Prestashop version 1.5.4.1 Hi, I'm having some interesting issues with the prices on my site. Prices are either extremely high or extremely low. For an example please see the attached images. In the images the product named DVD+R DL 100-pack has a base price of $230.85 (which is outrageous to begin with) but its final price is $1713.85. In addition to that, when you edit the product the wholesale price of the product is $1436.40. Normally I would just go in and manually change the prices but this isn't an isolated incident. It's happening to a lot of products on my site. Now to make this even more interesting I'm using InventorySource.com to upload products and their quantities to my website. I've contacted them regarding the issue and they have assured me that things on their end are running smoothly. I have had problems with them in the past but this is the first time that they haven't been able to fix something. So now I'm curious if there is something causing this with Prestashop. If so, I have no idea where to even start looking for issues regarding this. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Sounds silly, but one of my suppliers is very slow in getting pricing to me - need to get those products up and seen so I can get some inquiries and push him along..... is there any way to bypass putting a numeric value into some of the products - i would like to leave the pricing blank where it shows on the category page, and simply put in the 'short description' 'contact us for pricing and availability'. i have tried putting in zero, 0, 0.00 etc... and it wants me to put in a numeric value or i cannot enable it as visible. Thanks in advance!

I have a product which has 3 sizes and 5 different attributes which are common, but the attribute prices changes depending on the selected size. ive tried the combinations tab and it seems to hold on to a single attribute price for all three size, how can i get around this. For Example Hot Dog Small = $10 Regular = $20 Large = $30 Attributes = Check Box Mustard For Small = $1 Mustard For Regular = $2 Mustard For Large = $3 So if i select a regular hot dog with extra mustard, it should be $22. But it holds it to $21. Please help

This is the second PS store that I have built but I haven't seen this one before. I have set specific pricing for some closeout items, but it is showing a different price on the back end than on the front end. See the attached screenshots. The Avail 5 bicycle should be $594.60, so it is a 105.39 discount from 699.99. But it is showing $601.38 on the front. Hmmm. I have tried re-entering the specific pricing rule and that didn't change anything. Am I making a rookie mistake somewhere?

Dear All I have a pricing-functionality requirement for my new shop 1.5. and wonder if someone can help: I sell different kinds of cake. Each type of cake can: - come in different sizes. (different $ values) - have a different degree of design complexity. (% added to the price of a given size) - have different material/filling. (% added to the price of a given size) I would like to have each cake detail page shown with a cake configurator (pricing calculator) that incorporates these 3 variables. Does anyone know how I can achieve this? Thanks for your help!

I've found that I can set a specific price for a certain product attribute but I'm wondering if it can go further than that. I'd like to be able to set it as a percentage and then make the change permanent for that attribute. When that attribute is chosen for a product, the price would be affected as well. For example, the attribute group contains the following: 1 yard 3/4 yard 1/2 yard 1/4 yard The price for 1 yard is 100% of the retail price, 75% for 3/4 yard, 50% for 1/2 yard and 25% for 1/4 yard. Is this possible? Thanks!

Hi everyone! I would like to show my website and pricing to another country for example USA, and visitors from USA will be automatically shown the exclusive pricing. My default currency is in pounds. I tested the website and !lthough i'm located in the USA, it is still unable to detect that im from USA, and still showing me the wrong prices. I have to click on "US Dollars" before it show me the prices. Is there any ways that visitors from USA, will be automatically detected and will show them the exclusive pricing?? Thank you!

Hi, I have implemented prestashop for my online shop and just wondering how to enable the different pricing option for customers of various demographics. For example I have product, Let suppose it's X Now I want that USA customers see the price as (let's say) $ 50 , and when UK customer visits my store, he see the price as $ 80. I know there is an option to do this in when we are adding the product but it's not working. I have tried it. Please help me in this regard. Thank you very much in advance. Regards, Muzammil Hussain

Hi I am a newbie, sorry if I have posted in the incorrect section. Please advise and I'll repost accordingly if necessary. When I add a combination that requires the price to increase, the price that is added to the cart is correct; however he price displayed on the actual product detail page is incorrect. I have a product that for example when Medium in size be increased by 6.00 inc tax, that's 5.00 exc tax. The price shown is as follows ..... Small - 19.99 - all OK Medium - 25.99 - shows as 24.73 on the product page, adds as 25.99 in the cart Large - 31.99 - shows as 29.47 on the product page, adds as 31.99 in the cart Interestingly the difference in price from samll to medium is out by 1.26 and then exactly double 2.52 when selecting large.

Need an attribute calculator/combination builder which will work differently from the existing setup, Would be a simple calculator that would increase the weight or decrease the weight of the product base on the variable selected then multiple it by the quantity for shipping. The price of the product would change +/- depending on the variable selected. All current systems in prestashop can not handle this on a larger scale, as it creates a product per attribute which gets very large and complex to price, other pricing solutions only offer a linear pricing solution, this is a problem as the quantity increases it will reduce in discount exponential until it hits the floor base minimum margin specs as per table below Price Impact On Variable Per Quantity (USD$) Weight Impact Variable (grams) $ x 1000 $ x 2000 $ x 5000 $ x 10000 $ x 20000 Group 1 Variable 1 Variable 2 Variable 3 Variable 4 Group 2 Variable 1 Variable 2 Variable 3 Group 3 Variable 1 Variable 2 Group 4 Variable 1 Variable 2 Group 5 Variable 1 Variable 2

Hi everyone. I am a newbie to prestashop and i'd appreciate your help. I am trying to develop a wholesale jewelry store and most of my product prices are based on precious metal prices that fluctuate and two other values that do not fluctuate (labor/piece and unit weight in grams). Metal prices are always changing and it would be inconvenient to be uploading prices for a large inventory constantly. The product price = labor($/pc) + [weight(grams/pc) * market price of metal ($/gram)]. My products are in excel files and the formulas do not translate to csv. I was wondering if there is a way to upload the product specs according to the formula above and input a market metal price either manually once/twice a day or linked to a market website like bloomberg in real time. Thanks for your help

Pricing of product changes once in cart
jchrisf79 posted a topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
Website: http://store.fiercehunting.net Version: 1.4.8.2 The pricing for the Model 18 Tree Climbing System - 5 pack is acting unexpectedly. The product is setup for a retail price of $139.99. We then have a rule setup to provide the price on sale for $14.00 off making the price $125.99. The For Sale rule is working fine until you add the product to the shopping cart. At that time the shopping cart is adding additional cost onto the price in some random methods. I believe this is a feature and not a bug or an error. It seems as though it is taking the customer's account information or location and adding an amount to it. Maybe it is a tax issue (although it is not 9.25% as set for US-TN) or a currency translation issue or something. Ideas or thoughts? -
I have set up a 10%-off voucher for a tax-free product that has a Specials discount and am getting a pricing discrepancy. It's a $400.00 Base Retail item with a Specific Price Reduction setting of $50.00 for a Final Price of $350.00. I have the “Display On-Sale Icon” option selected and there is no tax (Tax Rule=No Tax) specified in the product's settings, although tax in general is enabled (at a 6.5% rate). But in the product description's On-Sale pricing box the text reads “$306.25 per Year” - $43.75 off the correctly shown displayed $350.00 On-Sale amount (above it alongside the icon), and I can't figure out where it computes that. The voucher and No-Tax are working, since in the Cart they apply to the $350.00 for a net of $315.00 with no tax showing. It's just the display in the Price box for the product, which is naturally confusing for the customer. I am using the default Prestashop template in 1.4.8.2, all up to date. Does anyone have any idea as to what is causing this and how to fix that text line? Thank you.

Hey all, I would like to apply quantity discounts to some of my products, but not in the fashion Prestashop's 'Pricing' tab allows me to. Say I have a product (software) that has a fixed price, and when you buy more of them (i.e. more licenses), you get a discount on the additional licenses. The base price of the first item is supposed to stay the same. I can not simply add an option in 'Pricing' tab for each amount of licenses and then apply a new average price. While this would work for a while, it gets unacceptable at the point where I want to sell 50 or more licenses. I find it impossible to figure that out with the default PrestaShop capabilities. Any help is appreciated, don't spam this post with "check my totally overpriced module", I won't buy it anyway. Thanks in advance yezariael

Hi All, I create a product that is measured in square inches (length x width) and has a set price per square inch ($.15). I would like to know if either of these solutions is possible: 1. Have the customer enter the length and width and have Prestashop configure the final price. 2. Have the customer enter the total area (square inches) and have Prestashop provide the final price. In this case, the customer would have to provide me the measurements so I know what size to make. I have tried to enter .15 per inch in the unit price rule in the product catalog and keep getting an error " this field unit_price is invalid" Will Prestashop not allow me to charge cents in this field? Thanks, John

Good morning all, I am sure this question must have been asked before but every time I type a search query I get about a 1000 responses, so I thought I'd ask again. Is it possible to configure somewhere in the BO a way to show a price saving as a monatory value and as a percentage, for example: RRP £40.00 Our Price £20.00 You Save £20.00 50% Saving or some form of the above, it is the percentage discount that I am really after. I have attached a snippet to make things a little clearer Thank you in advance Paul

Hi there, hoping someone can help with my pricing/cross-selling dilema ... I know that you can offer discounts when purchasing multiples of the one product, but I'd like to offer a 'combo' type deal where-by if you purchase product 'A' in this Category and also product 'B' in this Category, then a discount of $_ will automatically be applied to the products at checkout. Can anyone help with this? Perhaps there is a reasonably priced module I could use? Thanks in advance! .
