getting HTTP 500 error. Please help.

Dear everyone, thank you in advance for anyone who could help me. The positions of the modules no longer work - both on the dedicated page (Forms and Services / Positions -> Engage a form) where on "Transfer to" a red symbol of "prohibition as if it were not clickable" appears - both in the live Edilt where this error appears "TECHNICAL ERROR: Failed to load module list" Any expert who can tell me what the problem is? Bonjour, J'essaye de mettre en place une gestion de position pour les valeurs de caractéristiques. J'ai donc modifié FeatureValue.php et AdminFeauturesController.php. J'arrive à faire afficher la position de mes éléments dans la Tab. Quand j'ajoute une valeur la position est bien gérée. Par contre lorsque je veux déplacer une valeur en drag&drop, la valeur se déplace bien, mais aucun changement en BDD. Ma question se tient plus sur de la compréhension du système. Je n'arrive pas bien à comprendre où définir comment appeler ma méthode ajaxProcessUpdateValuesPositions() définie dans AdminFeaturesController.php. J'ai essayé de voir avec la gestion des attributs mais rien y fait, je ne vois vraiment pas comment sont appelées les méthodes d'update de position . Merci d'avance de votre aide. -
Hi to all, I have an online store.I want certain modules on my home page to be displayed according to my new theme.I want home product categories to go up.I am using prestashop 1.6.0.6. I want to change the module positions.I am unable to do it with live edit.It says you must select a shop to edit. How to do this?Any urgent help would be greatly appreciated. -
bonjour, je recherche de l aide car, le bloc panier se retrouve vers la gauche en dessous du logo, j aimerai le replacer a sa place a droite mais j ai rien trouvé depuis hier. ce que j ai fait avant ce probleme: j ai constater que lorsque j ajouter un produit au panier, si je voulais aller sur le panier il se vidait ! mon probleme etait donc tout autre au depart, et d ailleurs pas resolu , ce panier qui se vide. j ai reinitialiser le bloc panier, je pensais que la positions a de ce fait ete modifiée mais en regardant la position, ca semble correct, le bloc panier est placé dans header + top of pages. c est depuis la reinitialisation du panier que je rencontre ce probleme de position. a part regarder dans positions du BO, je sais pas ou chercher ! svp merci de m aider sonia j ai trouver: tout bete en effet, l ordre des modules! dans display header mon bloc panier s etait retrouvé en dernier apres la reinitialisation je l ai replacer en 3 e positions (ou 4) ... et display top il etait en bas aussi je l ai replacer au dessus de menu horizontal si ca peut aider quelqu un merci tout de meme !!!

THank you all in advanced. I was about to get my store live when I noiticed that I somehow changed how the "Displayhome" hook is appearing on the page. It should be taking up both the left and right columns like the footer does, but I somehow managed to only make it fill the right column. Driving me nuts, I tried the "Live Positioning" and see if I could stretch it over but no luck. I have attached a couple of images. The first is how it is displaying wrong on my site, the second is how it should be displayed from the default theme. Thank you all for your help, I'm sure this is a simple fix but I can't figure it out for the life of me... Tim

Hi everyone, I am new here and searched the whole forum for advise but don't find any on my problem. I had problems with the newsletter block when i wanted to unsubscribe an email adresse and resubscribe i received the notfication "e-mail adress already exsists". So i read in the forum the there might be a problem with the hooks. I unhooked the displayheader one and then realized that wasn't the problem, so i wanted to transplant this hook again whcih didnt work. So then, i deinstalled and re-installed the module. And then it appeared on the bottom of the footer instead of in one line with the social networks icons. I thought i might have to reset both modules (newsletter blcok and social networks block) so they would be in the same old postion in one line as by default. But that didnt work. It now looks like this (both module in random positions in the lower footer): I would like to have them back in place. Can anyone help me?

Got a small problem I was trying to work out by myself but I'm kinda a newby so it was a no go. I was hoping someone could help me. On the default bootstrap template in prestashop 1.6 I made a left column. See here: http://www.jolieschaussures.com/ but the left column extended all the way down. which made the banners and facebook block move to the right. With the left column in place I sorta want the layout to lool like this: http://www.webbax.ch/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/front_prestashop.jpg But with a left column. I want to keep the 5 banners the same size in the same place. So I need the left column to be where the Printed summer dress and bucket hat is with the Banners and facebook block left where they are. Any help is appreciated.

Hej Jeg kører med prestashop 1.6. Når jeg går ind på Modules--> Positions og trykker på "Transplant a module", så vises siden som der er vedhæftet et screenshot af. Det samme sker, når jeg forsøger at trykke edit på et hvilket som helst modul... Hvad skyldes det?

Hello All I want to move the theme configurator module above the featured products tab on the home page. For the life of me I cannot seem to do it. The displayHomeTab always defaults above the Homepage content. Can anyone help? This is on Prestashop v1.6 Bootstrap theme. Many Regards Jimicus -
Hi, I'm trying to create a custom theme by modifying a copy of the default theme. I'm a bit confused about how the positions of some modules are handled, when I change them in the backoffice. Example: In my new theme I unhook the shoppingcart and transplant it to displaynav instead. When I switch to the default theme again, it is reset as it should be. But when I switch back to my custom theme the cart stays where it is (not doing the changes I made earlier by moving it to diplaynav). So the following questions come up: 1: Am I doing it wrong? if 1 == True: 1.a: What am I doing wrong?? 2: Where/how are the position/hook modifications stored that I do in the backoffice (are they tied to the current theme?) 3: What happens to module modifications (e.g custom .css) when a module gets updated. Hi there, I have tried to unhook the Banner block-module from all positions and when I filter on "Banner block" in Modules->Positions, Prestashop tells me that this module is no longer hooked anywhere. But then when I refresh my shop, the banner is still there, even after emptying cache/cookies/history.... I also tried the LiveEdit, that tells me that "Module Position saved", but when I exit the Live Edit, the banner is still there.... I know I can uninstall the module, but that's a bit drastic, cause I might use it later. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Cees

Salut!! Voilà la suite des mes mésaventures!! C'est un vrai b..., une vraie m... Je n'en peux plus de plus c'est galère sur galère. Je récapitule: - Je perds le thème de base - Je me dis c'est le moment de passer à la version 1.6 tant qu'à installer... - Fatale erreur: je supprime tout -je fais une sauvegarde avant, ouf!!) - Je remets tout en place après une nuit de transfert mais plus d'accès au backoffice! - Supression totale, et j'upload de nouveau le site sauvegardé - Problème d'accès au backoffice à cause de kwixo (je le vire et ça marche!) -...et là voilà le résultat http://www.piecesvsp.com ou http://pieces-detachees-voitures-sans-permis.fr S'il vous plaît aidez moi à trouver la panne, je m'arrache les cheveux que je n'ai plus!!! Hi, everyone, Currently I am developing theme for Prestashop based on Foundation 5. Theme is almost ready, but I am facing one big problem now. My theme uses custom hooks and module positions. The problem is, I need to parse this theme to the existing shop. This shop has its own positions/modules, etc. As I guess, just uploading theme folder (with modified templates) and modules folder (with modified modules) will not give the exact result. How can I pass my own modules positions (but not settings! Because this shop have its own settings, like carers, payment systems and other useful data) to the existing install? Is there some configuration file that I can compile for theme? Thanks! -

Dear fellow PrestaShopppers, I want to show only one block in my LeftColumn after the customer clicks to pay by Bank Wire, or Check. However, all blocks show. I know how to remove them for specific pages via the POSITIONS - EXCEPTIONS method, but the options to exclude from the modules above are not shown. Does anybody know how to do this? Hello, So...i have a question about search engine positions (of course i'm using Presta ). I have a Prestashop Store (online purchasing is disabled), used to advertise some spare parts. My target is to add products, and to get up to the first page in Google. I've spent some hours, maybe days to learn some SEO stuff, to know how to write content and other things. Many of our products are at the first page (some are after the competition) but most of them are before the competition's website (not PS). My questions are: Is google showing my own website on the top because i own it? (i know google is tracking users) Is google showing my own website because i'm searching hours on the internet for spare parts and google thinks i'm interested in it? The search results are affected by any other factor? Is these results are real, or it's just visible for me (tested from work, and from the webserver - i mean 2 different IP's). I've also forgot to mention I'm using Google.ro - if this matters. Any idea is appreciated. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I would really appreciate some help, I'm sure this is an easy fix I'm overlooking but I can't seem to figure it out. I have two issues actually: 1) I'm using the "Leo slide image using camera" module from Leotheme.com, and as I type the text into the slide text fields and hit submit, it changes the text by adding backslashes before or after every apostrophe or quotation mark I've typed in. Very odd. I have pictures of this and the next issue HERE. 2) So to try and remedy this I installed an update for the slider module. Now this didn't fix the issue and added a new problem: The module "display custom adv html" is now out of place. I don't have much experience messing with hooks and module positions so its probably a simple thing. The module is still in the same hook I think, but its showing above the slider, not to the right of it, where it used to be. I have some images of this HERE again, in case you missed the previous link above. If anyone has some advice on how to fix these issues I would greatly appreciate it!! Please let me know if you have anymore questions, or if you need my back office login info or something to take a look for yourself. EDIT: Solved the first issue, now just need help with number 2. The homeslider module suddenly stopped working, perhaps because of a PrestaShop update, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Now it works but it's in the wrong position in my (purchased) theme. There are two other modules within the Homepage content hook. It looks like I should be able to re-order the modules within the hook, but there are no arrows and I can't drag them. I'm using multistore with 2 shops, so I guess I need to select a shop first (even though both shops use the same theme). However, when I select a shop the page refreshes and goes back to "All Shops." What am I doing wrong?
