Good afternoon, I apologize for all the inconvenience, I would like to ask about an error that I am getting. AIt's my first time installing PrestaShop and I'm using Ubuntu for that, along with apache and MySQL. AAmong several installation guides including in several versions of PrestaShop and in all of them I have the same problem. "You must install PHP zip extension first" I have the extension installed, I made changes to my server in the PHP versions, restarted the installation from 0 to everything, but still, I can't give the solution. I don't know if this happened to someone. I'm really sure I'm doing something wrong, because I don't have much experience on the subject, thanks again.

Hi, For those, who could encounter Internal server error 500 during the installation of PrestaShop 1.7.0.x A small solution, that was discovered recently on some hosting providers. When you try to install your Prestashop ver.1.7 you receive the 500 internal server error. If it is not connected with php zip extension, then it is error with file permissions. Open your FTP account and locate the index.php file from your installation (after you have unpacked the downloaded archive). Change the permissions for this file: deactivate permissions from "all users" to "yourself" and activate "execution". And that's all. Your installation will start after this small change. Hope this will help for someone )

Hello. I'm installing a fresh 1.7.6.5, in a machine with php 7.2, but I get this error while creating default shop and language the through the installing process. 1: HTTP 503 - error - Service Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. I've just check with my host support that everything is fine, and we've already installed before but with the wrong php version, so it's not a matter of HD cuota.

I am getting this error when i am trying to access my front office: Installing Prestashop 1.7.5.0 0 % An error has occured: Unzipping error - Unable to find the release zip file. Make sure that the prestashop.zip file has been uploaded and is located in the same directory as this dezipper. The thing is i already install prestashop(1.7.5) manually and i can access my back-office just fine but whenever the i try to open my shop (front-end) it tries to reinstall prestashop. Never mind i solved it

I can not install PrestaShop. The last page of the installation shows error 504 - Gateway timed-out. Hi, In the sixth step of Installation I get the error: Install demonstration data An error occured during installation...You can use the links on the left column to go back to the previous steps, or restart the installation process by clicking here. I have read several posts, ones even as "Solved" but I cannot solve my problem. I will thank any help.

Hi all, I apologise if my problem seems silly, I'm really not tech savvy at all. I've managed to get as far as uploading all of the prestashop files to the server (I think) then when it says put your domain URL into the browser I just get the 123 registry page & nothing to do with prestashop. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please? Thank you.

Hi guys, I've just installing my test site in a prestashop 1.6 version. My problem is that, after export the database from the original site using Backup BD, and then importing this in the phpadmin, I could not see the front office of mny site. I can see my backoffice very well without any problems. And acces to the admin panel. The problems that appear it's a redirection loop that don't let me see the front of the website. I try deleting the .htacces and creating a new one, changing the Friendly URL option and with the cannonical option disable too. But nothing. Do you now what coul be happeng here? Hi, As I'm not a technical person at all I've decided to install Prestahop locally first using Bitnami. Now my shop is ready but as I want to upload it to the hostingserver, I get all kind of errors. I am having some trouble installing Presta on my 1&1. The tutorial says to go to my domain /install to do so but every time I set out to do this it says that there is a 404 Error and the page cannot be found. What am I doing wrong. I have used FileZilla to upload the files to my host (which is 1and1). Also, when I go to my website directly it goes straight to my host provider. However, when I go to my domain/backoffice it works.

I just purchased and uploaded template 4488 to my server. It shows in my back office (preferences/themes) but without a screenshot like the default template. Hi all at the forum and how are you guys? I have just done a fresh install of Prestashop version 1.5.4.1 Back-end is working ok and not seen any errors. But it's to with my front end, the default theme has not worked or been applied even though it's there on uploaded via ftp a few times. As you can see from the link, the default theme is selected and no other theme installed only what came with it which was the default theme that Prestashop provides; http://inbreathe.co.uk/shop/index.php So what do I do to sort this problem out? Hi, Having problems with a slow install of 1.5.2, i decided to try the lastest 1.5.4.1 So i created a subdomain, database and everything. The problem is i get an error when "Create database tables". After checking via phpadmin, sometimes it creates more table than other times. One time, it gave the error after creating the zone table. So i decided to try on another host. Not the same error, now i get the error when: Cannot install language "English (English)" How can i solve these errors (at least one of them)? Or maybe it should be better for coders to post an empty database ready for use, them i'll change the email, user,... Thanks Pedro
