Return Error to Customer with Low Quality Image Upload

Good Afternoon, Does anyone know of a module that will display an error about image quality when a customer uploads an image to the website? We create tiles that can use customers pictures however I would like some message to be displayed to the customer about the low quality image. Something like: "The image selected is less than 72dpi. This may affect the quality of the final product. Please us another image if available." Customers don't always have a better image to use and I do not want to prohibit them sending it but I do want to warn them before they purchase.

Hello! All my categories page images look very blurry in Chrome. Quality is good in other browsers like Firefox or IE. My original images resolutions are 1378x2000 and home_default size is 552x801. I tried different resolutions and the result is same. Added pictures, first one is Firefox, second is Chrome. I haven't found solution for 2 days.. Maybe someone would know why this happens. I tested it in 5 different computers (in one computer quality was ok, other 4 had bad quality) I am using Prestashop 1.6.1.18, theme default-bootstrap. Best regards

Unable to rectify image clarity issue that the site is facing. I've included screen videos, if you slow down the playback you'll see that a clear sharp image is visible (when the Safari browser dimensions are being adjusted) but within split second, the image is blurred. This is happening at www.zuriador.com (Prestashop version 1.6.0.7) where ever product images are being called, starting from the product listings page right through to checkout, on all Apple devices (desktops, laptops, phones and tablets). Dobrý den, mám zde jeden problém. Zabývám se optimalizací obrázků pro náš web. Když obrázky (formát JPEG) projdou kompresí, mají velikost do 200kb. Bohužel se tu ale vyskytuje jeden problém. Po nahrání obrázku do systému a následném rozkliknutí obrázku na webu je jeho kvalita oproti "originálu" výrazně nižší - viz printscreen (není to moc čitelné, ale rozdíl obrázku vlevo od obrázku vpravo vidět je). Děje se to jak u obrázku s kvalitou do 200kb, tak i u obrázku s velikostí cca 1mb. Nevím proč, ale přijde mi, že Presta i přes to, že obrázky projdou kompresí, ty nahrané obrázky ještě více zmenší.. Text na obrázcích už pak není skoro čitelný, což je u našich produktů poměrně zásadní problém. Snažím se toho zbavit, ale bohužel.. Nemáte, prosím, tušení, čím by to mohlo být? Proč se obrázky po nahrávání zobrazují v radikálně nižší kvalitě (rozlišení)? Je to nastavením či něčím jiným? Předem díky za jakékoli info.

zdravim, bojujeme na smateria.cz s obrazky. Nektere barvy to po uploadu do systemu zmeni k nepoznani - vetsinou dost vyblednou. zkousel jsem menit miru komprese, nahravat v png. zjistil jsem i, ze nektere barvy se zobrazuju v safari jinak nez v chrome. zkousel jsem i uploadovat v presnych rozmerech, aby to nemusel zmensovat nevite, jestli existuje nejaky klic, podle ktereho prestashop zpracovava fotky? pripadne jak fotky exportovat z photoshopu? nebo co by to mohlo byt za problem? diky mockrat

If I upload image products with backoffice are uploaded with high quality. However,If I use the webservice to upload images, Images have bad quality, You can read new Id image in response of the webservice. I have checked in other server. The images are uploaded OK. I change the .htaccess but continue without Do somebody know the reason/solution? Thanks.

Dear users, I'm using prestashop 1.5.4.1 and I'm having problems with the quality of my product images. My images are created in photoshop and are cropped and re-sized for what should be a good product image. The orignal image looks really good, but once it is uploaded on my prestashop the qualtiy gets really bad!!! Settings of the photogenerator are already JPEG 100 and PNG 9. So that doenst seem to be the problem. In the attachment you will find the original image, the generated image, and a comparison image. You can also check my site www.loavies.com. Where can I set quality of image displayed on pdf documents. On Theme selection page there is a Invoice Logo to upload. When I upload a file with resolution ex. from 500x 350 to 1100 x 770 image quality in pdf is ok but logo is too large (left size on uploaded image). When I change logo to smaller resolution logo on pdf become smaller but resolution is very bad. Can any one help to resolve this problem? Thanks.

I have a headache to find a solution to the quality of images that provides prestashop. I would like to know the solution to avoid compression when creating the image and scale only. By compressing the images for prestashop, the images are left with a dirty background. I have prestashop 4.8.2. PHP 5.2.11 Also tested with XAMPP with PHP 5.3.8 The quality of the pictures in prestashop, are 100 jpg, and png to 0. I have also tried to change in images.inc.php as explained in: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFI-2470 I attach one example. the 3237-1181.jpg file is the original and the 3237-1181-large.jpg is prestashop compressed I don't like the compression. -
Hi everyone! I am facing a problem with image resize. Do look at the attached picture for an example of what I meant.. I tried to increase the img size for the #bigpic. 1st step I did was: Add a new dimension in Preferences > Images Regenerate the images => I see no results to the images in resizing 2nd step: Went into hosting panel. My theme/CCS/Global Changed the original /* product img */ #primary_block #image-block {width:304px;height:304px;border-width:1px;border-style:solid;} #primary_block #image-block img#bigpic {width:304px;height:304px;cursor:pointer;} TO /* product img */ #primary_block #image-block {width:330px;height:500px;border-width:1px;border-style:solid;} #primary_block #image-block img#bigpic {width:330px;height:500px;cursor:pointer;} => There is results, but the image is stretched and quality is lost. => Image does not fully cover the white space in the box =>Also, the box is covering the product information =>jqzoom quality was good, it maintained though ----- ---- ---- ------- ------ ------ ----- ------- ---- Please help and advise!
