Hi there! I'd like to modify the layout of my website http://dirtrades.com. Right now if you see the website has enough blank white space on the either side of the website's main content. I mean the header and footer are pretty small to cover the whole page. This ruins the view and very honestly speaking I'm very much concerned about the layout of the webiste. Could you please suggest me how can I increase the width of the contents so that it can cover the whole page...not even a single inch should be left blank! One more thing I'd like to know...how can I insert images below the PayPal images on both the sides so that they can covere the blank area. I want to insert some meaningful images and link them to some additional pages. Please help me out.

Please help me. I want to increase the width of div (contains product name, short description, disk space, color, reference etc.) to grid_6: 646px. So that the whole section become wider to cover the empty space on right hand side. But I am not sure which section is involve in this modification. theme->default->css->product.css? theme->default->css->global.css? I am new to Prestashop. (1.5.6.1 version) I need your help... I am wondering how to edit the width of featured product block in home page. Each product currently: 126 x 260px (my work: http://eviewtrading.com/presta14/ ) I want: 300 x 300px (each line with only 3 products display, looks big thumbnail eg:http://alldeals.groupon.my/) I know need to make alteration on these directories, but I am not sure which one and which part: A. modules -> homefeatured B. themes -> THEMEname -> css C. themes -> THEMEname -> modules -> homefeatured Thanks.

Buenos días, resulta que estoy teniendo problemas para centrar el texto de bienvenida de mi tienda online, ya sabéis... donde suele aparecer "Tu cuenta, bienvenido". No es algo que me este sucediendo ahora si no que llevo bastante tiempo con este problema y no he conseguido solucionarlo simplemente porque no le encontraba la explicación, es una cosa rarisima, pero creo que ya tengo el "por que" del problema... os explico: http://subefotos.com/ver/?36bb626410ce80b800c88a3bd3d38061o.jpg Como podéis ver en la instántanea (pongo el enlace debajo para que podáis verla en grande) ese mensaje de bienvenida está metido dentro de otro bloque y a la vez este dentro de otro y cuando seleccionamos (como se ve en la imagen) el bloque en el cual está el texto metido, podemos ver que está todo correcto pero que el texto sigue colocandose en la izquierda. Si indicamos un width como por ejemplo de 200px a ese bloque donde está el texto metido el texto se centra, pero ¿cual es el problema?, que el width es el 100% de lo que puede ser siempre y no se amolda al tamaño del texto que está dentro del bloque, ni estando en "auto" como está ahora mismo ni nada de nada y tampoco puedo asignarle un numero al width para solucionarlo porque al entrar a nuestra cuenta aparece en ese mismo lugar tu nombre de usuario, por lo que el texto cambia de tamaño y se vuelve a descolocar. Necesito que el width sea del tamaño que sea el texto para que siempre se quede en el centro y no que sea del 100%. En la instantánea se puede ver también cual es mi web, si queréis entrar para echar un ojo a los elementos que forman ese bloque de bienvenida me lo decís y activo la tienda. I am wanting to make my header to be full width to put in a background image. I want the contents of the header: logo, cart, user login, and horizontal link menu to stay centered at the 980px default. My shop is at www.arcnart.com/Shop I basically want the top to look the same as the one on www.arcnart.com If I can get that done, I also want to find out how to move the user login and cart to be aligned next to each other at the top of the page. Thanks in advanced for any help. -
I need your help again. I want the last payment-page to be span12 and not span9. The page where you confirm you order (aftter choosing a payment-method). My problem is that I don't know how to 'call' this page in the header.tpl. This is the current code: <div id="center_column" class="center_column span{if $page_name == "index" OR $page_name == "cms" OR $page_name =="order"}12{else}9{/if} clearfix"> I tried $page_name == "payment" and so on and so on but it didn't change anything. I have also thought about editing the width manually in global.css. But is would not be as 'clean' as changing span9 to span12... Thanks! -
Hi guys, I am looking to set different width for my center column width for frontpage = 90% or 100% width for page with 1 right or left column = 60 - 70%. I managed so far to disable right side bar or left side page for homepage :-) via vekia help . thx for help -
Hello! I want to change a 3 columns theme into a 2 columns, but I want the center column to be 960 px width and 400 px height. I have removed the right column, but it doesn't give me the opportunity to adjust the center column. Can anyone help me? Thank you! P.S. I am using prestashop 1.5

Good afternoon to all of you, I have a question, Is it possible to specify the dimensions of a combination on a product? eg height, width, height, depth. I have a product which I have 2 variations, combinations when I do it gives me the option to indicate the impact on the price and weight ... but not in action. For me this is important because of the dimensions, the carrier gets these variables to calculate the shipping price. thanks

Hi :-) Right now i am using the standard checkout (5 steps) with no left or right columns. I would like the center column to have class grid_9 and have a width of 100% so it is maximum width. In which file do i do this? Thanks in advance

Hi everybody, I'm new on this Forum and a beginner on prestashop I have a little problem : I'm creating my shop online, and i would like to give the opportunity to my customers to choose the width and the height of a product ( width and height in meters ). Next ,according to these characteristics the price must change. Example : I choose -Width : 1meter, Height : 2meters, m² = 5€ - 1 x 2 x 5 =10€ I need 2 fields more ! Somebody to help me ? Thanks -
Hi, I am finding it frustating trying to modify the center of the homepage and the product page - when I change the width for one, the other changes too... However, what I am after is having the center width of the homepage to be 980px (because I removed both left and right columns) and having the product pages to be about 580px because the left and right columns are still there... Help please? Ro

In my localisation, my dimension unit is set to 'cm' I have read somewhere that 'mm' doesn't work very well, so you have to use 'cm'. Now when creating a new carrier, the weight will accept a decimal. So 0.1kg is 100g. But the width/height/depth won't let me use a decimal, it say's Which is annoying because my dimensions require decimals. For example, one of them I'm trying to put in is 240mm so I'm trying to put in 2.4, but it's not working. Anyone know how to fix/solve/get around this problem? JD. -

Everywhere I read that it must be changed in global.css like this: /* global layout */ #page { width: 980px; margin: 0 auto 2px auto; text-align: left to: #page { width: auto; margin: 0 auto 2px auto; text-align: left But I can't find these lines in global.css. Merhaba; prestashop mevcut en güncel sürümü olan 1.5.4.1'de, default olarak gelen temada footer'da bir iki değişiklik yapmak istiyorum. mevcut footerda üzerinde money back,in store exchange vs. yazan arka planı gri olan bir bölümle, kategoriler, bilgi gibi listlerin olduğu arka planı daha koyu tonda olan bir div'den oluşuyor. Burada; 1- üstte yer alan bölümden resimler,yazılar, bg vs. tamamıyla kaldırıp, sadece alttaki koyu bölümün kalması, 2-alttaki lacivertimsi background color'ın her iki yana yaslanması için ne tür değişiklikler gereklidir? (sonucu bu forumun footer'ında olduğu gibi bir yapıya benzetmeye çalışabilirsiniz.) görüşlerinizi bekliyorum.

Hola a todos, Me gustaría cambiar el tamaño de esta imagen del módulo de pago por transferencia para que se vea del mismo tamaño que la de paypal y la de pago por tarjeta de crédito. Al inspeccionar la imagen en firebug me encuentro con que tiene asignado unas dimensiones concretas (widht="89" y height "49") que quisiera modificar para que la nueva imagen encaje con los otros logos: Sin embargo llevo un rato buscando el archivo donde debo editar estos atributos y no encuentro el archivo... ¿podéis ayudarme? Gracias de antemano! -
Hola, aprovecho para presentarme como nuevo usuario de este foro, y reciente usuario de Prestashop Estoy tratando de optimizar mi tienda, para mejorar tiempos de carga, y según tengo entendido, es importante para los navegadores declarar el ancho y el alto de las imágenes, para así agilizar la carga de la web. Sucede que estoy usando una plantilla que, a la hora de generar el código cuando se muestran los productos, no inserta los valores de alto y ancho de las imágenes. Creo que el código crítico es este: (mi-plantilla)/product-list.tpl <a href="{$product.link|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" class="product_img_link" title="{$product.name|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}"><img src="{$link->getImageLink($product.link_rewrite, $product.id_image, 'home')}" alt="{$product.legend|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" /></a> Veis que se llama al enlace del producto, a la imagen y al atributo alt, pero me falta que se llame a los valores width y height. Hi, One of my customers has a shop that sells curtains and fabrics that are custom made. For Prestashop 1.4 I would need a module that allows the customer to select a fabric (=product), curtain type (= standard attribute) and enter exact required width and height (in centimeters) (=custom attribute). Product price should then be calculated, based on the price per unit (cm square). Formula used = (height * width * pricecmsquare)+shippingcost Is there anybody who knows if there is a module that can do this? -
Hi, I need to know the 'current width' of the left/right columns, to adjust a box so that it fits neatly. Is there any function or so that can give me these values somewhere? I believe the values are hard set in global.css, but need to compare 'real time' with this width. (Why: in backoffice the user can change a box width, but it shouldn't be bigger than the column width) Anyone? Thanks. Pascal -
I would like to edit the width of the column on the product page under the catalog tab in back office, the content of name field is large but column "name" is very small and the content of category field is small but column "category" is very large. I often print that page as reference and i would like to have more room for name field that way i will save a lot of paper !! anyone have an idea for me ?! thx.. -

Hi, On the Control panel for each product, one can fulfil the here below fields: UPC Location (warehouse): Width ( package ) : cm Height ( package ) : cm Deep ( package ) : cm Weight ( package ) When such fields are fulfilled, where can i retrieve the related information on the front office ? As the title says, I'm trying to figure out how to add width, depth, and height to the csv product import on PrestaShop 1.4.6.2. These fields are just listed as: Width (package) Height (package) Depth (package) When adding products manually in the back office, so I can't see any reason for them not being included on the product import spreadsheet in separate columns? Is this possible and I'm just missing something? Thanks in advance! -
Hi, I have just discovered a strange issue affecting the footer width when choosing to show all products within a category. I have a client who would like to have all products visible on the same page, so I changed the BO/ PREFERENCES/PRODUCTS 'Products per page' to 84 (I have just 84 items so far) and no problem all 84 items showed, however the footer had expanded to 100% width! The footer is made by 'Prestalove' and at this stage I don't feel the issue is with this module. The Easy Footer sits within the <footer> div, however there seems to be a closing </div> missing (see images) causing the footer to break out of the container but only when the number of products shown exceeds or is equal to the number of actual products does it cause this glitch. Selecting less items per page solves the issue. Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this please? I have done the usual cache clearing. Best regards Grant M
