Hi, I am looking for a module, or an SQL query that will show all orders that can be fulfilled today with the stock we currently have. For example, perhaps we have had a delivery of goods and I want to know which back orders can now be processed. PS must already have this basic functionality, as when an order is placed, it will automatically select Payment Accepted or In Back Order as the order status depending on stock levels. So what I want is to use this functionality at a later date, not just when the order is placed. Surely we are not the only people who would find this useful!

Hello, I would like to ask a question, if it is possible to set up the availability/disabilty to order a product when it's stock level is more than 0. The reason is that sometimes we have 50 customers ordering the same product at the same time. We only allow bank wire payments and before they agree to terms and conditions and click the order button, the product is sold out. We have the low-stock level set to 5, but Prestashop only sends a general notification (not even related to a specific product) that something in stock is only 5 pcs. We would like to have it set up in a way, that when the stock-level reaches 5 - it will disable ordering this product. I hope I wrote it clearly and is it possible to set it up this way without having to buy some kind of a module? Thank you in advance for assistance. Martin

Hi! I am wondering if anyone who has used advanced stock management in 1.6. has moved to 1.7 and is using PrestaShop ERP - Advanced Stock Module https://addons.prestashop.com/en/stock-supplier-management/32549-prestashop-erp-advanced-stock.html. If yes, how is it working out? I am using 1.6. and with advanced stock management and random errors in product quantities seem to increase over time and have become quite annoying, so I have to look for another solution. I would prefer to do all inventory in Prestashop instead of connecting with some other software. Appreciate your insight!! Helen

I sell loose tea. Each product ( tea ) has a few attributes - 50g / 100g / 250g / 500g / 1000g . The problem is if somebody buys , lets say, 100g - one time ...it will decrease a stock number in 100g attribute but not the other atribs. Which leads to the problem that I have to update stock for other attributes manually. ( because if I sell 100g to 10 people , the attribute 1000g stock will not change although I actually sold 1kg of tea ) I was wondering if there is any simple module which can solve my problem? Only what I need is to simply put 1000 g / units and it will automatically fill up the attributes : 1000g -1 / 500g - 2 / 250g - 4 / etc. I also need to be able assign the weight and price to each attribute manually, since the prices and weight of each are different . ( for example 100g of tea is actually 150g because of packaging which needs to be calculated for shipping module ).

In our store we do not keep any inventory. We only order based on what customers order. So all my product Quantity stock is 0 at this moment. When our customer orders an item, the stock becomes negative. Suppose the customer order with 11 items of product A and 1 item of product B When we create a supply order for that item, if we enter 0 in Automatically Load Products box, then the prestashop picks all items with 0 quantity. However we need only Those Items which are Ordered by the Customers ( i.e. the products with -ve stock) in this case A -11nos and B -1nos and It should order A 11nos and B 1 nos How to do this. can anyone guide Thanks

Hello, When I add the last quantities of a product to my cart, it's reserved for me for a while, so another user can't add it saying not available, which actually is. How do I disable this feature, or edit the hold time ? I couldn't find the feature. I'm using Prestashop 1.6.1.11, advanced stock management is disabled. Thanks in advance,

Is there an easy way to set your current products all at once into "stock Management" (maybe through csv import?) At this moment, all stock is set (standard) on manual. Is it correct that all current qty data will be brought back to 0? thanks

Czy można nadpisać Stock Management z instalki?
Czarekplpl posted a question in Wsparcie i pomoc użytkowników
Witam. Mam problem z Stock Management. -
Hello. I had a problem with stock management in 1611 ( supply orders do not appeared in warehouse) so I updated to 1612. In 1.6.1.2. supply order quantities are added to the warehouse in full even if are delivered in part. Scenario: Supply order quantity: 100 Partial delivery: 20 Order status: 4- Delivered in Part Stock Management: 20 Instant stock status: 20(Physical quantity), 20(Usable quantity), 100(Real quantity). Catalog>Products 100 Looks like partial delivery does not work. Does anybody has the same problem or know how to fix it??

V1.6.0.14 Hi, Not sure if missing a process step or something but a number of times when products have been purchased (all orders COD) the stock level in the product description is correct, the decrease is noted in the Advanced Stock Movement, the product is set to use Advance Stock Management, BUT the Stock Management shows the pre-sale total. The sale has not been deducted from this so I have to go in a do a manual stocktake decrease on it if i remember to. After the COD order has been made I set the status to Delivered and Payment Accepted. What am I missing here? Thanks

I've discovered that for products that are created by duplicating an existing product (& then changing name & reference), product quantities are not displayed in the backoffice (catalog > products) or in the shop. I am able to change stock levels in the Stock Management area, and it shows correctly there, and I even get a warning about existing physical stock when I try to delete a product. There is no problem if I create a product from scratch (not by duplicating an existing product). Any ideas & assistance will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, - Joel

Hello, I'm trying to run e-commerce with clothing on prestashop, right now I'm filling it with products. I know how to add attributes for each product, what I don't know is how to connect 2+ attributes with stock management. For example: I have a dress, in 3 colors and in 3 sizes. In red color I have 2 XS, 3 S and 2 M In black color I have 3 XS, 3 S and 2 M In blue color I have 1 XS, 1 S and 4 M See what I mean? I need to connect those attributes together. How can I put those numbers in Stock, so nobody can buy more clothes than I really have? As far as I tried, I just found out I can create for each color each "product", but I don't want to do it that way. :-/ Please, help me! Thank you, Tereza

Hi There, I've worked with a number of eCommerce platforms, but am having difficulty getting my head around PrestaShop 1.5.2. My issue pertains to stock not -1 (decreasing) when sold. I have all products in the catalogue set to: -- I want to specify available quantities manually In Preferences > Products > Products stock -- Enable stock management is ticked. The manual quantities available to sell aren't changing after an item sells. Can anyone explain why, what I've missed or if I have to move over to advanced stock management settings? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello I'm using prestashop 1.6.0.9 and I'm noticing some stock management issues: When adding stock i get the message: The product was successfully added to your stock. But it still shows 0 on the stock management list. However, when I go to the product page, the quantity does show what i added in stock management. it also shows the correct quantity on instant stock status. my config for all products is: I want to use the advanced stock management system for this product. The available quantities for the current product and its combinations are based on the stock in your warehouse (using the advanced stock management system). YESNO Enable advanced stock managementYESNO New products use advanced stock managementYESNO Default warehouse on new products Is there any way I can fix it so it will display quantities correctly everywhere? I had uploaded a few products already with no problems but now every product i want to add stock to just shows 0. Thanks for your help =)

Hello, i am looking into PS webservices and my first goal is to update products availability on my PS from my local ERP database. I enabled only stock management and not advance stock management. Going throught the documentation, i understand that i ll have to export data from my local db (ERP) and somehow PUT them in /api/stock_availables I checked the examples on github but all of them have to do with customers. 1. Has anyone coded connection with products or even better with their availability? 2. How should i run that php file & lets say i get an xml from my db for all the products, can i pass all data through that file? Thanks in advance, C

Hi, we are selling product packs, which contain everything for organizing parties, celebrations etc. - food, drinks, snacks, napkins, candles, etc. We deliver the goods packed in a box. One box (pack) can include for example twenty products. However, we do not sell the products themselves in the e-shop, we offer only the ready-made packs, all-inclusive. We have about 5 basic packs on offer, but most of these packs include variants (the user must choose if she likes white or red wine, or beer, for how many people the party is, etc.). I need some software to take care of stock management for all these products (the system should tell me how many of each products I have on stock and help me arrange stock orders - as we have dozens of products and dozens of suppliers). Prestashop is doing this part very well - I fill in the goods as products, and mark them as "not searchable" and "not showing", and Prestashop handles the stock management, although not showing these products for sale. This is the easy part. But now, how should I handle the product packs? If I use the Prestashop function "product pack", which is clearly designed exactly for this purpose, I cannot have pack variants (yet) - and it does not look like this feature appears any time soon. OK, I can make a separate item for each pack variant, but it means having dozens of packs on offer instead of 5 with variants, which clobbers the e-shop unneccessarily and makes the orientation more difficult for customers - and we don't want that, do we? Except for that, the stock management of product packs in Prestashop does not behave correctly - the stock of all the goods is displayed well, and it increases/decreases correctly as I hand the goods in and out of stock. But the packs, containing the goods, always have a "0" displayed as quantity available. I checked all the basic parameters (having the pack assigned to the same stock as the goods, etc.), but nothing helps. A different solution to my problem could be to make the packs into ordinary products (thus being able to use their variants), and to attach the goods to them as the "accessories" (associated products). Don't know if this is the best way, however, as I haven't tried yet, it's quite a lot of work to do without knowing whether it is a good thing to do... Any ideas how to handle this correctly, before Prestashop implements the feature of "pack variants"? Thank you for answers

Hi Guys, Ive looked around but can find a solution to a stock management problem. I have started to add stock to the warehouse I created in Prestashop. While adding stock we sold an item. Now when I go to remove that item I get an error "You don't have enough usable quantity. Cannot remove 1 out of 0." I had 2 of these items in stock and want to remove 1 leaving 1 left. Why would it say I cant remove 1 out of 0 items. Any help or advice would be useful Thanks

I have multiple product listings that use the same physical stock/ item, and identical References (identical for Combination Reference also). They are just named and described differently as one product is suitable for many different purposes. Below examples are audio cables. Combinations and References, identical across products: Length -- Reference 1m -- rca/rca/1m 3m -- rca/rca/3m 5m -- rca/rca/5m The problem is with Advanced Stock Management -- it treats each Combination entry as a separate item. For example, Name -- Reference -- Quantity: 'RCA audio cable' -- rca/rca/1m -- Qty 100 'SPDIF digital cable' -- rca/rca/1m -- Qty 0 Both these examples should share the same entry for stock, but Presta holds different entries for both. There are so many products in my store so the solution must "combine" identical references into a single Quantity both for adding and subtracting stock via Stock Management or a customer sale. In short: I would like to have a single shared stock "pool" for any unique reference to share. I expect I could modify a controller file to change the way Adv Stock Management tables the stock quantities, but if someone could point me in the right direction I would be incredibly grateful. Alternatively if there is a module that handles stock better than Presta does please let me know. My thanks

Hey, Any known issues in regards to: Advanced stock management. It does not work for me... Eg. full delivered Supply Orders don't increase the stock. When I increase the stock it's not increasing on the products. So before I spend way too much time on it, I just want to hear if there are any known issues? Thanks,
